The pre-ride walkarounds are now the best to be found on You Tube; comprehensively and logically listed specs with a good view of everything you're referring to. Nice work Mark
I have the Tracer 700 and am seriously interested in upgrading to this. Although, it does feel as if Gonzo is staring at me with shades on when I look at those clocks. Great Review!!
That's exactly what i did..Test drove it, the first 5m i thought to myself, i need this bike ! Base model was much cheaper on the dealer near me, with a little talk, they offered me more 2 years of warranty, the quickshifter and the first service ! Got everything i wanted. Love this bike
Hi Mark great review as always. The thing with the Tracer is that Yamaha have turned the standard MT09 into a proper sports tourer with a proper sized passenger seat (plus decently positioned passenger foot pegs for passenger comfort) a center stand which is a must for a proper touring machine. Unfortunately the other manufacturers like Kawasaki ( Ninja 1000 sx) and Suzuki (GSX 1000F) are out of touch with the needs of a proper sports tourer and are out and out sports bikes with panniers attached and miss out any thought for carrying a passenger in comfort. The only thing I don't like is the exhaust down pipes as they look very crude and agricultural. Apart from that Yamaha have done a fantastic job.
Nice surprise from Mark. I thought that we will have to wait more for this. Very good review. Did you feel any instability at higher speeds? There is also a comfort sit as an option. Would you go for it or it is the stock one more than enough? Thanks and keep going on with more reviews. Appreciate it.
I've tried to buy the Tracer 9 GT for several weeks here in the US, but no dealership has been able to deliver. Due to Yamaha canceling many dealers orders because of global shortages. I finally "settled" on a Triumph Tiger 900 GT. After several hundred miles, I am thoroughly pleased with my decision. Yamaha, get it together! You lost a long time customer.
Thanks for that, Mark. You've just confirmed what I was hoping. It's a great bike. I was considering the GT but I'm not sold on semi active suspension, and I didn't realise this bike had so much the GT has. Add the heated grips and quick shifter and it has everything I want. I'll book a test ride soon and probably slap down a deposit straight afterwards if I like it as much as you do, which I probably will.
Excellent review, thank you. Deposit paid and hopefully collecting early June. Needed a bigger bike as I now have a 80mile round trip to work with the wife on the back. The Honda Integra 700 was struggling.
I wouldn't push a bike off the centrestand with the side stand down . I see lots of testers doing it...Ive had bikes where occassionally the side stand was long enough to dig in first and pitch the bike over. I think it happens on uneven ground where the bike is over a bit and /or is falling towards you (or to one side) as you take it off
Im thrilled with the "leftover" 2019 model I puchased new in march. Power aplenty for my one hour therapy sessions. Great brakes and transmission and shes barely broken in at 750 kms. Cant imagine how much better the '21 can be.
Great review Mark and you covered all the important stuff unlike some. Love the fact you can do 200 miles on one of these and still got some brilliant grunt. didn't realise the triple was a crossplane but ill tell you it sounds lovely. Should I be trading in my CB1000r for of of these babies. 🤔🤔
I have the old GT version and I think it’s better looking then this new one. The tft looks like a diver and the seats don’t look so premium as the old ones. The engine looks strange with a big hole. Also the swingarm is not so sporty as the previous
Well this is a proper overview, this is the way how it should be done. Thanks for review, best video I saw. I'm considering of buying, can't decide is it really reasonable to go from 9 to 9gt since money gap is high.
Very good review. I was looking hard at the Tiger900 GT, but I will have to check this out. Yamaha makes great reliable bikes and I am thinking about touring - strictly on road. I like that it has a 120 front tire.
Great review Mark. I do think they have missed an opportunity to make this bike truly awesome by omitting Bluetooth connectivity, especially on the GT and the dual screen is perfectly designed for it.
Perfect I tower over you at 5'8". Very nice bike, just the sort of bike I'd own and ride. GT version with a top box. Side panniers would be a hassle with traffic filtering so I properly wouldn't use them very often. SOLD!
