    I don't take any note, if i am sick i call in, if they dont believe me, that is there problem

      A lot of places are requiring a doctor’s note or else you can get points and lose your job. At least here in the US.

    I am being threatened to be failed from my course if I do not provide a doctor's note. I was sick so I missed work and school as to not get others sick. It is very suprising for me as I am new to Canada

    Yes! Stay in bed! This is a waste of time for the Dr.

    These days if you’re sick most employers will expect you to work from home if you can’t get to the office.

    If employers are forced (CA) to provide sick pay, it's within our rights to verify why our money is being spent without completed duties of employment.

      The usage of sick pay is optional, i have NEVER once used any of my 3 sick days a year in california even though i have been sick and called in.

      You are incorrect. You could very easily be sued for requiring a doctors note to use CA paid sick leave-which can be used for a variety of reasons, including routine care for the employee or their family member.
