Thank you!! Just started a month ago and made so many mistakes. Just last night I calculated a whole shave transaction and expected to pay just $12 before Extra Bucks, turned into $30. I paid, left embarrassed and mad at myself. I love simple purchases like this to build up my Extra Bucks!🙂
Literally me the other night at Walgreens. Paid 60 bucks out of pocket when it should have been 14 maybe 16 , also super embarrassed and let down BUT I REFUSE TO GIVE UP . It was my first ever coupon trip so that definitely humbled me 😂😅
For the garnier, I tried to double dip with the digital and the printable coupons - and it didn’t work! :( Could you explain to me what digital coupons “double dip” with Sunday paper and/or printable coupons..?
Thank you so much for this! I just started couponing about 2 months ago and I still feel like I have so much to learn! This video was helpful for sure!!
I love how you explain and do Simple transactions. Also, in deciding what to buy and when. I started couponing this year and have saved so much. It would be great if you go make a video on your worksheet that you take with you and how you keep your coupons 🙃
It's so weird how different the CVS sales tax situation is in each state. Just for example, here in TX, if the product I'm buying is $5 and I use $5 ECB to pay for it, I don't pay anything out of pocket even though normally we pay 8.25% sales tax. But I see that prices here are higher than at your store. Those Covergirl eyebrow pencils that you've paid $6.29 are $6.99 here. So they get us one way or another. Lol
You are always going great! Good video. Just a note, yes hold on to your old account. I say that because I closed my old one when I wasn't getting CRTs. The down side is that old account had a huge purchase history which we know affects which CRTs we get.
So I know you talk about your mark down prices and at what price you feel is the right one for certain things and like when you buy them and when your just like eh nah lol so do you think you could do a video on that or a worksheet going over your markdown prices and stuff for different items
Thanks for pointing out that it does take a bit of time to get the Extrabucks balance to really start lowering out of pocket. I was struggling at first because I wasn't getting the good CRTs, and didn't have the Extrabucks to cover the difference. After a couple of months, though, I do have a great ECB balance that I can just keep rolling!
Also I was told that as of January expired coupons would no longer be excepted at CVS, but you haven’t had any issues ? Just asking because this is something that I heard from one of the higher ups at CVS and he said that it could get the employees in trouble and so I was just wondering your take on it.
I haven't heard that, but I definitely don't want anyone getting in trouble. I've checked out with several managers and they all know that some of the coupons are expired.
@@AmyStotts I just tested out my coupon expiration limit yesterday and at my store they take up to 16 days past expiration. After 16 days the register beeps and shows the cashier that the coupon is past expiration. Of course, every store is different. Also, if you don’t feel comfortable using coupons past their expiration it’s best not to do it. Only way to find out is to simply test it out at your local cvs
@@jackiehernandez786 me? I do use expired coupons... In fact, I was one of the first people to mention that it was possible. 😊. To me, cvs knows they allow it... Otherwise, the register wouldn't have that alert at however many days it's expired. I say however many days, because the registers here beep on the 14th day.
@@AmyStotts I’m sorry I meant to comment under Sydney’s post lol 😅 my manager informed me that they keep all manufacture coupons in a box to collect and by the end of the month they send it out. They don’t do it as often so of course whatever coupons get reimbursed from the manufacturer to cvs are mixed expired and recent. I guess that’s why cvs gives us a grace period 🤷🏻♀️
OMG, in PA the ECBs/Carepass do cover tax. I've always done it that way. I think it's the state rather than CVS. Anyway, my original account stinks too. I still get some CRTs but not like my other accounts. I do have to say it's just such a pain because I have 5 accounts and trying to keep your head straight on each one is a job in itself. And you will get awesome ECBs on new accounts just for the heck of it, which is why you got the $2 ECB. They reward those that are new but don't continue to reward those that are spending/shopping week in and week out. Go figure. But I love the savings so it is what it is.
here's a little hope for you...several months ago i stopped getting CRT's---went about 3 weeks...then started gettting them again--AND i started getting the emailed coupons and text coupons after that...so maybe you will too
I started a new account too. I haven’t been getting hardly any crts either. I rarely get half of what I see others on here getting and I haven’t gotten a email one in months. I see people getting like 6/$40 or whatever and I haven’t had one in forever.
When you downloaded Fluz, did they ask you for the last 4 of your s.s.n, the last 4 of your account number, and the amount of a purchase in the last 30 days?????? THANKS!!!! Hope I don’t have identity theft!!!!!! NOT COOL!!!!!!
Thank you for this! I literally just downloaded the app 30 seconds before this video!
Thank you again 🤗

I hate when this happens. I am hoping a breakdown sheet will help me from doing this.

What does CRT mean?
For the garnier, I tried to double dip with the digital and the printable coupons - and it didn’t work! :( Could you explain to me what digital coupons “double dip” with Sunday paper and/or printable coupons..?
You will get random ECB's like that with new accounts! Bonus money!

Hello! I am a newbie!
My coupons don’t always stack 😩

Don’t have CRTs
I didn’t know you were from Mississippi! Me too!
It's like you read my mind about starting couponing at CVS!! I only do it at Walgreens!! So thank you so much!!
Yay! I needed this❤️ Thank you!

I wish I had a video like this when I was first starting out! Wtg, girlie! You explained it all so we'll.
Your crt's for a new account are better than the crap I get
Did you make your breakdown sheet? I would love a copy!
It is possible to unenroll your phone number and start all over ? 😂
Thanks so much for this video! I never scrolled down to see other stores we can make a purchase from!!! You rock! Your daughter is darling!
Great to see you again- thanks for all the deals!!!

My account wasn’t getting crts for about 3-4 months but they did eventually come back.
Y’all are adorable! Thank you for sharing!!
What is your Ibotta Referral code? 😊
I love your spread sheet!!!
Same thing happened to me on my cvs account for the first time
Great haul! Hopefully you start getting crts in your old accounts soon!
How do you switch between your accounts on the cvs app?
Can you do a video With baby products I need diapers. Pleasee 🥰

What happens if you go to a cvs store and you can't get the WiFi or internet to work. This has happened to me many times in different stores.
I have the same problem. I have to go to the front of the store near the door to get things to scan.
What are you going to do with your extrabucks on your older account? 😮
I wish it would tell you your subtotal before you choose what extrabucks to use.
I have been wanting to sign up for Fluz - I just did thanks for your referral code.
Both mine and my bf account aren't getting any crts 😢 for a month now.
Hello Elina! Sorry if I spelled your name incorrectly.
How long are the extra bucks typically good for?
When you downloaded Fluz, did they ask you for the last 4 of your s.s.n, the last 4 of your account number, and the amount of a purchase in the last 30 days?????? THANKS!!!! Hope I don’t have identity theft!!!!!! NOT COOL!!!!!!
Well timed video, I just got an account at CVS last week. 1st trip was great but I only spent $5 of my Carepass reward ☹️
Do you have to have a card
♥️♥️♥️♥️👍
All the CVS stores in my area are in Target. Are they different then a regular CVS store?
Yes, Target only has the cvs pharmacy section. You will not be able to do any cvs coupon deals there
