A lot of people assume it’s mean that god has made us (females) and men for one another 😭 but it refers to generalizing things. For instance night and day men and women small and tall. Basically indicating god has made everything in life as pairs.

Mabrook on your nikkah. Alhamdulilah after being married for almost 10 years, the main advice I have is keep your husband and private life as quiet as you can. Not everything amazing needs to be flaunted. Some things are best kept between you both ❤️

Communication is definitely the thing that keeps the marriage going. Always support each other and try to squash any arguments that comes up as soon as possible. :))
Privacy is key in a successful marriage. Not allowing any outsider input as no marriage is the same. We all have our individual journeys! That is one piece of advice I would say has been the most helpful for me!

So it should be quite apparent that chatting privately to someone of the opposing gender is prohibited, regardless of your intentions. I mean, mash'Allah, your talking stage ended in a lovely union. However, your union did not start off in a halal way. When you're meeting a potential, you need a mahram to be present-a brother, father, or other male relative-your sister cannot be your mahram. Nonetheless, may Allah pardon both of you and bless your union with khayr آمين
وَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيمَا عَرَّضْتُم بِهِۦ مِنْ خِطْبَةِ ٱلنِّسَآءِ أَوْ أَكْنَنتُمْ فِىٓ أَنفُسِكُمْ ۚ عَلِمَ ٱللَّهُ أَنَّكُمْ سَتَذْكُرُونَهُنَّ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تُوَاعِدُوهُنَّ سِرًّا إِلَّآ أَن تَقُولُواْ قَوْلًا مَّعْرُوفًا ۚ وَلَا تَعْزِمُواْ عُقْدَةَ ٱلنِّكَاحِ حَتَّىٰ يَبْلُغَ ٱلْكِتَٰبُ أَجَلَهُۥ ۚ وَٱعْلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِىٓ أَنفُسِكُمْ فَٱحْذَرُوهُ ۚ وَٱعْلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ
You can read the last part of that verse.
