In the week that D-Day has been celebrated, this seems an appropriate topic. However, and clearly I don't know the answer, I would have thought that it was very unprofessional for a network director to form a liaison with his/her WT operator. Still, fortunately, it didn't dominate the tale which, like a lot of Allbeury's writing, sounds authentic. Thank you for uploading.

Perhaps there should be no easy out of the "just obeying orders" dilemma created by war.
Good story but should have cut out the lovey dovey stuff. Gets in the way.
Intruiging story, but the bullshit philosophy that a person can not love if he didnt get loved as a child is just wrong and damaging, just as rhat a grown woman lets het father dictate hernwhom to love.........
