If you wonder who i am. My name is Daniel and im 12 years old. I fix vacuums and i love Cars Planes and Vacuums etc. I have OCD and Anxiety and i have a inspiration from you from making videos along with my Friend. My Inspiration from fixing vacuums was from James Dyson. Ever since i was a baby i use to be over the moon seeing Dysons. Im currently in Secondary School in Year 7 but when i feel upset or alone. I speak to my Best Friend. Then i watch your videos which cheers me up alot. I have been watching your for 4 Years and when i watch your videos i feel happy and calm. Also my dream Job is either to work in Dyson or be a Rolls Royce Engineer or a Technology Teacher. And this is what im like and who i am!

mine didn't have any of those marks, I have a 2021 henry160 and the only obvious signs that they have downed the quality is the cable rewind is louder and sounds like it scrapes more but that being said the cable still comes out without having to pull on it hard at all, the other thing is the when it is operating and you pick it up, the motor makes the sort of sound as if the fan is ever so slightly moving (I hope you know what I mean), another thing is a lot of people say the plastic is thinner than the previous models they made but if you look at an older Henry like a 1990 numatic you can see the light through the bucket as much as you can through a new Henry, while I'm sure they have changed the plastic to I'm sure a cheaper variant it still feels strong and durable, yes the floor head is cheaper by a long way compared to the previous one but from my experience it dose a good job and doesn't seem as bad as some people make it out to be.

Nice video 👍I'm thinking of getting a Herny. I collect vacuums I like to get different brands. My top 3 that I always use are Dyson, Miele and Electrolux. The 2 worst I've had are bissell and Russell hobbs.
I just got this vacuum at Curry's, and it's glorious and it was on sale as well. Unfortunately we were gonna get the xtra but it was out of stock so this was the second best thing.
I got a 2015 Henry but I hated the floor tool it looked so cheap I should of gotten the dc54 hoover but I was so happy to get it anyway 😄
5:29 i think it has scratches because when it was getting manufactured there is a conveyor belt that brings them down to the next station in the factory and probably when they were put on the conveyor belt it scratched the underneath of it. I might be wrong

My 160 floorhead didnt grip at all, got fed up after 5 days and Numatic sent the twin pedal floorhead, also found my slide on brush for the upholstery tool was stiff as crap, fortunately still had the small tools for my old AutoSave which had a nicer brush, so that got slapped on! So far its 3 weeks old and hasnt blown up, so big win!
Very nice! Lucky you got the stiff brush on your stair tool cos mine was soft, older ones were much better
I hate the new 160 floortool as well so got the earlier miele style henry head

The HVR200-22 is awesome!! But I also love the 160s, what do you think of the new floorheads?
They're good vacs aren't they! The floortool is quite rubbish, felt hard to push (not because of the suction) because theres a sharp edge on the soleplate so when pushing forward it catches on the carpet pile, not a very nice tool to use so Numatic is sending me a new metal base Henry style floortool
The HVR200-22 is my favourite Henry model I don't like Henry 160's
@@vacuum_collector26 I think they’re suitable for elderly people as they’re lighter than a older Henry HVR200. That’s why I gave my grandparents my hetty 160 lol
@@TheHenryCollectorExtra if elderly person lived in a flat or bungalow a HVR200 would be fine or they could have an upstairs vac as well like my aunt used to have a Tesco Vac as her upstairs vac but it broke so now she just uses her 2010 Henry HVR200A for upstairs and downstairs

Yeah ours says Xtra and it is about a quarter as powerful as the Henry's we have been using and we have 15 of them in 15 houses.
My Uncles wife has a Hetty 160 that has the big fat roller on the cleaner head

what would you say is a good vacuum for suction.I dont mind wired or even refurbished older model.I have seen good reviews of dyson dc14s.My current cordless vax isnt very good suction for main vacuum.
The DC14 has great suction especially at the hose, older Henrys do as well especially the 1200W ones but the new Henry’s seem to be just as powerful from my experience, as long as you have a good floortool on the henry
My mom bought a Henry xtra from eBay but when we where hoovering it would turn on and off at random times so we returned it and now we’re waiting for the money so we can buy a Henry 160

I bought mine a few months ago and the suction has decreased, and it’s giving out so much air at the back. Any advice?
Check that the filter has the rubber seal around it fitted correctly and that it’s not blocked in the pipes- it’s a very simple vacuum not much can go wrong with the suction
Also make sure there’s no air leaking out the hose connections
If the suction is strong at the tube then the problem is the floortool as these modern ones are quite a bad design for sealing the suction to the floor

I used to have one to but sold it I did not plan on keeping it because I had just refurbished it and there worth a lot of money

I really like the new machines apart from the new floor heads it’s sad to watch them cost cutting again it’s like the early 2000s all over again but every company is the same now ☹️
Even the UDS Henrys were better as they at least were good quality physically
@@parwaz7861 yeah that’s true the accessories and plastics where all still solid just the motors back then. I would still say Henry’s today are still going to outlive most vacuums but they are just not 20 years old reliable like they used to be sadly. I would still buy one for collection purposes to keep nice but definitely wouldn’t use it to replace my everyday hvr200a especially a shame with the new size and onboard storage.
@@kieransvacs4545 I agree, except tbh I think a Dyson cylinder of today would outlive a modern Henry simply because their motors are way more reliable
@@parwaz7861 oh I didn’t know that’s why I said most due to sharks and vax and so on I’m glad to hear dyson are putting good motors in their products the last one I bought was a dc33 brand new a good few years ago and it only lasted 2 years sadly it was well looked after too it put me off dyson due to the price and the fact it didn’t last too long I really like the new small ball though
@@kieransvacs4545 Ah, the DC33 was terrible TBH my neighbour had one from new and it gave them endless problems, replaced with a DC14 now and its perfect. The DC33s had weak motors in them
My Shark lost suction after cleaned checked everything. No way again buy any overpriced battery operated designer crap. Going back old school. Buyiing Henry this time.
Which one is better in ur opinion?
The older ones are much more robust and reliable, however the new 160 is a much nicer design/size so it's hard to say. They both seem to spin the airobrush the same speed though which is amazing considering the newer one uses almost half the energy and accomplishes the same task
@@parwaz7861 I would choose the old one anyday over the new one has so much more pros than cons and the new one has more cons than pros if I bought a Henry 160 I'd probs end up selling it
I'd probably choose the older one if I needed a reliable vac, so far the new one is alright but I've only used it a few times, they're the same vacuum pretty much bar the single speed of the newer one and slightly thicker pre filter, you're more likely to want to get the vacuum out with a 160 than the bigger version which can only be a good thing due to it's light weight

I think the last year to buy them is this year full stop. Nuematic is getting stupid now and there exuse is "it's to help save the enviroment" - come on man, Henrys are meant to be pleasant and enjoyable to unbox and quirky not like your grannys Sebo Felix.
