Great vid, as a generalist I have to say that there is a lot of variety in the day to day job - no two sessions are exactly the same. But I guess with that comes the uncertainty and dealing with that is the toughest part of the job.
Thanks for sharing your perspective Doctor Khalid. Managing medical uncertainty is one of the challenges of general practice. Each clinician will deal with diagnostic uncertainty differently. Tolerance for uncertainty is based on personal experience and risk profile. Self-awareness is key in recognising and managing uncertainty.

Best line I've heard in this debate, considering I also have a controlled addiction of trying to know/learn things and at the same time having one or two things that I've learnt way deeper than any.
I think if your personaity/psychologicalwiring/nature/etc supports/needs you being a leader,
then you become a generalist that knows enough of his/her employees specialized work to be able to communicate with them well enough,
but if your nature is more fit to learning about 1 thing that you enjoy and live and breath everyday without getting bored of it,
then you might want to become a specialist who knows enough about other topics that are connected to your own special interest/expertise,
so then you are going to be able to communicate with the generalists, possibly your boss or client or etc.
I'm too inquisitive.

Despise that we are looked down on, but I have to be true to myself.
People like us struggle to choose a speciality as we are fairly good in all areas

You are high in openness. We have a hard time forming an identity and that’s ok. In the long time horizon you will be much mores successful if you generalize than the ones who specialize. Stay patient
What do you mean by generalised specialist?
Someone who starts out as a generalist but also develops in-depth knowledge over a particular discipline.
Go generalize all life aspects then hire the specialists and let them build your vision for you.
