Those are indeed some pretty good results but here are some tips: First of all try 5 shots at a time, that is enough to show the accuracy of the rifle without entering shooter fatigue because concentrating your eye on a scope for a while requires to take a break for because your 2 eyes see different then Also try learning to aim through a scope but keep both eyes open, this allows for less muscles in your face getting used what also helps with accuracy Also the 4 fundamentals of marksmanship apply to shooting with air rifles The 4 fundamentals of marksmanship are: Having a steady position Knowing how to properly aim breath control and trigger control All of these tips have improved my shooting so much since I started and I’m still working on improving because I believe that your never done learning about this
Hi Chris, I have the 100kt in .22 and my go to pellet is JSB Exact jumbo. I have a Reximex Myth which loves the QYS .177, and I wish they did them in .22. I find using the screw clamp on my MTM Predator stand helps immensely. Lovely rifle and concise video, have a great week 👍👍
I have a hw100 bullpup in .177. My go--to pellet is the Bisley Magnum, I can easily get 14 under a 5p at 50m on the right day. I'm currently thinking about a .22 and even though there are so many great guns in the same price bracket I keep coming back to the idea of another hw100. Fantastic guns, no need to upgrade them at all.
I’ve got the HW100bp in .177 and the HW100T in .22, fantastic guns in terms of accuracy and build quality. Not the lightest of guns, so if you are not a very good shot, you can always bash your quarry to death with it!
I’m on my third hw100 in 22 and they are absolutely outstanding rifles. I always go for the green synthetic stock as it’s a tool and not one for looks and if the stock does get a knock it doesn’t show as a wooden stock would. But my god is it accurate and isn’t pellet fussy but my pellet of choice are Hades. And would I have another…. Hell yeh definitely.
Nothing wrong with that Chris. You’d probably only improve that group if you were on an indoor range.Great guns.I’ve got the HW100T in .177 and just love it. Good honest video as always. Atvb fella👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻😁
This little beauty does not need nothing. The Germans have got everything so right in my book with this gun. I shoot the hw100t and love it.great honest review of a perfect rifle.
Great video Chris. Undoubtedly, the HW 100 is one of the best PCP air rifles ever made. I have fancied one for quite some time, but haven't got round to buying one! As for build quality, well,I have a HW 77 that is well over 30 years old. I have never done a single thing to it in all that time, not even a service, and it still shoots incredibly well! If they still build them like that, there is nothing to worry about. Very best wishes. Philip.
I call bullshit my 1986 beought new aged 16 now the seals, dry up after three years piston seals last a minimum three years seal small two years your full of,shit you say it shoots well barrels last about five years if shot wee
@@notmodeling8070 Thank you for your reply! I can assure you that no BS has been spread by me!! My 77 is in completely original condition, and still shoots incredibly well. Try to have a little faith in people's word, you will find that life is much more enjoyable. Best wishes and a Merry Christmas!
My HW100 was super accurate, almost too easy, but shot count was poor; so it had to go. To be honest I enjoy my much cheaper HW99S more than I ever did the HW100. My first Weihrauch was an HW35 some forty odd years ago. Still have an HW35E and an HW45. Weihrauch make great guns.
A £2 coin is smaller than a rats head so very acceptable at that distance .......... Given time you may find a pellet that tightens the group but you proved that it is a damn good gun for the money :)...... I have one and love it :) .......... Nice demo :)
Nice shooting Chris. I have an HW100 kt and i agree that its only fault is its low shot count. I wonder if Weihrauch will ever update this model with a higher shot count.
Absolutely nothing wrong with that shooting. Only thing that i have found can tighten things up is too use clamp screw on your rest, you'll be amazed how, at distance it helped. Keep up the great work👍👍
I also have the short version but with the thumbhole walnut stock. think it‘s a little lighter than the laminated. My friend had the longer Version and i was shocked about the weight difference between them. I can live with the shotcount and it only takes a few strokes with the pump to refill the small cylinder. It‘s no big deal to buy a second one if you want to use it out in the field. The HW 100 is a Great gun and as good as my Steyr in terms of quality. Awesome shooting my friend and thank you for the work you put into your videos
Morning Chris, lovely gun that, the kind of people making negative comments are probably no better than average Joe, i shot a 11mm hole at 24 yards with HW80 177, 10 shots last week, someone commented, Thats not bad for standing shooting off the shoulder 🤣🤣 obviously i told him im not that good, i cheat and always rest on shooting bag 👍
Hi , bro MARY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR, actually i want to know about your talescope an also how much cost of thise optics. I m from India n here there r many type of airgun scope n defferent deferent prices but all its work same ,example zoom ..same ,Lance same adjustable of uper tuner or what that one is call i don't no but u batter unterstand 😂😂😂n doo much havey wght
That was an interesting vid , all be it a bit short , personally I'd like to see you do a few half hour ones at least .. but like most people , there's other things in life apart from shooting , so your excused .. just this once mind. Anyway , can I make a suggestion ? Could you make sure the rifle you are testing is charged up prior to use , and not teetering above the empty zone , the wiehrauch isn't regulated as such ( note as such ) , so I'm led to believe , I have one , and putting the air in lacks that little " click " that all my other regulated ones have , this means it COULD affect accuracy .. not saying your results were shabby at all , indeed at 45yrds outside ( and unlikely to be totally windless ) they were pretty damn good .. as for the shot count , well , you know what your getting in most cases BEFORE you buy one .. even with the most basic research prior to buying .. and as this is what I see as a predominantly hunting tool , I think 4 mags ( 56 shots ) is quite sufficient , especially with rabbits & squzzers , maybe not so with rats if the perms heavily infested , that said , who wouldn't take there dive bottle with em to a perm anyway ? You could even get a spare and interchange on the go .. ( with the HW100 you just unscrew out , and screw another in , as an option ) the .22 version would give an extra magazine or two in shots I would think .. if you wanted to go down the .22 route ... on the other hand , you may wanna go .20 like I did , and got the HW100T ( not K , T ) few more shots anyway .in .20 , can get around 115 ( 8 mags ~ ish ) on a full charge .. and very accurate .. before it drops off like a lemming .. Basically , what you have there ( stock & barrel options aside ) is a quality built rifle , with excellent magazine cycling from the easiest magazine to load and fit .. superb engineering and mechanics , great feel in use , beautiful stock options , very good accuracy , and as silent as me creeping into bed after ive been on the pi$$ with me mates , and trying not to dusturb the mrs .. good review ..
45 metres, that's a tidy group by any stretch 👍 Imho people who claim to be better than that outdoors tend to take very dainty steps when they pace out the distance to the target 🤣
I've got to admit....thinking of buying one of these....but WAS NOT impressed with the grouping.....why not zero it in properly....if your testing at 45 yards ...then zero it in at that....and find pellets the gun likes....surely if its second hand, its been bedded in and the shop(hopefully)would have checked it all.....some of these reviews annoy me.....that was not a typical review of what this gun can actually do🤬
These guns are not as good as what they say they are. I have a limited edition, HW-100 and it went wrong. With the first shot I took. I Paid £1400 for it to go wrong what a load of rubbish fills very plasticky as well I really would not recommend this gun to no one. Air arms and Daystate blow them away