I wonder how much difference of power, handling and quality altogether it makes between the Tracer 700 which I own and this beautiful Tracer 9 that is tempting me a lot! ..... And if it could be worth the upgrade...haven't had a chance to test it as not available in my area...
I had a 2015 FJ09 ( the U.S.name of the Tracer) loved the bike. Hated the seat. I put over 33,000 miles on her before I sold her. Miss her allot. That CP3 is a gem of an engine!
No question, this is my next bike - a GT in the fall. Been waiting for a comprehensive review, and you've delivered. Have an older Speed Triple and VStrom 1000. Don't need both now :). BTW, really like the idea of splitting the dash info, but the hyper-angular design is jarring (Yamaha, knock off those corners and reduce the outside lip!), but it is certainly NOT a deal breaker. A compao with the Triumph 850, Kaw SX, maybe a couple of "real" ADVs would be interesting, but this really fits the bill for a true all-rounder.
@@markpulling12 Quick reaction, how do they compare? I'm guessing the Ninja is a bit more sporting, but less overall useful (like commuting, twisties *and* touring)?
Great review! That split screen is not my cup of tea, did you find it distracting at all? Is is something you’d get used to? Otherwise seems like a fantastic motorcycle!
Sometimes the seat height is not as important as the shape of the seat itself. Yesterday had a chance to test Tracer 9 (810mm seat height) VS MT-09 (825mm seat height). I was able to almost flat foot the MT where the Tracer 9 felt much taller. That's because the seat on MT-09 is much narrower. I am 5'9" (175cm) with 31" inseam.
Yes agreed ... funny enough I had the exact same conversation on either this one or the mt09 review comments saying exactly what you have just said ! Cheers mark
Great review! Thanks for that! In your video you said the screen was good and that you did not have any noticeable wind in your body or helmet. What about the lower body? Do the fairings protect your knees and legs from the air stream? On the other hand, the seat also seems to be ok, did you noticed any uncomfort from the plastic/rubben junction between the gas tank and the seat? Thanks in advance
Mark, This is likely my favorite all around bike. Your comment about German bikes being heavier, hits the nail directly on the head. You crucified it with that comment. The BMW R 1250RT is a beautiful bike. But the extra 150 lbs takes away from it's playfulness. Yes, it's a tad more smooth and compliant than the Tracer 9 GT. But the RT sacrifices much of the chuck-ability factor for just a tad bit of smoothness. Plus, the additional lightness in the Tracer 9 GT makes it that much easier to handle on the ground for us with 30" inseams. The Tracer 9 GT comes with almost all the extras. Add the heated comfort seat and top box and you have everything you need for touring without breaking the bank. This combination with that engine, economy, and range seems to be the sweet spot. THE light weight naked sport bike tourer without compromise... Gordon
Relative light weight compared to its competitors, makes it a good commuting bike not so hard to ride in town. If you consider that most the population of the world lives in towns, this is an important issue and a great answer by Yamaha project designers. Go to work and around the world, comfortable but also fun and sporty, fully equipped on the GT, with the lowest price of the sport tourers... Hard to ask more.
Cracking review as always Mark. I've got a custom style bike and a sports bike. This would sit nicely alongside them for actually going places. If only I had the garage space and cash 😭
Great real world review of the Tracer 9 Mark although the TFT screens were hard to see in the review. I am guessing that the screens are much easier to see "in the flesh" so to speak? Another really nice Yamaha, but do I go for this, an MT-10 or simply keep my Super Tenere? Decisions, decisions!
Hi Mike yes the screens were fine to see in the flesh ...the super tenere is a great bike ..I'd keep it unless you just fancy a change ...the tracer would feel different with it's triple and lighter I guess :)
@@markpulling12 I always wanted a Super Ten and I have had mine for 3 years. I have been considering a lighter bike and I have test rides lined up for 2-3 weeks time. Let's see how they go 😊
I've just got an MT10 tourer but was considering this but it arrived too late in the UK for me. I like how they improved the footpegs, the last ones were awful and saw many people swapping them out for FJR ones.
