You forgot to emphasize the power difference - 66HP vs 89HP! That's a significant power difference of 23HP!!! It means bitin masyado si Wigo compared kay Brio. That is worth more than 35K difference. A lot of people would even pay more for just a 5HP improvement.

Engine wise
3 cyclinder wigo is suited for fuel efficiency and cost saving.
While on the other hand
4 cyclinder brio is better suited for refinement and punchy delivery

Isa Lang Masasabi ko, both vehicles are good lalo na pinaghirapan mo sa pinangbili mo and these are very well known brands. Tamang Alaga and maintenance Lang at Wala ka magiging sakit ng ulo. Be proud of your achievements!

Drive both cars. Sobrang layo ng performance ng brio sa wigo. In terms of power and comfort. Brio FTW
Tama, my friend using wigo , and most of the time dinadrive ko, ang layo ng performance ng brio ko sa wigo nya, ang hina ng makina,sya din dindarive brio ko, amaze na amze nya at naiinis kasi ang kayo nga daw ng brio prerformance,kaya ayun bumili sya ng brio 🤣
I'm surprised that the filipino wigo doesn't have a 1.2L engine option, here in indonesia the 1.0 was only available for the base model toyota agya, it was also discontinued last year due to low demand. Now you can only get 1.0 engine on its cousin the daihatsu ayla
Also the 5 seater agya here doesn't sell as well as it's 7 seater version (toyota calya), which is weird because the 5 seater honda brio sells more than the 7 seater honda mobilio. I guess honda dominates the 5 seater market while toyota is more family oriented...

Sir I'm choosing between Brio and Wigo for my first car. I'm also a beginner and a very heavy person (110kg). Even though we're only 3 in the family, I kind of lean towards wigo because of the ground clearance of 180mm vs Brio's 137mm, which might benefit us for possible "sayad".
But Brio's power would also benefit us since it would make up for us being heavy and Wigo might not make it on uphills?
What do you guys think? Thanks!

I love Toyota but brio looks so much better
I'm a Honda user. In my own opinion mas lamang ang Honda brio in terms of cooling system and also engine Honda is 1.2 cc comparing to 1.0 of Toyota
overall they have pros and cons siguro right now ung pricing ung nagdadala sa decision ng tao which is why mas maraming nag lelean sa wigo.
I like wigo brand coz its nice his design.

Lamang ang brio for me pang barkada ang dating at pa gwapohan ang itsura. Yung wigo ok naman pang maliit na pamilya.
for me, the complete package here at that price is toyota wigo, but mas attractive nga lang ang Brio, di nakakasawa.

Hello. You mentioned Toyota Wigo does not have height adjustment as well as the steering wheel. Sorry to ask but, you mean, for the steering wheel it cannot be pulled up or down, but can be pushed and pull? Or cannot be pushed or pulled inward/outward but can be pulled up and down? For the seat, it can only be pushed backward and forward but cannot be raised up?? Wew..i am planning to buy a TRD when i return to PH but wow.

Brio looks and sounds so appealing but I would probably go for wigo as my first car next year (hopefully) kasi lubak2x ang daan papasok sa bahay namin.

Ground clearance is a deal breaker for me because of metro manila road conditions
Wait. Shouldn't be the main competitor of the wigo is the celerio, espresso and the mirage which are all 3 cylinders?
So the fact that they think of it as Brio's rival make it a win win for its Price and Performance/Features?

Minimal lang yung tipid sa gas ng Wigo. Mas tipid pa nga Brio kung parehas 3-5 passengers incl driver, yun lang expect na mas madali magasgas ilalim due to ground clearance.
Sana all may pambili ng sasakyan . Lage nalang nabyahe.. kapagod

Mas quality talaga ang honda unit,
Parang pilit kasi styling ng wigo di masyado bagay lalot maliit, yung brio sakto lang mas macho look at subtle design more HP pa brio onalaps.
Both cars are reliable but one car parts price is 3 to 5 x more expensive than the other...
