I'm planing on getting a bigger machine, my concert is that it may not fit where I'll be installing it. Thanks for sharing, this gives me an idea of what to expect. Regards.
Wow, Wow, that one big laser machine! May have been a lot of work, but we’ll worth your effort’s. I’m looking forward to seeing your latest productions. Thank you for sharing, and wishing you much success with your new laser! 👍👍
You are very welcome!!!! We probably should have went ahead and got the 100W but we were coming from a 30W Glowforge, so we figured 80W would be a major upgrade! lol
@@malonecustomdesigns nice! I am coming from a glowforge as well. Very similar circumstance! We have loved our glowforge but we are ready to do more as well. Very exciting times! Excited to give it a try! Thanks again!
Hi Emily. You have to take the screws out so you can remove the base that way you can turn the machine on its side for it to fit through a standard doorway. I’m not sure where your workroom is located, but if it has a 48” wide opening you wouldn’t have to take anything apart. In some cases, you have to remove the light from the top as well. Our doorway was large enough we didn’t have to do that.
Where did you get that display rack that is holding your material ? Looks like a retail rack near the end of the video after installation ? I need one ! Great video
Hey!! That rack actually came from our local Hobby Lobby. They occasionally get rid of some of their racks. This was used for their photo mats. We got it for like $20.00 I call that a score!!! :) If you have a local Hobby Lobby, it's worth asking if they have any store fixtures or racks for sale!
Sorry, I'm just now responding. We have been moving our business to a new location and got behind on UA-cam! :) I would just contact ThunderLaser and ask them. They can probably arrange to get you some.
@malonecustomdesigns hi. Thanks. I found them on Amazon, I have not bought them yet, but as soon as I do and install them, I'll show how it went. Thanks. Regards.
Nice video and timely as we are ordering a Nova 35 this week. Thank you! PS - where did you get that vertical wood storage rack for your plywood/sheet wood? Also, how as the Nova 35 been working for you? Any regrets not going with the 51?
You're gonna love it! The rack came from Hobby Lobby....it was one of their store fixtures that they were getting rid of. It originally held matte boards. And I really wish I could get another one lol. We love the Nova 35. Our space was limited and just really didn't have room for a 51. There have only been a couple of times that I wished we had more space. The 35 has been more than enough 99% of the time.
The Nova 35 80W is physically smaller and comes with a lower wattage laser tube. Here is a link to their site comparing them. www.thunderlaserusa.com/pricing/
If you remove the light on the top......MAYBE. It would be a squeeze in situation. Here is some info that Thunder Laser provides. support.thunderlaserusa.com/portal/en/kb/articles/getting-nova-series-machines-through-a-standard-30-doorway
Correct...32" doorway. We are in Arkansas.....so I'm guessing code could be different. Besides...this building was a very old building! We have since moved....into another very old building! lol
@malonecustomdesigns good luck with move. Old doors here wider than the new ones. Colonials had more choices But settlers going west conserved every inch of lumber
We are excited to get this thing running and engraving on stuff!!! What do you want us to engrave?
This was a great video. I have a similar situation. How much time in total did the entire process take, the disassembly and reassembly?

Thank you for making this video. I didn't think I could fit a Nova 35 in my basement. Now I know I can.
My pleasure!
Congratulations. Thanks for video.
You're welcome!
Good video, thanks. what are the dimensions without the base?
60X40X28, but that is not counting the light on top. The light can be removed pretty easily.
Can you tell me why you have to take the screws out when moving it in?

Do you know where I could find those "warning lights (red-green)" at the right-top of your machine?

So much for getting this into my upstairs office. 😩😩😩
I have seen pictures of people taking them upstairs, but I sure wouldn’t want to be the one doing it lol.
Is this one much different from the Nova 51?

it was huge courage to seprate it.
Confidence :)
Would the top section fit through an interior doorway that measures about 29"?

@@KelseyWiseman You're Welcome!!
So ur not losing any width or length , ur just lightening the load?
@@krissyjohnson2246 You will have to take it off of the base and lay it sideways to get it to fit through a door. Not just for weight.
Cool.
It is pretty cool!
32 inch commercial door?
Haven't seen one in nj.
Must be a code.
I don't know of a residential door 32 inch
