    you will not regret ur purchase, thats im gonna say. ive been riding for 2 yrs and i have 14k miles on it, modded to living hell, tuned, quickshifter, full exhaust system, tail tidy, literally everything and i still dont get bored of it. i did a trackday on it and it was awesome. the engine is bulletproof, i go on 4hr rides on it, does great, commute and it does great. the bike is great, in every single way. dont rush yourself to upgrade, this bike is fun. im 6'3 200 ibs ish and its comfy as hell. good choice bro. reliable, cheap and most importantly it's easy to ride. that my friend is a recipe for a long and safe riding career. ride ur own ride, go to group rides and have fun but do not speed and do stupid shit, ive seen too many people be idiots and it doesnt end well, respect ur machine and most of all respect ur abilities. crashing will happen, its inevitable but dont let that discourage you. get some frame sliders and protection for the bike and you'll be just fine. wish u the best in ur riding journey, its the best hobby my brother and i have gotten into. treat ur machine well and it will treat u well :)

    Great choice! You will love it! I have a 2022 and I love every ride. They ride great. look great and sound beautiful. I don't think you are 'jolty" with your clutch. What I noticed is, it's a high rev'ing engine with HUGE engine breaking and very torqey on throttle-up. You have to get used to really "feathering on" and "feathering off" the throttle. It can almost feel like your putting the breaks on when you drop the throttle, and then feels like you are going pick up the front wheel with very little throttle-up. Once I figured out the "feathering" - then I got a very smooth shift. And then you will love it even more! Have fun! Beautiful bike.

    Just watched your video. I'm from The UK and it's refreshing to see an American rider wearing protective clothing, as many just ride around wearing shorts, resulting in no skin on their bodies if the fall off, not a pretty sight. Just some advice, you're taking it easy and that's good but try not to labour the engine. This won't help when changing gear and stick to lower gears 1,2 3, under 30 mph. Other than that, you're doing great. As for running in the engine, just ride normally. If you go up a hill, don't be too concerned if you're near higher revs, but again just ride normally.

      @SubaruSam25  4 місяці тому

      Wearing gear is something I’m really serious about. It’s hot here in Texas…especially in the summer. But I still never leave the house without my full gear. I have also realized the shifting part and gotten a little better but I appreciate your advice! I will keep that in mind! And hello from the U.S.!

  • @sepakurei

    the reason you are feeling too jolty is due to the low speed you're riding. Speed up a little more especially on higher gear as the gear ratio is getting smaller and smaller from the high gears. As for gear 1 and 2 is meant for "Power" not "Speed", so lower gears have more power that it why you felt the jolty every time. What I can advise you is to clutch out slowly and give a small throttle for smoother transmissions when you're changing to gear 2

    • @SubaruSam25
      @SubaruSam25  5 місяців тому

      Thanks for your advice! I will definitely try that out today and see if I can smoothen it out a little

      Usually use the back brake while riding in lower gears to undue the bumpyness

    You are doing great! And good job getting a 300cc as your bike. It is definitely the best option to start riding bikes. I'm not an expert but I hope I can give you some tips.
    You should put on neutral everytime you need to stop your bike. It is safest and holding the clutch all the time is not good for your bike. It is easier to put on neutral if your bike is moving, so you can stop at first gear, give it a lil throttle and shift to neutral.
    Try to stretch your leg when turning to the left, you will be more confident to make an U turn.
    When on a hill, use first or second gear as they are the best for 'force'.
    In my opinion, you should get better mirrors until you learn how to use it properly. They are very important. (yours are really cool tho)
    I don't recommend going too far away from the roads you already know until you get used to your bike.
    And definitely don't be the guy that just speed on the road and forgets about maintenance. Change your oil, get the best tyres for your bike and look for good fuel. (I don't really know if you have this problem where you live, but in Brazil you need to be careful on where you get fuel.
    (Hope you understand my english and be safe)
    Bons ventos!

      I don't agree with always neutral. You should be alert all the time with first gear because you must be ready to avoid any accidents, for example cars accelerating into you in a stop or a red light

    • @Vespyr_
      @Vespyr_ 3 місяці тому +1

      Stopping in neutral is going to get you in trouble if you need to maneuver suddenly.

      @@SubaruSam25Recommend swapping the throttle tube with the R6s throttle tube, it fits and makes it so you have a shorter motion to open it up in a single wrist motion. The MT-03 throttle has a lot of play.

    wow someone like me but i still dont have the bike lol. What you did? you just went for it and buy it? without much knowledge? in my case i suppose i would be in the same spot, just get one and learn slowly around the neighborhood and parking lot. I have seen so many videos about motorcicles i feel like i can easily ride one, probably have seen more than 200 videos in the last few months. I would like to get one just to get to a job, or maybe weekend drives i bet that must be amazing. slowly driving, no rush, no speed or crazy stuff just chill around.
