Thank you for this video. Im currently transitionioning to a data analyst from the transportation industry. I watched your other video about data analyst 1.0 and 2.0 and im personally more interested in the data anaylst 2.0 so thank you for providing this information it really helps.
Aewsome content many UA-cam channels dont even address the code interpreter replacing data analyst. But ur take on the data analyst 2.0 is really good.
Also, it woukd be very helpful if you make a video on the possibilities and how actually there can be an increase in the data jobs in the coming AI world. Like a real world example of a company or anything.
Point noted. We have thought about making videos on showcasing how companies use data anaalytics for real life problems but we have so many things going on that it never got prioritized. But I will keep this in mind. thanks.

Hi Hemanand/Dhaval Sir, I am a Manual Tester having Computer Science degree with 2.8 years of overall IT experience from Accenture (my first Company through campus placement), I have resigned now and my last working day was 12th Jan 2024 as I did not learned much skills from my daily work and did not liked the manual functional testing work. I am a data analyst with 6 years of experience. Having good hands-on experience on SQL, SSIS SSAS, PowerBI , data warehousing and data modelling. I had taken a career break in Jan 2023 and now looking for opportunities in the UK region (Looking for VISA sponsored roles). I am not getting a positive response as soon I mention regarding the VISA sponsorship.

Consistency is the king.
I have done a bachelor's in Commerce and worked as an accountant Later I lost interest in those fields and looked into data analyst career. It is very hard to get into this field from any background Unless you have some experience.
I kept learning and kept applying , faced a tonnes of rejections (literally) changed different strategies in applying and finally made it.
So keep on studying and make some practical knowledge by doing many projects. You will definitely become a data analyst.

If you ask me I would say Focus on Power BI as it has a better future compared to Tableau. Python you can learn as an additional skill but many data analyst jobs do not require Python

You have few options in terms of career choices that do not require much coding (1) Data Analyst (2) UX designer (3) Salesforce admin and there are few more. If you like playing with numbers than data analyst is a good career choice. Check video description, we have suitability assessment test that you can take as well. If you are creative, like graphics etc then UX designer is better. If you want to go to generic IT role with salesforce configuration etc then salesforce admin is good.

It is not dying but the competition is too high since the entry barrier is low.
You need to do things to stand out such as having a great project portfolio website, building online credibility and applying for jobs related to our education. For example your chances will be higher as an analyst in healthcare related companies where your educational background has more value.

The expected package in India right now is 6 lakh per annum to 20 lakh per annum for freshers. Now you will be considered a fresher but based on your experience you may get a little extra package. This all depends on the need of an employer and how well you perform during the interview.

It will help you to an extent because if they are looking for say Python data analyst then being a web programmer you know the fundamentals of the programming. SQL is another important skill for data analyst and I assume you will have upper hand there too. Note that many data analyst jobs do not require to have a Python knowledge so if a specific job requires Power BI, Tableau etc then obvious you have to prove your skills in those areas.

You can build BI dashboards for your student's performance and other student analytics. Also build some analytics projects in mechanical engineering domain and add a section in your resume called "Project Experience". Here you can mention all those projects.
