While the Q variant we got is on the shorter end of the stick, this V is actually has better specs compared to the indonesian V spec. Indo spec only gets analog gauges, no foglamps, no cruise control, and no captain seats(which if prefer and I know other prefer a bench seat).
My only gripe with this kind of seating arrangement is that when we fold the 3rd row seat, the car is only a 4 seater, instead of the traditional 5. I usually fold the 3rd row because I carry a lot of groceries, water gallons, or sacks of rice. I have 2 children who occupy the 2nd row while wifey and I are in the front. The 5th passenger, either a yaya or a grandparent, will fit fine in our current MPV. Now with this new Zenix, the 5th passenger has nowhere to sit if the 3rd row is folded. Why do you do this, Toyota? Give us the 8-seater Zenix.
Kung for hauling ng mabibigat na gallons of water or sack of rice ang purpose, mas maganda na yung ladder-frame chassis na diesel Innova. Itong Zenix is unibody chassis and purpose is more of people carrier sa pavement road driving.

The flacelifted Turbocharged 2024 Nissan Almera is launching here later in the afternoon. Variants are now trimmed down to 3 because the VE M/T from pre-facelift model has been discontinued from the lineup, meaning the only manual option will be the base EL variant.
Still better than a Fortuner, that's for sure. Ample space for all passengers, ample space for cargo, a height that's easy to get in and off for elderly people. Also the Zenix makes you look like a caring head of the family. 👍
i still go for diesel dahil mas mahaba ang buhay ng diesel engine compare sa gasoline.,front drive cvt talo ka sa akyatan sa mga matatarik na lugar. marami na akong nasubukan na fwd gapang pagong.,unibody pag nagkaroon ng damage tapon mo na o di kaya benta mo sa bote bakal.mas the besty pa rin ang diesel at rear wheel drive malakas at utilitarian.

Imagine cutting away a safety feature just because price was cut by P300k? that's why i've never bought from Toyota PH. They love cutting features for the PH market. Compared to our Asian counterparts, at that price point...hmmm..
Though the price of the Q variant is approx P300,000 higher than the V variant, in the long term, would it be more cost-effective to get the Q variant considering the high cost of fuel/gasoline?
the only thing i would like know is the size in the front seats large like the older 2008 innova v which i have because the 2017 newer innovas even the v type is a lot smaller leg room in the front seat area because im 6ft 3 100 kg lol!!

@@telcobilly They will still sell the diesel rear-wheel drive Innova as the Zenix does not have diesel. Unfortunately, only the standard 4-speed automatics are cheap to replace. The newer ones with more gears are also expensive. The alternatives such as DCT and AMT/AGS are also expensive. I've been reading/hearing about cheaper CVTs especially for subcompacts, maybe because they're quite common now. But I still don't like the feel of CVT.
The V spec Zenix didnt have EV mode, which means its not a electrified vehicel. am i right? if its not a HEV car, i dun think its worth to get V spec in 1.6M, a normal innova is much more cost-effective.
"Theoretically", with that large body frame and size, paired with that 172Hp/205 Nm 2.0 engine specs, this is a gas guzzler. Until someone test it and provide an actual FC, we can safely say that this is indeed a good buy. Other than that, "feature wise", this Zenix is a superb family vehicle. I recommend joining the Zenix Indonesia group to personally verify the actual fuel consumption reported by owners. You'll be amazed to find that the gasoline variant can easily achieve 18-23 km/L on the highway, while in mixed driving conditions, it performs at a similar level (or a little bit better) to the 2.8 diesel variant. It's worth noting that the Zenix's TNGA platform is 170 kg lighter than the 2nd generation Innova, contributing to its fuel efficiency.
they should have made it an 8 seater configuration. how can it be utilized for long vacations when it only becomes a four seater car when the third rows are folded down? just feel masyado maingat un review dito.... baka magalit ba si toyota? not much negatives laid out during the review....hahaha

Its the perfect car for my mom and grandma who need a car to get in easily with captain seats. yes the price may seem steep to some but yet again, niche marker
Innova is supposed to be an MPV for carrying loads and a big family, hence the diesel engine and the bench middle seat. This will be a gas guzzler, especially on long road trips under heavy load w fewer passers. No, thanks.
Zenix is not an Innova, very opposite. Less tourque from 300 to only 188, since it is just a gasoline and not turbo diesel. Not rear wheel drive, it's uni-body instead of body-on-frame, too much features which is only benefits noob drivers. Zenix is more of a Corrola Cross or Rav 4 that become 7 seater. May be they just use the name of innova to sell it. The downside is that they should use a double wishbone or multilink suspension on its rear to have more comportable ride, since this is just a uni-body.
It doesnt need the double wishbone because of the chassis. Plus, the torsion beam in this setup comes with balancer. So, its good enough during cornering and the body roll is not really evident. The comfort during bad roads however a little bit evident but if your roads are really that problematic, then its a bit lesser comfort than multilink or double wishbone counterparts

I currently drive a 2013 1TR 2.0 AT Innova that only has 390 km full tank. This new 2.0 engine with CVT can give 700km in a full tank.
If Toyota values Pinoy talaga, they should know we want Zenix Diesel. Isa pa, hindi practical ang captain seats sa Pinoy family. Pare hehe

This is a different 2.0 gas engine now. Dynamic force engine M20A at mas malakas kumpara sa lumang 1TRFE.
