This will most likely be the only way I watch this movie
This is probably the most entertaining way to experience this film.
yep having a laugh together with comments and reactors over buying tickets to see this in theatres all day😅
kinda like those bad movies that are so bad you need to see why, For me Live action death note via reactions😂
@@Kevin.Costner.idk this was quite the trip in theaters, truly nothing like it
Movie was good, but it truly felt like 16 different people wrote and just smashed it together at the last second
Thank you for your service Natalie. You watched this so we don't have to.
🫡
No it should be us saluting you 😂😂@@NatalieGoldReacts
I love the epilogue from future Natalie before the video even starts lmao
I must say this chick Natalie Gold looks really good, she has a young, pretty, vibrant face.
Her long hair works for her too.
Personally I couldn’t take my eyes off this woman, as she was talking, that’s how much I was mesmerized.
@@seanmiles6991 bruh

Amazon delivers everywhere!
The more I watch it, the more my favorite part is her basically telling the Dr she may be having a mental breakdown and the Dr recommends just watching some movies.
True! And the doctor is clearly an optometrist but is credited as an obgyn in the credits 😅
That actually tracks with real-world experiences. My sister has had both a nurse practitioner and a psychiatrist (at separate times) recommend prayer and reading about Jesus as ways to battle her depression.
Honestly, real. I had persistent cough and shortness of breath, my GP told me it's normal, houses here have always been damp and moldy, it's never killed anyone.
(it probably has absolutely killed someone)
I don't know what's worse, the recommendation or the fact that she listened to it and watched an old movie like it will actually help.
@@brewstopher2233 and she picked an old movie *about having haunting visions of the future*. That'll take her mind off things!
The film does maintain one inscrutable, unsolved mystery: Sony’s reason to rehire “Morbius” co-writers Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless to write another script (along with Claire Parker - no relation to Peter).
This movie isn't even a fraction of Morbius quality lmao
I'm just waiting to see how bad Kraven the Hunter is going to be. 🤣🤣
@@dsfddsghAfter the awesome version of Kraven that we got from the Spider Man game, I don't care how the movie version is going to turn out. I am now waiting for Beyond the Spider Verse.
The answer to this mystery is: money. Bad writers tend to be cheap because nobody else hires them. And Sony is greedy and short-sighted beyond belief.
@@MeesdeFilmliefhebber They have a contract that forces them to make 2 movies with Spider Man characters per year. Or they lose the IP to Disney/Marvel.
Natalie going full Mystery Science Theater 3000 is something I want to see more of.
Count our blessings and we might just be so lucky in the not so distant future. ;-)
Nat having literal spasms from the dialogue is definitely a first :D
to all who have suffered watching 'Madame Web (2024)', your sacrifice will never be forgotten!! 😢
Only the truly strong have watched Madame web and morbius
i liked it
Wasted 2hrs of my time
Hey, I have regal unlimited so I saw this just trying to make the most of it, it was good for a laugh or two (well not when they wanted you to laugh). If I had paid for the movie then yeah, I would be pissed.

This video is so fun, you should start a series dedicated to watching bad movies.
That's kinda Dylan's turf already. But I'd watch that.

