What he's trying to say is, if your unsatisfied with life or your situation, do something about it. Instead of sitting around wasting time and bitching about it. Makes perfect sense to me. And also he's saying, don't make compromises, and think for yourself. It's not an angry tirade, that's some good advice.

He basically saying that he dosent like people telling him what he needs too do or how too feel or go about tbings. He made it where he is through hard work and passion and drive. And he doaent like people telling him how too live his life or how he should do things because they lazy and cant do it them selves. And that he dosent like holding anybodys hand or doing tnings for people that they can do them.selves bc they dont want too do the hard work.

@TWOhits6 Actually he doesn't smoke weed, drink, or do any drugs. He's stated it in interviews and referenced it in songs.
@chroniCnausia The band itself isn't a straight edge band, however Mike Muir has said many times that he doesn't smoke, drink or do drugs. So yes you could consider him straight edge although I don't think he's ever labeled himself as such. Kinda like Henry Rollins he lives a totally sober lifestyle but prefers not to be trendy and announce himself as straight edge. Hope that explains.
