Amazing performance by Frazer and all as it should be. The other guy "dropping" deadlifts was actually a very interesting tactic.
It is, but at the same time you deactivate your back every rep, which could be counter productive.
The pros of tng is that all the reps after the first one happen with a preactivation of the muscles (obviously, since you have already done one). Probably the best strategy is a tng with a good strategy on when to drop the barbell (which varies for every athlete and his/her fitness level).
I am not trying to coach anyone, just expressing some key points I have noticed.
I am actually really interested in hearing other people opinions about the subject, being an athlete my self.
Just to be clear, the drop and go strategy is a super effective one, widely used, but you have to be really good at activating your back muscle properly every single rep
Fraiser is straight pure fitness inspiration
Fraser*
Eddie Faamaile lolololo Fraser is inspiration of steroids. How to be an elite atlhlete
I’m always amazed that these gyms run all the scrubs at the same time as the best athletes in the game. Can’t they just take 20 mins to focus on the best in the world? It’s as if the Jordan Bulls had to tape practice on the side court at the local Y while the 40+ mens league shuffles all around them. Clear the stage, scro!
Matt, your incredible bro!
Real champion 🏆 Matt 👍 Frazer
The guy in the green appears to saving his back from all the extra movement but overall Mat is a f&cking Beast!! Much respect to him... #proudmemberofCrossfit212 #Mat4crossfitgames2017
Great effort, well done Matt Fraser.
He's the best!!! Pure Beast!
Jeeeebany dobry jest.
Beast
all the videos that do not show the workout scheme are super awesome
not to be a smartass, but shouldnt the clock be visible at all times?
That's only if you are video submitting.
Why does the clock have to be visible for a youtube video lol
I would NEVER do singles on a workout like this. It’s gonna hurt either way lolol
Superb effort by the other athlete but if that was in the games i would suspect alot of those DL`s would be no rep as he was picking the bar up while it was still bouncing and not at rest.
the guy in green reach 50 reps at the second deadlift?
if you hide the 1 in the timeline it is 17:4
Kostas Venizelos holy sht illuminati
yawning before he starts.. lol..
anyone else peep that camron playing in the background?
It's cool to drop weights instead of setting them down.
It's obvious you didn't do this WOD.
Its obvious he hasnt done ANY WOD
So Fraser, or anyone else, is stupid to setting them down? In a recent team of 2 WOD we made 60kg (132 lbs) deadlift, my two team mate drop the weights while I set them down. I think it's not fair, cause is way harder.
I wish LOL again.
"WHAT A FUCKING MESS" ....
Un desastre el camarógrafo
Fraser is an absolute beast no question, to be fair all the elite Crossfit athletes are, but until Crossfit start using an official, Olympic level drug testing program (USADA) then I won't accept these guys are 100% natty, no way!
You know how expensive that is though? If they did that now it would likely bankrupt the sport :/
@@MichaelCronan49 I don't know how expensive it is no, but you're right though, it would be expensive. As for bankrupt, I think it's unlikely as it's a billion dollar brand, majorly hit profits? definitely
@@siheath3648 Who gives a shit?
Great video, but crap rowing technique from both atletes,
Who singles 225?
I'm no expert, but I was doing 10's then 7's, then 5's, then 2's then lastly doing singles for this workout. And this guy is across from one of the best!
Me lol
Someone who had more reps than you in this workout lol
People who don’t want to blow their backs out doing 55 reps
Why not he finished like 50 second after
The guy on the right in green, what the fuck are you doing?
try 55 reps at 225 lmfao
wut do u mean?
😂😂😂😂😢
I need to find him and train with Matt daily... I guarantee I'd beat him in the Crossfit games....
He will be at the games 2018 I guarantee you won't ....
Lol ...
chingos de no-reps en wall balls
what a great female category exercise
