The vocal techniques and styles which came from that @1300 - 1400 year old chant shaped or influenced much, if not all, the vocal music we listen today, right down to the Classic Rock which runs throughout this entire series. I'm loving this series, which I only recently stumbled upon. I'm even having a chuckle over the 'murcan accents, which sound as Russian as they do Yankee. I can't tell if they're just over-correcting, which is common with accents and new languages, or if they're poking fun at us. Either way, they're fun to hear.