It baffles me how, when planning this movie, the higher-ups said "lets get the guys who wrote morbius and a director with no experience to make this move"
... ", what could go wrong ?"
I mean good for them tho lmao
Isn’t that happening bc Sony can have full control over the film and force the team to do this stuff?
very likely just made it to keep the rights
Nothing could have saved this movie, but if the first half was more heavily edited, it would have been better. I spent the first half hour trying not to fall asleep.
Natalie you have saved thousands pain by watching this for them. Remember when you take on responsibility, great power comes. Or something stupid like that.
wait a minute, theres really people who wanted to see this movie?? Damn
Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves
I like how they decided to throw away subtlety and had her say Ben Parker's FULL NAME the first time you see him so you knew it was him. Topic-notch writing, guys.
I really feel sorry for all the actors in this movie, I really do.
Dakota Johnson (Madame Web) had to check into a psychiatric hospital after filming this. Her parents also have a conservatorship over her now. It's kinda funny (albeit embarrassing).
Agree, so many movies have the best actors on the planet and get given a bs script like Driving a sports car in mud/off road just a waste
I thought Dakota Johnson did okay with the script that was given. There was nothing she could have done to make anything work in this film.
@@chaost4544 She was bad...
@@jsmithers. that is so demonstrably untrue lol
The most entertaining thing to come from this film was watching just how annoyed Dakota Johnson was having to do any press junkets to promote this thing. If anyone had any doubt from the trailers how bad this film was going to be; watching Johnson desperately trying to convey any legitimate excitement for the project, and doing her best to just run out the clock so she could leave told you all you needed to know about what was coming.
Didn't want to get slapped like Mark Hamill during The Last Jedi press tour, so she contractually grit and bear it.
@@thatHARVguy No she didn't. She stopped promoting it halfway through the press tour and started bashing and making fun of it. Sony was PISSED because the movie wasn't even out yet.
Dakota Johnson's range is limited and even with good writing I feel like her performance would have fallen flat. She does okay with characters that require her to be somber in tone, but she's not really a great fit for a role in what was supposed to be a dramatic action movie.
“And you know the best thing about the future? It hasn’t happened yet.”
Ron Burgundy: “That doesn’t make sense.”
100% of the time. 🤣🤣
We are all interested in the future, because that is where you and I are going to spend the rest of our lives: The Amazing Griswel
You know what's actually the best thing about the future? It doesn't include a sequel to this movie ;-)
You know the best thing about human freedom is? It hasn't happened yet!
What's makes this even worse is that Sony convinced most actors on this film they were joining the MCU.
No, their stupid agents did that. Hence Dakota Johnson firing hers after the fact. 😂
none of the sony movies are part of the MCU aside from Tom hollands spiderman.
I mean, if we’re talking about the interconnected multiverse, it technically is 🤷🏻♂️
"We have the MCU at home."
The MCU at home:
That's what Fox and entertainment media did when there was bad reactions to Fan4stic.

25:16 - Natalie, I have watched your videos for years. I've loved seeing you laugh at funny movies, cry at sad movies, and fully appreciate the great things that you watch. But seeing you react to a BAD movie is a hilariously awesome change of pace. :D

Atleast the script wasn't that bad
8:24 If she leaves the guy alone, he gets in and drives away and lives.
Instead, she talks to him, delaying him by about 10 seconds - that delay puts him in the path of the truck.
She killed this guy.
Madam Web is the true villain of this story!
Funnily enough, this is the concept of self fulfilling prophecies, If she didn't have the vision then she wouldn't have delayed him and he lives but BECAUSE she saw it then her actions would always result in that future happening. Would have been way more interesting if the film dealt with that, but then, you know, that would have required good writing and we all know Sony doesn't do good writing.
@@SeverityAsured Yep, that scene doesn't make sense in the context of the plot, where her actions otherwise alter/prevent the future.
@@CraftySouthpawit’s like she can reverse time
I LOVE your honesty and evaluation. Thank you.
fun fact, cassie stopping chest compressions after starting them, she would be fired ( or ben might for stopping her) once you start chest compressions you do not stop until a doctor pronounces them dead or they recover....
Nothing about the super-powers being vague, the constantly flash-forwards and fake outs, or the (ultimately) meaningless prophecy about Ezekiel being done in by three super-powered Spider-Women (who we only see for maybe 90 seconds total) is as fantastic or unbelievable as Cassie GETTING ON A PLANE AT THE END OF ACT TWO, FLYING TO PERU, AND BEING BACK IN TIME FOR ACT THREE. And all of this IN 2003 WITH AN APB OUT FOR HER. IN NEW YORK. IN 2003. TWO YEARS AFTER 9/11.
O_o
Terrible movie. Sorry you had to suffer through it, Nat.
That is such a bizarre unforced error because they could have had the Shamman draw her astral form (a power she has) to Peru and covered all the material in an hour with no physical travel.
I think I spent most of this movie literally gasping out of sheer disbelief that human beings wrote this and also approved this.
Glad you watched so I don't have to. Thanks!
Madame Web is definitely one of the movies of 2024
Feeling cheeky, after watching Dune 2 (fantastic), I snuck into another cinema to watch this... I stayed and watched the whole thing as punishment to discourage myself from ever doing that again.
Thanks Nat, your reaction was 10x more entertaining than the movie itself.
Thank God you didn't pay for it
You've punished yourself enough. But if you do anything bad again. Buy morbius in 4k