Nice, I got my mt09 last week and love it so far, apparently you can adjust seat height on that machine to 810mm, or have it at 825mm, the mt09 is actually 825 lol
Just to say great that you show seating position and leg length. I too are 5.9" and 30"leg length so careful in what I look at coming from a heavy Pan european 1300, time for a lighter touring bike and this looks possible replacement. Great reviews on all your bikes Mark, thanks
Getting one in next couple weeks.the red, trading my tracer 900gt,I'm 5.7" I have the 15mm yamaha lowering kit which puts my feet nearly flat.only about £70 genuine Yamaha part,so dont upset your warranty.got it fitted to old tracer to.hope this helps some of my fellow short riders.
A wonderful positive review. In the market currently and just had a slightly disappointing test ride on a Multistrada 950s. Looking to test the GT model next week. I think it could be just what I need in my life.
Interesting how you found the windscreen good. I test rode one myself at 5'8" and the buffeting it created on my helmet was horrible. I would have to get a taller screen or a spoiler because it was unbearable at high speeds.
Nice review, Mark! I'm wondering if a person of 6'2 could easily fit on Tracer 9. Some other reviewers said that the throttle is quite snatchy. Is that true? Even in the 4th drive mode? Thank you in advance for your answer.
Hi Dan ...the throttle is very smooth ...I rode the bike for two hours and never once thought "oh snatchy throttle' yes it would fit you perfectly at 6ft2 as it's a big bike Cheers mark
Great review Mark. I really like the fact that this has cruise control which had previously only been available on the GT. I reckon there's no need to go for the GT now, just buy some throw over luggage and you're away. Sounds amazing and appears very quick. Much better looking than the MT09. What's not to like?
Great review as usual. Just one comment I would add is that inside leg measurements is the key indicator here. For example I am only just about 5'5" / 164cm but I have the same inseam as you at 30". And I have managed to ride the previous version despite the seat height being higher, I have ridden the GS on low seat height etc. So anyone shorter than you could still have some hope of riding this bike - just saying. Best wishes
Thanks ...all taken onboard yes I did realize that that's why I always mention my inside leg measurement when doing the cut scene of me on the bike cheers mark
I can clearly understand your English very clearly delivered and spoken. Australian English i find it hard to understand. nice review nice video really appreciated. thanks mark 👍
Not really a bike that I would ever consider, but you definitely sold this one to me! I think it looks good and like da Ali G dash. Seems to go and stop ok. Yamaha brakes don't seem to have the best rep in the stopping dept. but this one seems like a winner. Question for you Mark. Who makes the better triple engines, Triumph or Yamaha?
Thanks Alex ...well as we are both triumph fans and triumph have been making triples for years you'd think that was an easy answer ..but I have to say the mt,09/tracer triples are simply stunning so I'd say Yamaha wins ....just !
Just had a demo ride on a GT and I'm in love! Just wondering if this semi active suspension is worth the extra money? Dealers seems to have only GT's to try :/ Obviously I can add quickshifter and heated grips to a standard version but I don't need side panniers ;)
Hi I have the gt model myself and yes the suspension is say 20% better but I wanted the blue silver colour and the panniers so the gt was the one for me ... cheers mark
Great review...what is luggage like on GT model. does it work with topbox ok, is there a single mount plate you can fix to rear grab rail for soft tail box...thanks
Hi Mark, how does the seat height/width compare with your ZX6R? On paper it's lower than the 32.7" of the ZX6R, but looking at how you tip-toe on the Tracer, this one seems harder to reach. Thanks.
What do you think about the suspension of the non-gt version? Because my experience on a 2020 MT09 (no Tracer) wasn’t far from good as well as the throttle response. The suspension was’nt balanced at all and the throttle was numb, indirect and jerky.... So I am very interested in your experience😉.
