The Riese & Müller Packster 70 has space for up to three children (or one 5'5" tall person) in the shock-absorbent front box. A new cable steering system brings your load lower than ever, resulting in a more nimble, stable ride even when maximally loaded. The Packster 70 comes with everything you need to ride, including an adjustable stem (for family sharing), integrated front and rear lights, sturdy metal fenders and fantastic tires. The Bosch dual battery option offers unmatched range, and the new Gen4 Bosch Cargo Line motor will help you conquer even the steepest inclines.
We are big fans of the Packster 70, as you can tell from our new review. If you're inspired, come take a no-pressure test ride on our stores.

Thanks for the great vid. Can you sit forward comfortably in the load 60 with the foot well, low side box? It looks like my next bike. 8500 mi OM my bike last yr and 3k on car. The Load might be the replacement. In Scottsdale AZ

If I understand your question, yes, you can. It is quite spacious, though for more leg room I’d go for the Packster 70.

@@thenewwheel thanks for answering. My wife is about your size 5’2 and 130#. Heavier than you are. I really want the Load 60 for tight turns on switchbacks on some of our hills here in AZ. Light trail for off road and mostly paved and gravel bicycle access here. i would use it for my errands and as my bike. I also have an EMTN bike Trek Rail 5. So, do you fit comfortably in your Load 60, for say an hour ride?

Any thoughts on this versus the Load for a family to use in a urban setting (NYC)? Both bikes seem stellar!

Great question. The Load is sportier but a big smaller, while the Packster 70 is more a minivan if that makes sense. I’d encourage a test ride at your local dealer as you will know after putting a few miles on each.

    Hi
We have a R&M load 75 but my 7 an 3 year old kids are getting cramped now. Is the packager a better bike to fit kids that age ( plus some more aging)?

Hello! Yes the Packster is more spacious, especially width wise. As you could see in the video, Brett at 6’3” fits comfortably in the Packster 70! I’d encourage you to stop by to see for yourself as we have both demo bikes for comparison.