This movie gives me actual hope, cos if that dialogue and script can be successfully turned into a real movie then you can just do anything.
For real. I wonder if Sony will let me take the reins on their next superhero flick? I think if I tried - I mean, if I REALLY dedicated myself to it - I could make a film just as bad as this one.
I appreciate you and thank you for making content.
Natalie you have become my favorite UA-cam thanks to this!!
Ryan George on Pitch Meeting pointed out that if she hadn't stopped the guy to tell him she had to drive the ambulance he would have left earlier and not been in the accident.
I'm going to need you to get all the way off her back about that.
Yep, that scene makes no sense in the context of the plot where her interference is supposed to alter/prevent the future.
VENOM had the writer from 50 SHADES OF GREY (who is also directing THE LAST DANCE)
MORBIUS had the writers from GODS OF EGYPT (Who are also behind MADAME WEB)

@@tresseidel5672 I don't think they will after these

Why? There’s no reason to watch this movie as it was clear it was just another dump Sony took to keep the Spider-Man ip. A literal *DUMP*. They’ve turned decent, pretty formidable comic book characters (Cassandra Webb, Morbius) with great history into D-Tier level clowns in the publics’ eyes, absolutely destroying their rep to non cb readers.
right? now if anyone EVER makes another madame webb/morbius version it too will carry the stink of the previous 2 movies :/ sony soiled these characters
I loved this reaction! Thank you for your sacrifice. It was a hilarious watch, especially the 8 mile parts

Thank you for taking one for the team. Respect.
Thank you for your service.
The MCU in it's current phase has it's problems but I don't think they've made a film as bad as this. Even the bad Marvel films from the pre Iron Man years were better than this.
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, Ben Affleck's Daredevil
@@crimsonghoul8983 Ghost Rider 2 was post Iron Man and no! Ben Affleck's Daredevil is a guilty pleasure. Directors Cut that is. Even the theatrical cut of Daredevil is still better than Madame Web. Even Ghost Rider 2 is better than Madame Web.

This is also my first time watching Madame Web.
When is gonna be "MORBIN' TIME"?
Watching this high with friends in the theater made it so worth it hahaha
I have always enjoyed your videos because of your honesty and to tell you the truth I was worried because I've seen other reactors pretend that they enjoyed movies that were clearly bad, probably because that's what they expect their viewers to see. Like you, I have been watching content creators crap all over this mess, and in the past I didn't listen to critics but current critics on UA-cam have been saying what I thought of current movies for a few years now. As always, you never disappoint. Thank you for watching what I would never? You are awesome.
By the by, the thumb up is for you, not the dumpster fire.
Love Natalie doing a whole spiel at the end about how it's important to respect people who liked the movie - is there _anyone_ who liked this movie? Not even the people who made it thought it was good!

Ew.
ScreenCrush did a HILARIOUS April Fools video about the greatness of this movie, and it is infinitely more entertaining and better written than the movie itself.

Is the movie near decent? No, probably not even close. But the movie isn't as terrible as people portray it to be. Personally I've enjoyed it at its best
It’s trash (I haven’t seen it)
@@DeadPoolTheMan11 you are right it is trash.
As someone who saw it in theatres... it's pretty bad.. it holds up pretty awfully in both a comic book/superhero movie.. and just like actual cinema itself.
Too many plot holes, not enough direction. Wouldn't recommend watching this, maybe if you were drunk, and it was streaming free on netflix. It's not the worst movie ever, but not even close to being decent
No. It's absolutely horrible. Stop defending slop.
I did go to see this, and I found it enjoyable in a terrible way. Like, it's baffling how bad it is to the point I'd swear they were doing it on purpose. Have I seen worse. Yes, but that's nit really a compliment.
The fact that Dakota Johnson was literally sick still Sony forced her to promote this movie makes this movie even worst