Hi I heard about these issues and was mindful when I rode this.... pleased to report the throttle is very smooth now and the base model suspension felt very well damped Highly recommend it Best regards mark
Nice review, thanks. Great you include ergonomics aspects. Definitely like the bike, and finally it almost has the payload for taking a pillion and luggage which is a prerequisite. Not convinced on those displays though (understatement). Bizarre.
I rode the earlier model and was so impressed with that CP3 motor, this one can only be better I guess. I love the bike but why on earth do Yamaha insist on only giving it one dipped beam headlight when they go to the trouble of fitting cornering lights to it? It seems such an important thing to skimp on and having two would certainly make night riding so much safer.
I’m waiting to chop-in my BMW R1200rs for the GT version, in the ‘Icon Performance’ colour scheme…👍🏻 Just waiting for my local dealer to contact me, when one is available for me to test ride! I already know this all-new engine is totally awesome, from having a go on the new for 2021 MT-09sp a few weeks ago!! 😃
Very cool dash, reminds me of the 80,90s anime's mech gundam combat display, very very cool! The ride, engine runs soo smooth! Wow it's a winner with little effort👍🌈❤️ 2021 best ever bike so far in many ways.
Hi Mark, nice and good job. Maybe we could add they changed so much from the previous model, that is quite a new bike. Starting with the inside of the engine, more cc 4 more hp but most important with the maximum torque 1,500 rmp lower (!) Also with new ciclistic specs, as the more vertical cilinders, longer rear swing arm, 3cm lower steering head, different lenght and inclination of the forks, etc In fact, together with the new full electronic pack, it's almost a new bike. And not just the seat it's adjustable, the footrests as well in heght, and even the handlebar can be 5mm (just a little but possible) closer turning the risers. All together with electronics controls you can fit your bike onto yourself. 👋 Greetings from Italy.
Hi thanks for the info :) I did in the intro emphasize all NEW engine, increased capacity ,more power and torque ,longer swingarm etc ...it's tricky to name everything that's changed in detail otherwise the intro would go on and on ,but thanks for writing it here Best wishes mark ☺️
@@markpulling12Ok, you said most of the new features, but some other are missing. The most important to me is the much lower rpm of the max torque, that is why Yamaha changed the cilinders lenght, to have more power still running low. Than maybe my English it's not too good to understand all what you said, especially at the beginning, and I am sorry for that, probably I lost or misunderstand something.
Enjoyed your review but from my perspective which is your Go Pro view the instrument panel was unreadable but all your other reviews the instruments are easy to view. One more thing above the clock there seems to be another panel does this show anything. Keep up the great work 👍🇦🇺🇦🇺
Thanks for the comment ....yes the dash is easy to read in the flesh but it's not bright enough for the GoPro to pick up for some reason ...maybe it was the sun ! Cheers mark
I've tried the early tiger 800s but not the 850/900 as my local triumph dealers went bust ....they are supposed to be brilliant but I think the tracer at £10 k is slightly better value :)
Mark! What are you doing, I've just seen your review on the Tracer 700 and was impressed with so much that I'm viewing one tomorrow. Now you thrown the 900 in to the pot!...........help!
Wow! What a beauty. Not my style of bike, but I can certainly appreciate it for what it is. When I look at it, I feel like quitting my job and going on a long journey.
The prior generation bike had a lot of wind noise. Has that gone away? Maybe that is too tough to determine without both bikes side by side. Not so much bufeting but noise itself.
The pre-ride walkarounds are now the best to be found on You Tube; comprehensively and logically listed specs with a good view of everything you're referring to. Nice work Mark

You could improve on that by using another camera without distortion.
That would be (more) awesome!
A bit hard to get past a scuba diver staring back at me from above the handlebars. 👍🏼
Haha yes I saw the scuba mask aswell lol !
I find it a bit disturbing
Yeah the dash is heinous. Love the look otherwise
I like the looks of the dash-has a cool 80s retro-futuristic feel to it😎

I second that. I'm 5'8", with only a 29-1/2" inseam, so that information tells me whether or not I should even bother considering a bike.

