hiya john that noise is a raven and cheers for inspiring me to start making my own catapults and I am now a preficeant catapult hunter cheers again john
Cool video, you've got a nice area available to you. I couldn't see in too much detail but your mystery wood looked like Rowan to me - Sorbus aucuparia - Mountain Ash
The cut branches you found looked like Rowan to me, but bit hard to tell from the vid. I just bought one of your Pocket Rocket 2's and looking forward to stalking some rabbits with it. Gonna have to learn how to tie some of those bands on and make me some naturals too I think . Great catty vids mate keep up the good work ; )
Good video mate 3rd from the left at the end looked like a great fork pal.. I havnt been out not been to well but I can't wait to try that new Catty you sent me had a couple shots in me garden and it is very powerful but I need to get out and try it on some feathers. You are a quality shot with that elastic so I'm hoping I'll get used to it. I've just got some new 6mm black very powerful but also very stiff so we will have to see how I get on take care mate. Danny
Hi Gamekeeper, great video! when you showed your slingshot montage and referred to the maximum achievable power I wondered why your bands werent actually tapered, since this increases the speed quite a bit. I havent seen many of your vids, so i dont know, if you already did this some time. If you havent, this is i great idea, i can tell from own experience :) Cheers and good hunting
Were are the dogs you had a back lurcher pup never seen it again ,then the pyed one not seen that in awhile and it never went away with you to the cabin ? Were do they go ????
@illmade2 haha, i used to make naturals all the time, its only the last 12 months i started doing board cuts, its much easier cutting one out than walking up the woods everyday searching lol, have u seen my vid called "unique handmade catapults"? it was one of the first ones i put on, have a look and let me know what you think, my style of catapults has completely changed, john
Hello there....... how long do you leave the forks to dry out, with the tape on them ??? Do you remove the tape before the drying process has finished ??? Do the forks hold their shape well, after the tape has been removed ??? Excellent, intresting vids.

That noise was a lesser spotted frog horse.
I use an ammo belt that's commonly used by hunter, it's like a mix between a fanny pack and a utility belt.
