This made me appreciate more my Brio 2019 RS. No push start, no reverse cam, same body, same wheels same interior. I love honda brio but that 130k increase is not worth it with the competition it has now.
I can't justify the price increase as well since it's practically still the same 88hp/100nmT While the newer model has Android Auto/Apple Car play, I still find aux/usb more reliable Also the older model has a more sporty look, personally not a huge fan of the wider grill
For the price, Honda could have done more. Some gripes this Tito has: -a proper connector for the infotainment system. The current port is a joke. - a reverse camera. A hundred grand more? Come on, Honda. - a lack of a push start button. The Wigo has that for 729k. I just checked it out last week. The NVH is indeed bothersome if you are not used to it. - the design is quite attractive. For the price, it had better be. All hatchbacks sold here in the Philippines have a toneau cover, even the measly and cheap Suzuki S-Presso. There’s not even any provision to put one, hence Honda doesn’t even sell one as a separate accessory. Yes, even the top-spec RS black top, no toneau cover. What happened, Honda? Price increase is insane. Barely a facelift and they charge 130k+ for it. I’m a 2019 Brio RS owner and it was already painful to splurge for the RS variant back then. Might as well save a bit more and get a City or even a BR-V with the current price.
I was surprised that the rear door lift struts are exposed and can be seen inside the cabin 6:15 . The Koreans designed their lift struts hidden (eg. Picanto, Accent HB, Eon or i10) when the door is closed.
I agree fully, the USB interfaces / ipod compatability is really terrible. I wonder if this is Philippines/Thailand built variant only? In South Africa the USB interface and ipod compatability is more better Its really disappointing for the price u are paying
Just had my honda HRV serviced last week and had plenty of time looking through the cars in the showroom and I must say all models are either underwhelming in specs, interior or overpriced for what it can offer. Even my HRV (2020-2021) was not worth 1.2m in 2021 when it was bought. You are just really paying for the logo which does not have any significant feature to offer. So my advice to first time car buyers, save your cash and spend it with other brands. You will get more bang for the buck. Especially this brio, not worth it.
I love Honda, that's the first car we had, so this is tried and tested brand for us, and for that price point, i will either go with Mitsubishi Mirage G4 or Suzuki Dzire, heck even the lower variant of Toyota Raize that offers more compared to Brio... i am honestly disappointed with this price increase with less upgrade to offer. I am already preparing to buy myself a new car, but as much as I want a Brio, I'm considering between G4 and Dzire, (I'm more positive towards dzire though).
@@michaeljcasazza7742The Brio has minimal features and has a steep pricing. But 10 years behind? You should check the tech in the outgoing NSX Type S and the newest RDX.

I have a 99 CRV. It still runs like a boss... I am not hilas though.. I bought that jdm surplus. LOL
Hmmm the price increase is based on the price of the 2019 Brio, which was 735K. Did you guys know that the price of the previous one, model 2022 is around 835K for the black top model? It’s unfair that the new Brio is being compared to the 735K price tag which was 4 years ago, it should have been compared to the previous model priced at 835K. So 835K vs 863K - with all the added upgrades like the LED Headlights, Foglights, DRL, Apple Carplay and Android Auto infotainment, backing sensors, auto windows down and up on the driver side and new mag size color, I think the price difference is well justified.
