@@ItzHussuniI was actually invited to a different interview somewhere else the day before this group one and I got the job there! As for the group interview it wasn’t too bad, we only had 2 tasks which were introduce the person sat next to you to the rest of the group and sell a random shoe to the group. Not heard from them yet but won’t be too sad if I don’t get it as at least i passed the other interview :)

I also noticed that the other candidate also watched your videos, I could tell by his replies to the questions we were being asked. And because there was only 1 role available, I GOT THE JOB.

Hi Richard, just had my virtual assessment group interview this morning after listening to this particular video and the employer called me back in the afternoon and said she was very impressed and that I had passed. I thought I had tanked but I didn’t say that. It was a role play interview and also we were given a scenario where we had to advice the client. I remembered the 4Cs you taught me and I just went for it. There were some rude candidates taking over everyone but I just let them and did my part and also included other candidates in the discussion. Interviewer told me that it was good that I didn’t take over or over talk like some other people. She said I listened and acknowledged everyone and worked well as a team. I’ve been invited to a face to face final interview next week. Any tips? Thank you for getting me to this stage. You’re amazing🙏🏾
I recently passed mt group interview using those techniques. I would also add that at the start the roles should be split amongst the candidates if possible such as time keeping or accumulating i formation if in the task you are given many pieces of i formation on different papers. In my situation i asked if anyone else wants to accumulate the information and if not i'm happy to do it. In the end i was the one accumulating information and also asked about a timekeeper. This video was incredibly helpful and i'm greatful to have had such amazing resources in preparation for my dream job selection process
Because of your videos sir, I keep passing some series of assessments, last one has been a psychometric test (personality), I nailed it and you helped me. In couple of days I'll have a Group Interview coming up and I wish I will go through that as well. The group interview will be my last test for the position, I pass it and I'll get hired. I had one today, and by far WORST interview of my life. It was the first time experiencing Group interviews. People talking over each other, dictors, and just very challenging to get a word in. Thanks for many good tips. I've a all day group interview tomorrow, I'm a bit introverted so don't do well in large groups even though I'm excellent with customers on a one to one bases so rather nervous but this has helped me to know I don't have to be the first to answerer every question . I've no idea what to do about masks or handshakes since pretty much all restrictions ended last week, but I'm still not sure if a handshake is appropriate.

These interview tips are great! I had a career advisor and he offered an interview preparation for 500 pounds! Anyway, my strength based interview and the group exercise is on Monday. I will drop a comment as soon I heard from them!

Q2: do you have any new and exciting products or services coming out soon? Q3: what frustrated you in the past about people who have held this position previously?

I’m the one who can’t get into the conversation at a group interview even when I was speaking in my mother tongue. English is my second language and I need to use it in the interview.
In group interviews, especially in your second language, prepare concise points ahead of time about your strengths and experiences. Practice delivering them confidently. To join conversations, use body language like nodding and maintaining eye contact, and listen actively to find moments where your insights are relevant. Don’t hesitate to politely interject with phrases like, “I’d like to add…” to make your voice heard. Update: I got the job!! I'm so excited. So the group interview wasn't at all hard. Im usually nervous no matter how prepared I am for them. But this time around, with your help, I wasn't as nervous because your examples were spot on. The interviewer only had us introduced ourselves and go over our resumes. Completely simple, which was great for me. However, I was very much prepared and ready for anything. Thank you forever!💓 & although I didnt use them, I'll be keeping them up as sticky notes on my laptop to help me through my day to day customer service role.

@@sysonic917Heyy!! It was four of us. Me and another woman was dressed formally, the other two weren't. I personally feel that appearance matters. The interviewer has never met you before so your appearance will set the tone of who you are and that you take the meeting seriously. Group interviews can go one or two ways. Either group exercises or simply to save time. So they interview more than one persons simultaneously. I was worried that they were gonna do scenarios that prove teamwork as well as individual strengths bc I don't like to be put on the spot, but they didn't. It was a very simple process. However, the notes I took from this video and his other videos sure helped me to feel prepared for the "what ifs". They literally just asked us to briefly scan through our resume and the typical "tell me about yourself" question. So regardless of how the interview will go, be as prepared as possible so you'll feel confident. Bc at the end of the day your knowledge, confidence and energy is what they're looking for. As for as the other candidates, I think we all did well. That being said, set yourself apart by your appearance and put your best foot forward. Goodluck !!! 😊

@@sisi-eo8lg the group interview was more relaxed than i thought we basically did an ice breaker and then split into groups and did some collaboration tasks and presented our ideas, then they took us into interview rooms and individually interviewed us for about 30 min - that sounds scary written down but i wasnt as anxious when i was actually there but i unfortunately didnt get in as i probably didnt contribute as much as i should have lol, however i somehow got into the one that i interviewed for next which wasnt a group interview!
I'm a HR professional...there is a big difference between having a group interview in front of those that work for that company called a " panel interview" something in which u should know before hand and that's not uncommon and perfectly fine....and the second type of group interviews is the one where u interview in front of other candidates...That's A BIG RED FLAG.. especially if u don't see it coming..and u were not told ahead of time..if u go in for a group interview with 20 or 30 other candidates for 1 position as a group...that's demoralizing and unprofessional..RUNNNN from that type of interview..trust me especially if u were not warned ahead of time...who would want to work for a company that treats ppl like that?..if they treat u poorly in the interview process can u imagine if u got hired!!!!..dodge that bullet..u deserve better then that

