But he just caused the movie to happen. We learnt in the movie that sentinel and megatron had made a deal on cybertron but the autobots didn't know about it. Tell me, why would shockwave even needed the engine part in the chernobyl scene. He just took it to show the autobots that it was important. He, brought the attention of the engine part to prime. Laser beak is more so a henchman for sound wave. The driller bot is inherently just an animal, obeying orders from his master. Lazerbeak is pure malice, and very calculating, being a worthy asset for both soundwave and the other decepticons. He’s too intelligent to be called a pet.
For me the saving factors of TF movies are visuals, sound and character design, soundtrack, actors. Everything feels apart due to generally retarded writing. And half of the actors look bad in these movies, like I don't think any of them are generally bad actors.. they just seem to get caught in between bad writing.
Say what you want, but i fucking love the design of Shockwave and the Driller design was just okay! I get that Shockwave is a transformer, but i am happy with the idea, that instead of him turning into a vehicle, he uses a giant mechanical murder worm as a vehicle, it is unique ( at least i haven't seen this being done in any other transformers media, that i have come across ), badass and in short, they perfectly complement each other!
Why is nobody mentioning the fact that this is first time we see Optimus hauling that glorious iconic trailer of his in these movies? As a guy, I fangirled hard when I saw that, I cheered with my arms up like my team won the Super Bowl.
Yeah Que made it for prime since the decepticons main big bads had the ability to fly and more fire power which is why he has more options to pick from along with that small jet

You gotta be fucking stupid to believe everything went to shit at 4. They're all visually stunning but 1-2-3 are horribly bad, 4 is Bad but at least it has coherent dialogue, and 5 is as Bad as 1-2-3

Rewatching this movie last summer with my brother made me realize how amazing the Transformers movies are, despite what the internet says. This scene was well done.
Would've really enjoyed seeing Shockwave as the main villain in this movie, he literally had so much potential for that to happen
He should've been in the 4th one. Instead of that bullshit story we got
Movie studio executive fools.
Therefore, causing the autobots to discover about sentinel and therefore causing the revival of sentinel and causing the entire movie to happen.

I love How shockwave cares for the driller so much like Soundwave loves lazerbeak. See cons have feelings.
Souyndwave's biggest problem was other times when deploying Ravage and the cat wouldn't decide if it wanted in or out.

Same. Like they implied it's existence then only used it for like two movies
Yeah Que made it for prime since the decepticons main big bads had the ability to fly and more fire power which is why he has more options to pick from along with that small jet
One of the most visually stunning films ever made!!
Low key. Has anyone ever wondered how hat damn driller decepticon got from Chernobyl russia to Chicago Illinois? Like I know that damn thin can’t fly. And what ship can fit that gigantic thing.
Also don’t say space bridge. This big ass worm wouldn’t work. No way!
It probably just made it's way through the ocean, thing can dig, so it probably moved through the ocean bed
Did you forget that it's a transformer? I wouldn't be surprised if it turned into a B-52 and flew to Chicago
MTNx1DEW DEW probably took a short cut through the earth.
Nicholas Lee actually its a cybotronean animal.
I’ll always love the first 3 Transformers movies. Ever since 4 everything went to shit. But these are just so attractive to the eye. Especially as a kid, you have Transformers toys and then you see these live action fight scenes. It was like a dream come true.
Yea that’s bullshit…the 4th Transformers was good, so what do you mean?
@@Hydrogenelfin404 what?
You gotta be fucking stupid to believe everything went to shit at 4. They're all visually stunning but 1-2-3 are horribly bad, 4 is Bad but at least it has coherent dialogue, and 5 is as Bad as 1-2-3
4th, 5th and the rest are cliche predictable trash compared to the first.trilogy
@@Hydrogenelfin404how old were u when u watched those movies
Ya gotta love how Bay pans away from the soldier falling to his death to zoom on in the desk hitting Shockwave. It’s that type of editing that lets you know what the director truly values in scene.
This shockwave is great, it is genuinely frightening as a deception, I am really a shame how he's wasted in this movie
love how they gave Optimus a sword and shield in the first scene and love the look of it so much they made "medieval knight" his whole thing for the next 2 movies.
Strong enemies who gave our heroes a hard time winning is the reason why this movie is the best among all 5 transformers movies
Shockwave: destroys building
Engineers: wtf I spent many time on that thing
the only crime that shockwave made was not being in the movie longer.

To be honest, as awesome and terrifying Driller is, I feel like he'd be even more terrifying if he actually took up an entire street, including sidewalks!
6:33 just one splinter of that shot from shockwave managed to knocked Optimus really far and caused considerable damage. I can’t even imagine getting hit by that thing at point blank with all of the shot still grouping together. It probably will at least blow optimus in half.
