- If you have an unusual ticking sound in your GY6 or Kawasaki Curve rocker assembly and you've checked all the possibilities it may be a good idea to check the camshaft stopper plate for defect or damage. My mc has sound tiktik. And ived tune-up, for 3x but still has sound tiktik. When the mechanics check it. We saw that the rocker arm holder has a problem. The hole in the pin of rocker arm, the hole is more wide than the other side. And it cause sound like tiktik.

What is the purpose of the stopper plate? I see some one-way turning wheel also on the rocker arm. Can't figure it out.

Do you service other brands or just Kawasaki Curves only?
I specialize in Kawasaki Curve and GY6 based scooters but do work on other brands from time to time if my schedule allows. All work at Kcustom Kcurves is by scheduled appointment only which helps me to provide my customers with the best service possible. Admittedly, I'm a little slow but I'm thorough and usually a visit to my workshop is a fun experience.. we have a good time here. lol.. Very different to most workshops. hehehe.
