- These are Ash's best pokemon from each region that Ash went to in the pokemon anime. This is probably the greatest ranking list of each pokemon region. There are no better aces in the Pokemon anime than these pokemon from every series. Ok maybe, but still. I hope we see Ash use these ace pokemon in pokemon journeys the series.

People don't wanna see it but before Grovyle evolved into Sceptile, Swellow was the true Ace. He also after evolving never lost a fight without taking down at least one pokemon.
Writes probably wanted Glalie to feel like a Hoenn ace since they made him be the star of the battle with Morrison but that came too late. Swellow was proving itself time and time again.
4:38 When I first watched sinnoh league and saw Infernape defeated Paul, it almost felt like he won and if there was no Tobias, Ash would definitely win because in Sinnoh league finals Tobais defeated the last trainer with only Darkrai whereas Ash managed to defeat Tobais' Darkrai and Latios.

Ya throgh ash lost in semi finals, we can call him top 4, he was top 2 in that, the top 2 in the sinnoh league was tobias and ash, its just that they faced off a little earlier than the finals

I feel like the best from kanto probably is snorlax because charlizard defeated an articuno but charlizard is a fire type, articuno is an ice type. meaning charlizard had the best chance of winning and snorlax is never hated

Charizard and Infernape are very powerfull, but I consider Charizard to be more powerfull than Infernape because Charizard defeated an Articuno, meanwhile Infernape struggles to fight an Moltres.
Leon’s Level 70~ Charizard is no match for Level 2000 Ash Pikachu wearing plot armour.

I bet Sir'fetched would be considered in the running for the top had this video been made after that battle lol. Once the Leon battle is completed, assuming that is the final battle of the season, you should redo Galar, just in case. But, I guess, Lucario would still win either way.
Sir fetched is the definition of "Assist Kills" I never got Alot of Victoria but most of the Other Journey's mons wins are the result of Sir fetched dealing massive damage and then loosing

What is it with people unnecessarily hating on Lucario just because he defeated Cynthia’s Garchomp and such… If Greninja were to be here instead of Lucario he would’ve probably defeated Cynthia’s Garchomp and then it would all have been fine because those are the Greninja stans and believe me i love Lucario he’s my all time favorite Pokémon and i really love Ash’s Lucario and it may have not gotten much development like Greninja but it did have had developed or are people literally forgetting about the Lucarionite episodes? Or the episode of Greninja training Lucario and don’t forget Ash’s aura that’s development right there besides there’s a reason behind this all that being the writers being overworked so stop unnecessarily hating on Lucario and just enjoy Ash owning this awesome Pokémon and yes i love Greninja aswell!! Also I can say I'm kanto there were 2 island indigo and orange island and in indigo charizard was epic but in orange island no one can even touch snorlax it was best pokemon of ash that time so in kanto ace pokemon of ash will be charlax same then these most get even stronger after johto in hoen snorlax showed its tankyness in beretta battle while charizard showed its power in unova against iris dragonite so both r good as f boims
Ash's lucario single handedly moved lucario from my top 5 favs to probably somewhere in top 10 or 15