Great bike I think I would go for the standard tracer 9 over the gt9 and have a quick shifter fitted Great review 👍
Thanks Stuart I have the tracer 9 GT myself...best bike ever !!
I've just got an MT10 tourer but was considering this but it arrived too late in the UK for me. I like how they improved the footpegs, the last ones were awful and saw many people swapping them out for FJR ones.
Thanks for the comment....love the mt10 btw :) .... cheers mark
@@markpulling12 Yes, I definitely think I've made the right choice :) Your reviews are the best on YT by far, keep up the good work. Cheers Ian
@@HepcatHarley thanks Ian :)
Nice, I got my mt09 last week and love it so far, apparently you can adjust seat height on that machine to 810mm, or have it at 825mm, the mt09 is actually 825 lol
Hi Mark, I’ve always loved the Tracer, not too sure about the new screen setup 🤔. I do like the colour, and it sounds really nice.
Hi craig yes its strange at first looking at the screen but you soon get used to it ...funny bunch these designers lol
Just to say great that you show seating position and leg length. I too are 5.9" and 30"leg length so careful in what I look at coming from a heavy Pan european 1300, time for a lighter touring bike and this looks possible replacement. Great reviews on all your bikes Mark, thanks
Thanks Phil ...I have had many heavy 1300 tourers myself and these tracers are a great lighter alternative
Best regards mark
Thanks for mentioning the 12v socket :)
No problem .....nearly forgot it ! Lol
Nice vid. What do you think it would be like for a pillion passenger?
Hi..the passenger seat looks ok ,quite well padded ....add a top box as a backrest and it would be great :)
Cheers mark
Hi from Australia waiting on mine to arrive best explaintion on bike well done mark
Thanks Steve :)
Great choice
Getting one in next couple weeks.the red, trading my tracer 900gt,I'm 5.7" I have the 15mm yamaha lowering kit which puts my feet nearly flat.only about £70 genuine Yamaha part,so dont upset your warranty.got it fitted to old tracer to.hope this helps some of my fellow short riders.
A wonderful positive review. In the market currently and just had a slightly disappointing test ride on a Multistrada 950s. Looking to test the GT model next week. I think it could be just what I need in my life.
Thanks Phil I have the gt review aswell
I'm saving up for one myself :)
Regards mark
@@markpulling12 Thanks, I'll take a look at that. I will be keeping my 22 year old Honda Blackbird too, because it's still so awesome to ride 😊
always look forward to your reviews, may exchange my z900 nxt year for the tracer 9. less wind , if she lets me !!!!
Yes reg these are great
Another awesome MP review. Thanks Mark!
I’d buy it just for the centre stand. Can’t seem to find many bikes that have one these days.World’s gone mad.
Awesome review. CP3 triple at this CC looks unstoppable. Thank you
Thanks Julian ...glad you enjoyed it

Really looking forward to your review of the new Honda NT1100 when you get a chance to ride it Mark, shame they didn't make it shaft drive.
Thanks yes saw the nt1100 online yesterday .. will definitely be reviewing that one :)
Interesting how you found the windscreen good. I test rode one myself at 5'8" and the buffeting it created on my helmet was horrible. I would have to get a taller screen or a spoiler because it was unbearable at high speeds.
Yes screens and wind blast are a very interesting phenomenon Erik .. cheers mark
Nice review, Mark! I'm wondering if a person of 6'2 could easily fit on Tracer 9. Some other reviewers said that the throttle is quite snatchy. Is that true? Even in the 4th drive mode? Thank you in advance for your answer.
Hi Dan ...the throttle is very smooth ...I rode the bike for two hours and never once thought "oh snatchy throttle' yes it would fit you perfectly at 6ft2 as it's a big bike
Cheers mark
I have 2016 model tracer . I'm 6'2'' . Its perfect for me . Great bike
Great review Mark. I really like the fact that this has cruise control which had previously only been available on the GT. I reckon there's no need to go for the GT now, just buy some throw over luggage and you're away. Sounds amazing and appears very quick. Much better looking than the MT09. What's not to like?
