The lobster place tries to fill you up on carbs before the lobsters come. Smart on their behalf.

If the food is good, eat and enjoy it. Don't need to think of going to buffet as "Beating the House or winning over buffet" Business need to make a profit inorder to stay in business so just enjoy as much as You like but don't be wasteful and force yourself to over eat "Expensive" items just to "Beat the House"

@@denbronco44 Enjoy food you like to "get your moneys worth" is fine. But if You intentionally only go for Expensive Items or force Yourself to over eat, waste food than that's Fkd up. Business will be forced to Rise Prices, or Shut down, so Lose Lose for everyone.
      Is that what You want?
And often time, just because certain food cost more, it doesn't even mean it taste good.

You go to a buffet resto to indulge yourself or mostly to overindulge, not because you want to beat the place on their game. You don't go to these places just to eat the bread, pasta, rice, corn, etc. You go for the main dish right away that make a lot of sense, like the more expensive seafood like lobster, shrimps, crab legs and steak or meat if available and if there is still space in your belly, then some deserts. These restos already got it figured out, there are big eaters and will be offset or balanced out by small eaters. These restos don't just fold because everybody is overeating and they all lose profits. Supply and demand is always the barometer of the price, so stop telling customers not to eat a lot of more expensive stuffs as long as they are not wasting them, they paid the price so let them overindulge themselves.

I don't have a jealous bone in my body. However, I must have grown one while watching this video! I was literally jealous when you dipped that lobster in the salmon dip, and don't even mention those yummy looking mashed potatoes with lobster. Beautiful sky and delicious food. I love your videos. You are a accountant. My niece has a CPA and a MBA from the Wharton School. However, she is a New York girl so she would never move to California! I moved to LA, and my first job was selling diamonds and Chinese style 999 gold chains, bracelets etc. in a Chinatown jewelry store. I had a ton of sales experiences. However, I’m just a poor person, and know nothing about diamonds or gold. The biggest problem was the boss wasn’t happy with my honesty!! I would tell customers that certain style jewelry didn’t look good on them!!!!! Haha!!!!! I wasn’t being funny then as the reality is there are other jewelry styles that look good on them. Customers often ask sales people for their opinions just like Mr. Tim Lee ask the cooks for recommendations on what to order sometimes.

Good morning Tim! Thanks for the new video, looks yummy! I did want to take a moment to make sure to warn you about something. I notice you love to eat your salmon and tuna, that's wonderful and all, but because of high Mercury and other metal/compound content in fish these days, you should be sure to eat a lower amount of fish overall, or that is to say, not overload or have a lot every day, as it can be toxic. The USDA/FDA recommends about 8 ounces of seafood in general per week to maintain safe levels of metals and other toxins. Just a little helpful note my friend. Glad to see you are prospering! Keep it up!

Over about 20 hours...Breakfast, lunch, late lunch, early dinner, dinner and midnight mid-rats shipboard. Every Friday. Best

One of my favorite restaurants is on Topanga. It's a Mexican style restaurant but offers more as well. I think you'd love to visit to Topanga. I lived there and Marina Del Rey and Santa Monica for a little while and so many great places to eat in LA and surrounding areas. I love Redondo Beach and Manhattan Beach. The next time I go home to visit I'll have to try the perfect storm. It looks great. I'm more of a crav legs type of person and don't like but the King crab legs so I'm kinda picky I can eat others I just prefer the taste over Dungeness and blue crab legs. I do like lobsters but mainly in soups or gently added to sides. I rarely see you eating clam chowder but it's also another favorite and steam shrimp. I'm from the south so too much fried seafood and I'm not a fan over stream or grilled. I also enjoy muscles, scallops and abalone but now it's hard to find abalone from over fishing which is unfortunate but glad it's heavily protected in the USA. Fresh abalone is the only way and it's one of my all time favorites from the sea. Love your videos and glad to see you eating dim sum because it's always a great meal with a great environment. Meeting people especially servers while out eating helps unlock great food places you'd never find and that's one thing I totally enjoy about you because you go beyond just learning their names and make bonds through breaking bread and it's lovely to see especially growing up in the food industry. Granted I've not worked in that industry for over 20 years but I made lifetime connections around the world. Love your energy and content. Best wishes!

Tim: how much do you travel per month? How are you able to do video new video every couple of day to different place? Did you quit your full time job and is doing UA-cam full time now?
