I got an IKEA brush set...including the two you have. And yes they are really descent and works fine for my mixed media....love the short handles when I travel.

For cheap brushes, they are really impressive. I despise the little plastic things they add with other cheap watercolor sets xD
Oh my gosh! I JUST got those paints from IKEA to play with on my channel, too!!! :D we had to go to ikea so we could reconfigure our living room and I’m actually going to have a proper desk to work on!!! So excited!!! And the plastic box itself is the part that appealed to me most. I even picked up an extra pack of those brushes, too. I kinda want to get other ones supplies, too! You know, I don’t think I’ve ever had chamomile tea, now that I think of it. But I love your chamomile and your cute bumblebees! I want to give them a bumble SQUEEZE! =>.

I love bumblebees. They remind me of sheep in a way. They are so fluffy and slow and just minding their business and sometimes they will just randomly sit on you while you are working because they are tired and need a break. They will sit for a little bit and then just carry on. I'm generally creeped out by insects (plus arachnophobia since early childhood ;.;), but gardening helped me handle it better and bees have been a huge love of mine since last year when I have first spotted them in my lavender. No joke I spent entire afternoons just staring at my lavender bush and observing the bees xD Bees are so underrated. Even though they are meant to die when they sting you, if you don't swat them away, they will screw themselves out of your skin eventually and survive. GENIUSES, I tell you! They are little geniuses! xD I'm looking forward to your IKEA reviews! And yes for a new desk!! I want one too, but that has to wait >< Proper desk can really make a difference when working, which I never considered until I started working from home xD
Anita Gadzińska bumble bees are my absolute favorite bees because yes, they are like fluffy sheep!! I used to live in a house with a huuuuuuge garden, it was so beautiful....anyway, that meant we had a LOT of bugs, and I used to wait for the bees to get drunk on the pollen and I would pick them up and pet them like tiny little kitty cats. Tiny drunk kitty cats, anyway. =>.
Anita, nmy an awesome artist like you could create something so beautiful out of children's watercolor paints! Awesome job! Speaking of flowers, I just saw your gardening video that you made 3 months ago and as of recently, I ADORE gardening and wanted to know how your plants have faired since your video! How are they and have you started growing any summer plants?

Aww, thank you! I was planning to make more gardening videos at first, but honestly, the garden became such a sanctuary for me that when I'm working in it, I can just forget everything and let my mind go blank. I sometimes remember to take photos and I've made an Instagram account to follow my journey and make notes about things I could do better next year (you can find it by going to my main Instagram and the link will be in the profile). I also ramble about the garden in my weekly Patreon podcast, but that's only because the garden became a big part of my life and I can't just leave it out xD But for now I'm not planning to make any videos. It's my sacred space :D
And I can't argue with that at all! I am SO glad that you kept it up! That's really all the closer that I needed knowing that your plants are alive and still growing! I though I was already following your instagram! But, I'll go double check right now and keep and eyeball on everything! Thank you so much for letting me know, Anita, about you garden and you! 30x30 Direct Watercolor Challenge! LOL Just kidding. Check out Following the White Rabbit if you don't know about the challenge. But yeah, I prefer softer colors in watercolor, and when I use nice paints, I have to take everything into a mixing reservoir and water it down a LOT to get soft shades, so I think she's right about quality = vibrancy.

Oooh, I will have to look into that challenge! Anything to loosen that watercolor style. Having control is good, but not when it stifles your creativity. I looked at my old paintings after I had the quality=vibrancy epiphany and I really think that I've always wanted to use vibrant colors, but my cheap watercolor set couldn't handle it xD
