Your ability to just make anything funny is so ridiculous. There are so many different types of standup comedians, but your ability to do it on the fly, responding to things in the news pretty much on the spot, is nuts. Not many standup guys can do that so well, even the ones at the top.
What kills me is they get free medical for life and call us entitled when we have to work for it. I don't think 9/11 was as big of a deal as people play it up to be, it was just a terrorist attack that we allowed to strip ourselves of rights (TSA, etc). But the people who showed up are hero's, and now they are sick because of the materials the government allowed them to use to build those buildings. Don't get me wrong it's sad those people were killed, I'm just aware of the insane number of people who die every die because of poverty, and that's so avoidable I'm a bit numb to terrorist attacks and "mass shootings".
That gym partner stuff is gold. He really hit the nail on the head with reform. There's a lot more to it than that but his heart is definitely in the right place.

I've been following Josh's comedy journey for years and he's grown so much! He's always been insightful, curious, and witty! I love that he makes himself laugh as well and that he's lived life which has contributed to so many amazing stories to tell!

Having followed him for a couple of months now, and catching up on his podcast, I wonder why they had him as a writer and never on screen. Dulce, Ronnie, Roy, come out. They all got time on screen, but not Josh.

Indeed, Josh. My aunt was registered nurse and was in NYC working in emergency on 9/11. My mother and I are in Toronto and it took days to get in touch with her. She told us about the madness and confusion as she and the rest of the staff worked to care for the victims. "And I swear to G-d it took forever to wash off all that white dust," she said. She was dead within a year.

I like so many little things he does for example the way he crack a smile when he's telling a story, then he'll quickly give a straight face then the smile will creep up again ppl always laugh when he does that Then he gets so serious talking about politics for like 10 min straight just to change the subject out of nowhere and it's usually something so out there you gotta laugh your ass off 🤣

Honestly i don’t need to yell laughing at comedians every time. Josh has made me near piss myself, but when he does such intelligent modern commentary mixed with the soft jokes, it’s just as good or even better than when he has those pure jokes that just make you bust your sides
Hey Josh! Great set! I noticed one of the audio channels is flipped. Great for a dipole subwoofer setup ^_^ but hard to hear otherwise. I had to rip the video and flip one of the tracks in Audition to be sure and fix it.
every second of josh's shows are chef's kiss. everytime i try to replay the moment back 10 seconds but it always ends up actually being 30 seconds to hear like 4 words because Josh pauses so long😂
I was once hired by someone who had been to jail to edit his biography. He wrote his story and it really touched me. He wrote his story using the computer in the library because he went to jail before phones and laptops, he had no money for all the new electronic devices and he only knew how to use the old computers. He's African American and he worked in security and as a correctional officer in prison before he went to jail. His partner cheated on him and he shot him in the leg. His partner is alive but disabled. He walks with a cane. He served 7 years in prison, his sentence was shortened. He was released more than 10 years ago. I definitely learned a lot from him especially about when to pick up on early signs before something bad is about to happen and the backstories of his cellmates like this 19 year old who killed someone and was sentenced for life. I also learned about his journey transitioning from hetero to bi in the 80s. It was his first boyfriend and he had trouble being intimate with him as he wasn't ready and the affair hurt him deeply.