Thanks ...I think this would be the touring bike I'd go for :)
Hope you could do a review of Suzuki V Strom 1050xt.
Lots of bike for the money but I don’t like “Scuba Steve” staring back at me all the time! 🥽
Yes he's always watching you !
Looks like a perfect place to mount a phone between the screens.
Great review Mark! Love that Tracer engine note! I might have to trade my 18’ Street Triple 765 in!
Thanks Gregory ....I'd buy one for sure .... brilliant bike :)
I had a Street Triple. What a bike. Three cilinders have always great performances. You get the best of the 2 and of the 4 without their lacks.
hi mark, you say you got 30" inseam is that to floor with or without your boots on?
Without boots on Darren flat to the floor
I can clearly understand your English very clearly delivered and spoken. Australian English i find it hard to understand. nice review nice video really appreciated. thanks mark 👍
Thanks for the feedback

@@markpulling12 thanks again and stay safe 🙏
This bike is the one to compare with the new Honda NT1100 manual transmission.
I wonder which one would win?
I enquired about the nt1100 yesterday ...it's due in the UK in a couple of months I was told.. looking forward to comparing it :)
Cheers mark
Nice review. From across the pond in Benson, AZ. Cheers Mate.
Thanks Jack !
Thanks Alex ...well as we are both triumph fans and triumph have been making triples for years you'd think that was an easy answer ..but I have to say the mt,09/tracer triples are simply stunning so I'd say Yamaha wins ....just !
yamaha is the only brand that makes bikes for riders who are also normal people
Nice video, a lot of details! One of the best walkarounds. Plz tell me your body height.
Hi I did say at the beginning but I'm 5ft 7 cheers mark
Liking for showing yourself on the motorcycle and also setting your foot on the peg.
Thank you for the comment
Best regards mark
Great review. Thanks
Thanks glad you enjoyed it regards mark
Hi Trevor don't know about the soft box but givi boxes monolock / monokey will fit I'm sure :)
Regards mark
Thanks for the vid Mark, I do like the sound of the stock cp3 note. Don't think I would consider changing the can as I did with my mt07
No you wouldn't need to Andrew it's sounds great stock
Thanks mark
Great review I've had three tracers great bike and a good down to earth review
Glad you enjoyed it
Hi Mark, the display looks a bit dark on your video. Can you confirm the information is bright and easy to read?
Hi yes it is bright and easy to read ...it's just the camera didn't pick it up very well
Best regards mark
Hi Mark, how does the seat height/width compare with your ZX6R? On paper it's lower than the 32.7" of the ZX6R, but looking at how you tip-toe on the Tracer, this one seems harder to reach. Thanks.
Hi yes the tracer is harder to touch down because of the Width of it's seat near the tank ....the zx6r is narrow at the front
Cheers mark
Faltou mostrar a balança do lado da coroa.
The scale on the side of the crown remained to be shown.
Hi I heard about these issues and was mindful when I rode this.... pleased to report the throttle is very smooth now and the base model suspension felt very well damped
Highly recommend it
Best regards mark
terrific review, I subbed
Thanks for the sub Robert :)
Hey Mark i think the base model has a quickshifter doesnt it ? or only the GT version has one ?
Hi only the gt model has it but you can easily add it to the base model it's not too expensive :)
Nice review, thanks. Great you include ergonomics aspects. Definitely like the bike, and finally it almost has the payload for taking a pillion and luggage which is a prerequisite.
Not convinced on those displays though (understatement). Bizarre.
Thanks for the comment Robert
I rode the earlier model and was so impressed with that CP3 motor, this one can only be better I guess. I love the bike but why on earth do Yamaha insist on only giving it one dipped beam headlight when they go to the trouble of fitting cornering lights to it? It seems such an important thing to skimp on and having two would certainly make night riding so much safer.
