I think it's good to clarify that Ace most likely only lost against Evan's Crew because he was not using his Leader's Sword and the sword he was using broke.

So as far as I understand in 7K2 Karin died bcoz Rudy kill her to stop God of Destruction but in the end it wasn't stop it completely it shatter a destruction stone everywhere . So not only Rudy can't stop the God of Destruction he eventually kill Karin ( Evan Girlfriend) and Evan turn into a new guy named Catastrophe. Huh well things not go as planned .
well. its gonna be more screwed and complicated when yeon hee comes in to play... revolutionaries is already plot twist enough. And i hope the so called upcoming 'anime' would be a good one

AlphaXbox as the video says teo kidnapped evan.. maybe at tht 1 year span teo knew about the secret of the necklace which was from the goddess and helped him to unlock its hidden powers