As for the group interview it wasn’t too bad, we only had 2 tasks which were introduce the person sat next to you to the rest of the group and sell a random shoe to the group. Not heard from them yet but won’t be too sad if I don’t get it as at least i passed the other interview :)

Hi Richard, just had my virtual assessment group interview this morning after listening to this particular video and the employer called me back in the afternoon and said she was very impressed and that I had passed. I thought I had tanked but I didn’t say that. It was a role play interview and also we were given a scenario where we had to advice the client. I remembered the 4Cs you taught me and I just went for it. There were some rude candidates taking over everyone but I just let them and did my part and also included other candidates in the discussion. Interviewer told me that it was good that I didn’t take over or over talk like some other people. She said I listened and acknowledged everyone and worked well as a team. I’ve been invited to a face to face final interview next week. Any tips? Thank you for getting me to this stage. You’re amazing🙏🏾

I recently passed mt group interview using those techniques. I would also add that at the start the roles should be split amongst the candidates if possible such as time keeping or accumulating i formation if in the task you are given many pieces of i formation on different papers.
In my situation i asked if anyone else wants to accumulate the information and if not i'm happy to do it. In the end i was the one accumulating information and also asked about a timekeeper.

Thanks for many good tips. I've a all day group interview tomorrow, I'm a bit introverted so don't do well in large groups even though I'm excellent with customers on a one to one bases so rather nervous but this has helped me to know I don't have to be the first to answerer every question . I've no idea what to do about masks or handshakes since pretty much all restrictions ended last week, but I'm still not sure if a handshake is appropriate.

I’m the one who can’t get into the conversation at a group interview even when I was speaking in my mother tongue. English is my second language and I need to use it in the interview.
In group interviews, especially in your second language, prepare concise points ahead of time about your strengths and experiences. Practice delivering them confidently. To join conversations, use body language like nodding and maintaining eye contact, and listen actively to find moments where your insights are relevant. Update: I got the job!! I'm so excited. So the group interview wasn't at all hard. Im usually nervous no matter how prepared I am for them. But this time around, with your help, I wasn't as nervous because your examples were spot on. The interviewer only had us introduced ourselves and go over our resumes. Completely simple, which was great for me. However, I was very much prepared and ready for anything. Thank you forever!💓 & although I didnt use them, I'll be keeping them up as sticky notes on my laptop to help me through my day to day customer service role.

@@sysonic917Heyy!! It was four of us. Me and another woman was dressed formally, the other two weren't. I personally feel that appearance matters. The interviewer has never met you before so your appearance will set the tone of who you are and that you take the meeting seriously.
Group interviews can go one or two ways. Either group exercises or simply to save time. So they interview more than one persons simultaneously.
I was worried that they were gonna do scenarios that prove teamwork as well as individual strengths bc I don't like to be put on the spot, but they didn't. It was a very simple process. However, the notes I took from this video and his other videos sure helped me to feel prepared for the "what ifs". They literally just asked us to briefly scan through our resume and the typical "tell me about yourself" question.
So regardless of how the interview will go, be as prepared as possible so you'll feel confident. Bc at the end of the day your knowledge, confidence and energy is what they're looking for.
As for as the other candidates, I think we all did well.
That being said, set yourself apart by your appearance and put your best foot forward. Goodluck !!! 😊

Be yourself, be positive and smile. Practice your answers in a mirror and then in front of family or friends - this will really help! Project yourself, but do not shout 😊

we basically did an ice breaker and then split into groups and did some collaboration tasks and presented our ideas, then they took us into interview rooms and individually interviewed us for about 30 min - that sounds scary written down but i wasnt as anxious when i was actually there
but i unfortunately didnt get in as i probably didnt contribute as much as i should have lol, however i somehow got into the one that i interviewed for next which wasnt a group interview!

I'm a HR professional...there is a big difference between having a group interview in front of those that work for that company called a " panel interview" something in which u should know before hand and that's not uncommon and perfectly fine....and the second type of group interviews is the one where u interview in front of other candidates...That's A BIG RED FLAG.. especially if u don't see it coming..and u were not told ahead of time..if u go in for a group interview with 20 or 30 other candidates for 1 position as a group...that's demoralizing and unprofessional..RUNNNN from that type of interview..trust me especially if u were not warned ahead of time...who would want to work for a company that treats ppl like that?..if they treat u poorly in the interview process can u imagine if u got hired!!!!..dodge that bullet..u deserve better then that