Yes Andy seems silly that one dipped light
@@markpulling12 Legislation, only allowed one on a motorcycle when this far apart.
I’m waiting to chop-in my BMW R1200rs for the GT version, in the ‘Icon Performance’ colour scheme…👍🏻 Just waiting for my local dealer to contact me, when one is available for me to test ride! I already know this
all-new engine is totally awesome, from having a go on the new for 2021 MT-09sp a few weeks ago!! 😃
Great choice .. these new bikes are brilliant

Are those screens really that hard to see? When you zoomed into them at 3:50, I could barely see the numbers past the glare from the glass (plastic).
Hi. No they are very readable ...it's just the GoPro makes it hard to see
Cheers mark
Very cool dash, reminds me of the 80,90s anime's mech gundam combat display, very very cool! The ride, engine runs soo smooth! Wow it's a winner with little effort👍🌈❤️ 2021 best ever bike so far in many ways.
Thanks ....someone who likes the dash !! :)
@@markpulling12 yeah, I mean it has crosshairs !! Isn't that cool? Split display s, really unique and special, and still functional 👍
@@Antimortem I really like it myself
Excellent review Mark! Great bike
Thanks Steve !
Hi Mark, nice and good job.
Maybe we could add they changed so much from the previous model, that is quite a new bike. Starting with the inside of the engine, more cc 4 more hp but most important with the maximum torque 1,500 rmp lower (!)
Also with new ciclistic specs, as the more vertical cilinders, longer rear swing arm, 3cm lower steering head, different lenght and inclination of the forks, etc
In fact, together with the new full electronic pack, it's almost a new bike.
And not just the seat it's adjustable, the footrests as well in heght, and even the handlebar can be 5mm (just a little but possible) closer turning the risers.
All together with electronics controls you can fit your bike onto yourself.
👋 Greetings from Italy.
Hi thanks for the info :)
I did in the intro emphasize all NEW engine, increased capacity ,more power and torque ,longer swingarm etc ...it's tricky to name everything that's changed in detail otherwise the intro would go on and on ,but thanks for writing it here
Best wishes mark ☺️
@@markpulling12Ok, you said most of the new features, but some other are missing. The most important to me is the much lower rpm of the max torque, that is why Yamaha changed the cilinders lenght, to have more power still running low.
Than maybe my English it's not too good to understand all what you said, especially at the beginning, and I am sorry for that, probably I lost or misunderstand something.
@@nemozack3767 haha that's fine, you write English very well ....I definitely couldn't speak Italian lol
Good bike for commuting and have fun on the Twisties
Definitely jaun :)
Cheers mark
The other long panels just have the warning lights
as im the same height as you do you look through the screen or over it.cheers.best reviews on youtube.
Hi alasdair ...with the screen in the high position I was just looking over the top of it so all good ;)

@@MrMoviedrome sorry Andrew not at the moment I'll be doing all the Hondas over the next few months
Great review as ever, so would you go for this or a triumph 850 or 900?
I've tried the early tiger 800s but not the 850/900 as my local triumph dealers went bust ....they are supposed to be brilliant but I think the tracer at £10 k is slightly better value :)
@@markpulling12 Thanks for your reply, just have to dig deeper in to the piggy bank!
Mark! What are you doing, I've just seen your review on the Tracer 700 and was impressed with so much that I'm viewing one tomorrow. Now you thrown the 900 in to the pot!...........help!
oh no !! definitely try the 900 aswell :)
Try both! I tried the 700 and 900 but the 700 was ok and the 900 blew me away :)
@@Blaxtard it's proper fast !!
Wow! What a beauty. Not my style of bike, but I can certainly appreciate it for what it is. When I look at it, I feel like quitting my job and going on a long journey.
I could ride the tracer all day long ....what a fantastic machine !
The prior generation bike had a lot of wind noise. Has that gone away? Maybe that is too tough to determine without both bikes side by side. Not so much bufeting but noise itself.
I found it to be ok Greg ... depends on the rider I guess cheers mark
