Testing Dollar Tree Insert Cards with the Cricut machine

I’m excited to share my experience testing out Dollar Tree’s insert cards with my Cricut machine. These look identical to the Cricut insert cards! They say they have 12 pieces, but they make 4 cards total. I used my Cricut Joy machine to make the card (I had to literally dust off my machine). The card fit really well with the card mat, and the design lined up too! I used one of the ready-made card projects in Cricut Design Space. I did the math for the price per card. The Dollar Tree ones are around .31 cents each, and the Cricut ones are around .33-.66 cents each. I wish Dollar Tree had more colors. I wonder if they will eventually come out with more. I will pick more up next time I go! :)

I like you can get a few at DT to try, and eventually, if you want, you can always buy larger quantities at another retailer. For a business, I'd recommend ppl use a wholesaler one they can afford to purchase bulk.

Can/Does anybody do cards on a regular Cricut? I have the Explore 3. I would hate to have to.purchase another machine just to make cards!! I want to do cards so badly!! Would I possibly have any luck using the Cricut Card Mats?

I’ve used the Cricut Vinyl at Dollar tree. For personal stuff a big YES! If I was making something to sell? No. And never on the Transfer Paper!
As for the Tools? Oh Lord YES! I have both DT and Cricut Brand. They’re the same! It’s be ridiculous to spend more!

It's 12 pieces - three cards, three insert cards, and three envelopes. It doesn't say 12 cards, it says 12 pieces.

Sorry I just saw your comment. I was just comparing it to the Cricut ones. The Cricut package says 12 ct but you get 12 cards, 12 insert cards, and 12 envelopes so I just wanted people to be aware of that even thought the dollar tree says 12 pieces its different than the Cricut ones.
