Hey Tim! I'm so glad you got to go to my favorite BBQ place! Too bad I live in far far West Texas! Always have a bottle of their BBQ sauce in my frig! When Red Rocks Casino in Vegas opened they had a restaurant. It just wasn't the same without those glorious Texas skies! Cheers!
I doubt if you'll see this so long after the showing - but I feel the need to type anyway! There are so many opinions about ribs as there are about politics - 🙄- from sauce or no sauce - beef or pork - red sauce or white - even bone or no bone and fall off the bone or with a "chew". I've not had it every way- but I've certainly had a variety! Hi Tim, as usually love to see your video clip. Austin, Texas is my second home town though anyway 'Buc-ees' is a convenience store with restroom along free way for fellows long distant traveller. Hope you have a good time at Texas! Cheers,
Howdy! Whoa, you're in my neck of the woods! Salt Lick in Driftwood is the original, and is very good experience. But if you are still around here, head down to Lockhart, TX for some seriously good BBQ! Enjoy!
Thank you so much for reaching out! Really loving the folks out in Texas! Definitely making a return trip as Texas is definitely a favorite destination! Will be on the lookout for places in Lockhart 😃
Coming from a Texan, pork ribs are ALWAYS the safest bet. Please try some of our original and delicious TexMex food that we are famous for. Many of our TexMex restaurants have been in business for generations.
Never seen you or any of your videos. But you have the most amazing happy energy! I’ve yet to watch a video of one person so happy and nice about everything for 20 mins.. which I’m sure was hours of you waiting but still so genuinely happy! Love it! New fan here!
Would love to go to Texas. Great bbq restaurant. Would love to go to Buc-ees, go to Buc-ees Tim you will be surprised and don't forget to take a video would love to see what you think. I also watch David all the time. Well thanks for taking us to all these great places. Thanks and take care.
Yes, definitely the humidity making your shirt tight! Thanks for the vicarious thrill of all that delicious looking BBQ! My AYCE days are long since over and I get tummy ache full just seeing the quantity of food, but it's still fun to watch.
Potato salad at 12:09. That looks like German style salad. There are a lot people of German descent in Texas. They usually use oil and vinegar instead of mayonnaise. In some variations there is bacon and green onions added. The rest of the food looks really good. There is such a variety of choice for BBQ joints in Texas. I think the BBQ there is superior to Kansas City, North or South Carolina.
You’d definitely have to go to Killens BBQ at it’s original location in Pearland,TX. Their smoked turkey is devine, so are their ginormous beef rib. A must is their creamed corn shucked freshly from the cob!
I have been in Texas for 5 years, I was never crazy about brisket. I liked rare meat with pink to red, and most brisket were over cooked and dry. My favorites are pork ad beef ribs which Texas is famous for. Thee r several good Bar B Q places in Texas. However I refused to pay over priced Bar B Q. $25 for one beef rib.
Tim, I'm sorry, but I think their BBQ, doesn't represent Texas BBQ very well. You might want to try Terry Black BBQ in Austin. There is so many other BBQ places in Austin to try. Love you came to Texas, enjoy having you here. Welcome
Sometimes I do travel by myself, but now is things normal lies and people are feeling safer, I get to travel with some friends as well if they feel up to it
They don’t feed their greeder girls and the waiter. They’re hopelessly skinny. Anorexic? Invite them to eat with you, especially my favorites, peach cobbler and pecan pie, luscious. Plenty for all. A feast to behold.
Aw you make everything look so good tim wow amazing and bucees has great BBQ sandwiches love the mild Jerky yummy stop in its so good and the banana pudding cups the fruit cups everything is so fresh
Tim: I don’t understand why you don’t have more subscribers than mike Chen? You deserve way more subscribers. So laid back and so friendly to everyone!
I would not be able to move after eating all that food. They should have a hotel next door so you can drink and relax after all that food. Happy digestion Tim!
I was born and raised in Texas, never been there but I hear it’s well worth the drive, there’s a barbecue restaurant on every corner here but a lot are just so so

That’s so cool they’ve been doing the ayce for so long. It’s a beautiful place and the food looks amazing. And definitely worth the price now.
