RULES:
- Item Rain
- 64 Custom Tracks (randomized)
- Bonus Items Enabled (Every 15 points)
- Double Elimination
- Each KO will be 6 races total, even if I get eliminated the room will always carry on until there's a winner!
INFO:
- Tournament participants consist of UA-cam members and Twitch subscribers!
- 1st place finishers will get added to a leaderboard (which will appear at the end of my videos, mii name + vehicle)
- 2nd place finishers who lose to me in the finals also get added.
- The TOP 11 racers (+ reserves) will get invited to an invitational tourney at the end of the series
- To be at the top of the leaderboard, you must win events with different vehicles (1pt per vehicle).

I know this comment was written a long time ago, but this is why I love watching Troy. He’s fantastic at this game but he’s very humble and respectful about it. He repeatedly praises his opponents for their skill levels and is such a good sport about losing to them. Not every gameplay channel is like that.

Fun fact, the lowest amount of points you can have when entering the finals is 18 points, since you get:
2 pts for getting 10th out of 12 players,
2 pts for 8th out of 10 (= 4 pts),
2 pts for 6th out of 8 (= 6 pts),
3 pts for 4th out of 6 (= 9 pts) and
9 pts for 2nd out of 4 (= 18 pts)!
If you shock dodge in vanilla MKWii its an insane advantage
if you shock dodge in item rain youre barely treading water haha.
I loled at 40:38 when Beethoven's face appeared with the blooper ink, especially since Troy didn't recognize it.
Fun Fact, Troy: I remember that your favorite NFL team is the Los Angeles Chargers mainly because its logo resembles the shock and its overwhelming and intensifying item rain spams, chains, and dodges in MKWii! Because the Chargers have a great defense, this could be the year where your “LA Shocks” will be in contention of winning Super Bowl LVII!

That second race really showed how item rain requires a perfect combination of skill and luck.

i can sorta tell how the key to item rain is to desperately search for items to help you, any items that would normally help you like the shells either disappear or are placed on the ground which can only hurt you, so your search turns from taking out frontrunners to just purely making sure you're not being slowed down

Out of all the Mario Kart game modes, Item Rain is the Mario Kartiest.
These are great especially cuz they’re so long. Being super busy with school I can just like fill a 15-20 min break with a tournament for multiple days

Hey troy! i had an idea just now for a KO format.. its an 11v1
you can never be eliminated, everyone is competing for a final 3 person race, where its 2v1, the final 2 competing against you in the finals will either both get on the leaderboard or neither will. in which case you get a point.
your job the whole time is to cause chaos, they’re also trying to screw you over and maybe you can figure out that part so its not boring for you the whole time knowing you’re gonna be in the finals

i feel like top 4 should be single elimination that way if two ppl are too far to catch up to, that way you dont feel hopeless being in the back, if that makes sense idk im high
