Have the LGCX and Series X. One thing most do not realize is to set the Xbox Input on TV to PC Mode. Hands down, LG is the very best for next generation gaming.
@@DEVILTAZ35 I don't think so as setting the input to PC mode you get full chroma 4:4:4 colors, and the lowest input lag. With XSX set at 4k 120hz. If using C1 on game optimizer don't use boost mode. It's only for 4k 60hz.
I'm loving that the Series X/S is getting love. What they're doing is really revolutionary. Quick resume and gaming subscriptions are buzz words this generation but they may end up being the norm with future for gaming consoles to come.
Now that technology has improved, how is the burn-in issues from OLEDs when gaming/tv watching? I use to work at Best Buy years ago when OLEDs were just introduced to the market but haven't kept up with it and have yet to own an OLED TV. Nice setup and congrats on the new home.

Yeah, I've had some issues like that here and there. I think it's on Call of Duty. If I had to bet, they're putting more of their resources towards the next Warzone since they're rebuilding the whole engine, rather than working to fix the current Warzone, but who knows.

Plenty of other better options out there than that tp link router. That would have been something I would have talked to bestbuy about. The smart home person would have recommended something different.
Bought one a month ago from Amazon, well see but I run the pixel optimizer every time I turn the TV off so I'm expecting some decent longevity. My set up is the 65 inch c1 with a sp9ya soundbar and xbox series x. My only issue is content is always hit or miss when it comes to the soundbar and idk if it's a decoding issue or if it's an input issue.
I just bought two Xbox series x, and I have 2 65 inch lg oleds. A cx and a c1. The Xbox, hooked up to the c1, having no issues. The cx however, the Xbox says it doesn't support 4k. Any ideas? The cx has all the bells and whistles that the c1 has. I'm confused as to what is going on
Yeah, it could be as simple as a firmware update. If it's not that, let me know. I'm not 100% sure what it could be outside of playing around with both your Xbox and tv's settings
Oled with all the burn in issues is even worse to use as a gaming tv. Oled are over priced bullshit. Sony x85j or x90j do just as good for way less and no burn in
Yeah, I completely forgot about mentioning this in the video. I always play with the cabinet open and it's not an issue, but you're correct that this Xbox actually can heat up pretty quick when it's closed off, unfortunately.
@@LeeLechner what I mean is there only 2 inches of space from top of xbox to top of the cabinet when it standing up I'm pretty sure there enough room if you put xbox laying flat
I've had no issues at all. It looks like it's mainly an issue if you have a static image for a long time at higher brightness. But, if it's anything like my LG 38" monitor which had logo burn at one point, I just had to play some videos on it and it self-healed after 10-20 minutes. Setup looks good, but have you thought about the response time since you play on TV? This is main reason why I prefer to play on gaming-monitor since I'm all-time FPS player.

C2 is not working with SX at the moment…4K 120 is fine in game but as soon as you try to get back to your Home Screen it loses signal…if you go from game to hdr calibration srceen is fine but as soon as you switch to Home Screen which is 60 hz it kills the signal to the tv…if been stuck with no signal…been lucky I get it back sometimes by unplugging the Xbox for a bit before plugging it back in and turning it on…doesn’t happen on the C9…….frustrating as hell, it works if I switch Xbox SX to 60 hz…
@@need4green268 get the C2…freesync works gr8 with xbsx…like butter…issues with handshake could be Xbox not tv but it’s doesn’t happen as much now…if it does disconnect hdmi cable and reconnect it……C2 looks excellent…
The setup looks nice and clean; however, the TV just seems to sit way too far from the wall. Is it possible to push it back further until you need to access the back panel or cables?
He seems to have a RGB setup behind the tv, for that reason you don't want it shoved right into the wall as you won't have a nice effect am glow, I could be wrong but that's how I have my LG ZX OLED setup with lights behind the tv might even be more space then his as I also use them to light up my room
Yeah, I can push it back to be nearly flush with the wall. I keep it as is because it makes the lights look better. The closer RGB lights are, the more they'll look like dots on the wall
The Warzone FPS was only an issue due to Warzone not currently being optimized for 4K 120fps. I'm still able to get 120FPS on other games, like Call of Duty Vanguard
The problem at least for me on PC there are too many hackers if you PVP. Don't get me wrong there is hackers on console too. Another is the TV you need does matter. You need a low input lag TV. This is where OLED Tv's take the cake. They have near instant response time. Try playing games on a cheap TV, and no game mode. It's like your character is leaving the bar at 2am wasted stumbling all over the place. The input lag is insane.

You need to activate 120fps on your Xbox in the settings then warzone will run at 120fps (not stable) but your tv had vrr so that will help a lot