Nice honest review as usual. Keep up the great work Chris.
Great video and review as usual Chris 👌
Old adage that rings true. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it! As far as shot count goes if you are hunting you ain’t carrying 40+ bunnies away….
Best gun in the world. Totally reliable, best mag,not pellet fussy and accurate what more do you want 👍
Nothing wrong with that Chris. You’d probably only improve that group if you were on an indoor range.Great guns.I’ve got the HW100T in .177 and just love it.

If a gun can be called sexy that certainly can!
KT, BP & BPK all in .22. Awesome bits of kit
Nice rifle. Great review 👍
i brought one of these sometime ago at 50 m with qys super domed .177 i can leave a 1 hole group on a windless day one whole mag
the people that say "you should should shoot pellet on pellet wit that" have never shot pellet on pellet

nice gun mate i really do like them 👍 but i need a lotto win with the amount of nice guns you show that i want

Isn't that why they made HW100T with it's bigger cylinder?
Thank you 😊
Another one of my guns for sale best pellet for that rifle was jsb 13.4 grain for best results
For these test do you wiegh your pellets ? Because You should ! Chrono !as well to see what your slread is fir said riffle ?
Absolutely nothing wrong with that shooting. Only thing that i have found can tighten things up is too use clamp screw on your rest, you'll be amazed how, at distance it helped. Keep up the great work👍👍
I'm not so sure about that. Even i can do better and i'm not good at all.
The hw100 is a very good gun I love mine very accurate
I wish Weihrauch produced a powerful version of HW100 as these airguns have only 41
Looks a lovely gun Chris. I am going to make a enquiry with James at CrackShot 👍
Good man!

Its good . what Pre charge Air rifle would you reccomment for a beginner?
Air Arms s400.
Is this HW100 more or less accureate than the Air arms s510
Less
Nice review, Chris. Weihrauch hw100 or the BSA R12 your honest opinion. 🤔
R12.
GREAT GUN POOR SHOT COUNT
also i get about 130 shots from a fill i ha the 100 t
Chrono for power you need to start chrono the guns

Worst grouping unlike my Daystate Redwolf HP or my Fx Impact
Sad man , aren’t you
