as a vans employee, I can definitely tell you that pro models are well worth it. Comfy cush models are cheaply made and do not last at all. Not to mention how off they look compared to the classic look.
they still only last like 3 seconds if you ride bmx or skate.
Vans and Converse looks cheap. Avoid at all cost.

Mi’Zhean Frazier from what I’ve been told, they’re not being discontinued. They’re just being all recalled to come out with a better version. I’m assuming better durability and comfort. This will only apply to all pro classic models.

The vans slip on checkerboard are my favorite everyday sneaker I’ve ever owned and good old Johnny was the inspiration for my pick up, keep up the good work man!
Really love theses fits! I can see myself wearing some of them and even adding my own alterations to the fits. I like theses types of vids a lot helps me widen out my style.

I’m a SB fan been wearing damn near half my life since I’ve discovered them back in ‘05 I’m from Alaska born and raised so we catch up to or make up our own fashion/style (well I did) but this year I I live in Seattle and Vans has caught my eye I’m digging the Old Skool style so I’ve been on this Vans run for a minute, thank you man I subscribed to you just off how professional you are with your videos you’re pretty legit peace and love from the AK keep doing your thing man ✊🏾
One of my fave pairs I own are the white leather sk8 hi’s. I can literally wear them to dress up with a button front and fancy blazer or rock with a hoodie and leather jacket. Honestly it’s hard not to pick them for a fit because of the versatility. I’m very clumsy and can roll my ankle just from walking the wrong way, so high tops are essential to me and I def recommend giving sk8 hi’s a try
have loved vans for years and years but strangely never owned a pair of slip ons....Im stupid for waiting so long...absolutely love them now...only vans I wear at the moment....nice video well done 👌

I occasionally skate (just cruisin/longboarding) and the Pros vans work great for even Mountain Biking. I’ve actually never worn one out. (Instead they usually get trashed before then, from biking. 😂)
I am definitely a Vans Girl. 😎 I prefer them over Converse. Even though Converse are legends as well I just prefer the look and feel of Vans on me. 👌
I work at vans like many people in the comments and I love the skate shoes. I don't skate very much if at all but I love the skate pros.

I ride my bike in Pro’s and wear Anaheim or Vaults casually. My heel can’t even take walking around in regular inline Vans for too long. I had to stop buying them. Once you go Ultracush or Popcush it’s hard to go back.

I saw one of ur vidoes for gum attire, you rock white vans but you had crew socks ( black) in this vidoe you rocked white vans with low no show socks., What do u suggest for shorts at 5inches and white vans for workouts or just everyday outwear??

Yeah I definitely bought the wrong ones. I bought this weird color way that I found at the vans store in the mall and it’s blue with flowers, I should of just gone with basic/classic. I used to have checkerboard slip one though and the checker board sneakers! You look better then every Johnny. You posted this while I was sleeping. I definitely going to go on a spree, school started and I promise I’m as going to cop some of these apparel/attire and I haven’t!

If you want to go a step up over the Pro’s, look into Vans Vault. This year they changed up the whole shape of their shoes, so now they look as close as possible to the old Vans that they used to make in the US 👀

Hey Johnny, this was a really great video. I was actually planning to buy some Vans recently, but I was a bit unsure because of their flat sole which I usually hear only gives like 0.5 inches to your height. I know I'm probably just being really insecure, but I know based on your other video that you can relate to being on the shorter side too. I'm really used to just wearing AF1s, but your video introduced me to the Pro and ComfyCush models and those seem pretty cool with the thicker insole and the foam sole. Do you specifically know how much more height the Pro and ComfyCush model give? Again, I know it's pretty insecure of me but I like my shoes to at least have 1 inch in height because I'm short already.
