      Keep practicing and you will get there. If you're not already doing so, follow Robert Simmons. Once you "trust and believe" that power to the rear wheel will keep the motorcycle upright, you will have more confidence to lean the bike.

    Blessings from the Motor City, good job with your u-turns. I was praticing my u-turns every time I would ride until the parking lot that I used was full and I didn't have time to find another one or be late for an appointment. And now our riding season is basically over now, it snowed a little today for Halloween. So now I put my bike in winter storage and will wait until next season. Peace n Love.

    This question isn't on this video..its about..your crash bars and the protection you have installed to protect them from getting Scratched..and looks like it even gives the bike more clearance if you drop it.from ground..is that a Harley product?or after marked..or something you came up with..padding around contact points..? Thank you..FYI..i dropped my new CVO..but before I left dealer..i had installed saddle bag crash bar..and boy am I glad I did..wasnt moving..but nothing on the bike was damaged and nothing got scratched..except crash bars at point of contact..and believe it or not it's pretty hard paint on thoses bars..because it's hard to see the damage..but if you run your fingers over contact area you feel the damage..

    Right turns are a struggle psychologically. Turning left u can get your foot down to catch the bike. Turning right ur foot is hovering over the rear brake so there is less room for error. This is y i feel the rear brake should be on the bars and not the pegs.🤔

    • @RidingandWrenching
      @RidingandWrenching  6 місяців тому

      For me, right (u turns) are more challenging because I don't do them while I'm riding on the streets. All of my I turns are to the left. There should be an advantage going to the right since the kick stand isn't in the way

      Practice turning to full lock while the bike is parked. This will help you understand the body position you need to achieve full lock. The rest is practice. you have to "Trust and Believe" that keeping power to the rear wheel will keep the bike upright (even if you are at full lock).
      If you're not comfortable doing full lock, the keep practice turning as far as you can. You will eventually be able to achieve a full lock.
