For the record, anyone who wants gold weapons should just go through bozak or the prison. Spend your time watching a tutorial if you really can’t do it yourself but thats the only guaranteed way to get golds. Play the prison on nightmare using camouflage and and ranged weapon and you can do it literally from survivor 6 if you’re desperate.
If you're going to make a video about looting in the following dlc, you should know that inside first hunting tower you encounter when you start, that chest always guarantees a orange rarity weapon if you're on story mode or normal. On hard and nightmare most of the time it will be purple.
If you're looking for a specific weapon, run to the hunting tower, open the chest and if it's something you don't like, don't pick up the weapon, instead go to the safe zone and sleep until the next day and repeat.

Watch any playthrough of the following dlc and you'll see it. If you look at your map, it's right south of Jasir's farm.
This is advanced my nutshell the prison is your best friend DLC that's where you'll get the gold weapons

The white chest that respawns guns don't always give you riffles, sometimes you get a pistol.
The pistol isn't that bad, it could be made into an even better weapon like the Volcan Combat Pistol etc.
Dude I ran through prison at 11% story completion and spent fuckin 4 hours beating it just to see what it was like
But you can just replay the stuffed turtle for weapons and not have to worry about running around

Yeah its not worth it, the enemies are absolutely brutal and will destroy you when you're low lvl. I recommend at least getting max survival rank before attempting Prison. And if you have Dahlia's cloak potion you can completely skip 2 rooms entirely which makes it much easier to get the max reward.
I got there at 1% completion trying too get loot, oblivious of what might be there, took me 4 hours to, I had to kill everyone meleeing
Gold tier weapons were removed from basic loot pools if I remember correctly, bozak hoard, prison, and night hunter invasions are pretty much the only ways to get them now
Another loot method pretty good imo gives money and lots of resources
There’s some famous movie director you find in a beginning and he wants you to kill zombies for a film but instead of finishing the challenge either die or let the timer run out and repeat n pick up the white packs

Skill trees need to be done while playing those cant be rushed

I have some tips for improving all skill trees. Firstly, Survivor Rank, you can increase your Survivor Rank points by helping NPCs such as completing the Side Quests they give you, helping and protecting NPCs who appear in random places, as well as giving Disaster Relief On-site Packages to the Quartermaster in the tower or you can also give them to Spike. Second Agility Level, you can increase agility points by doing parkour such as jumping over terrain, climbing cars and buildings. Lastly, Power Level, you can increase your power points by fighting infected (zombies) and Rais' thugs.
I use prison to farm guns and ammo, the guns for money and ammo for guns when I started, I struggled killing one but once I did, I manage to last long and made it to the cell room with violtiles
Great content! For me, spent 7 minutes (up until trial 6) on Bozak Horde is still the best way to farm Golden weapons for low levels char.
I wanted to at least try playing the standard game without using the DLCs yet even with the last dlc Dieselpunk chainsaw you're never so OP you don't need a basic skill set. While the Van Crane boomerang seems to be the hands-down favorite, I'm surprised no one has mentioned the free Unturned, Minecraft looking dlc weapons that craft without a base weapon and give a stamina boost
What weapons are those
Gold weapons really do make a difference and some have like 6 repairs
in the following dlc the first hunting tower you find is orange (no like actually it’s the color orange) and has a hard lock, it ALWAYS has an orange weapon.
Normal and Story mode gives you orange weapon, and Hard and Nightmare gives you purple.
This is the type of video I been looking for yes I want to see a video about weapons guide an each type an how to build them and skills to thank you .
I also plan on experimenting with weapon durability in order to try and make a unbreakable legendary machete.

I hate how after a specific survivor/legend level you can't unlock certain weapons past that level
U don't need lvl 20 legend to do prison maybe on solo yes. But all u need is a competent team of at least 2-3 people and who are good at lock picking. Also I recommend u get at least all ur other skill trees at least lvl 20. To take advantage of some useful skills.
couldn't you just increase your stats then constantly keep going to Stuffed Turtle to those two chests in the locked room in the back as they have 2 GRE boxes
2:20 did you just do the camouflage short-application trick? I forgot about that. If you apply camo but stop the animation early you get the camo effect without covering your screen in entrails and zombie grease. Only real gamers know this trick.

Anyone know why the safehouses wouldn't activate in the following whilst I was playing it today?.id turned power on and secured the entrance but it wasn't showing as a green house symbol on the map ,just kept saying secure the entrance and turn on the power even tho it was all done and all the zombies were dead????
In the Following, you'll need to complete the quest called Power to the People. After completing that, you'll be able to activate the safe zones.

Ive never tryd the bozak horde or the prison,are they possible to do on your own,taking into account im not the best gamer and i dont play on hard difficultly.
If you want to do prison you have to play on nightmare, otherwise bozak is very easy even if you have like 3 hours in the game.

I managed to complete the main game and the following which I really enjoyed both.Just got onto the following again recently, played dying light a good few times now,and I always ♥ it.Only other game I played like that is black flag, only assassin creed game I could get on with tbh and I certainly don't like the newer 1s or dying light 2.

You don't need lvl 30+ to do prison bro, if you play on hard and do it in under 15 min you get the guru reward and get gold rarity weapons. I did it myself in about 7 minutes, i thijng that is my record, it's pretty easy, but yes it get kinda boring after 3-4 runs. Just search the world record and watch what they are using and it's pretty straight forward.
exactly, I did prison easily (almost) on nightmare in about 15 minutes and skipped the goon and volatile room with cloak potions and flares at legend level 3

Best way to get orange weapons is to buy them from sellers. Their stock changes every day(ingame, no need to wait entire irl day xD)
Best part is gold weapons don't even spawn in those chests anymore. Gold weapons haven't even spawned in police vans in years. The only way to get them is bozak dockets, prison, and night hunter invasions

This video is completely false, the only gold weapons from looting you'll get are fantasy and on nightmare it's a 1/100 chance for them to spawn from gre chests (on hard it's 1/1000). If you want gold weapons then literally just do prison, it doesn't require high legend level like you said, just resistance boosters, uv flares, cloak potions, a police rifle and semi auto shotgun, and it's not the hardest thing in the world to get them.

The last two enemy’s are literally invincible. I shot fire arrows and electric arrows at them, I threw melee weapons at them, and threw Molotovs.

Best way of getting golden weapons are still Harran's Prison, but it requires a high legendary level, or atleast, an access to semi-automatic shotgun and some boosters.
legend level doesn't really help here unless it's health or stamina, as long as you have 5 points invested in firearm damage that's about everything you'll need besides the obvious resistance boosters, flares and cloak potions

You beat it on hard not on nightmare and I don't think you did it in less than 10 minutes.
