UK - Braunton takes "The White Rose" to York, 17th April 2024

Southern Railway rebuilt Bulleid pacific number 34046 "Braunton" headed the final leg of The White Rose private charter from Hereford to York and return, on Wednesday 17th April 2024.
The weather was typical English April weather with wind and showers but, fortunately, intermittent sunshine - which tended to shine at the right moments for a change!
With help from my friend, Tom Evans, we managed several nice locations to the south of York, which we hope you enjoy!

Thank you Tomas. On this private charter train every seat has dining facility. Some seats have better dining than others. The kitchen car is near the middle. The coach (car) immediately behind the loco is for the use of the loco staff. - Andy
