First off the little cup holder that flips out is for your Copenhagen tin second the cup holders in the perfect spot to blow a/c and keep ur beer cold. First Chevy??
Yes good spot too keep your beer cold and get you a cold DUI, fucking idiot. Just hope u know Dudes at jail with a DUI always get held longer , atleast.
If you don't have the factory trailer break on the 2014+ there is a decent square hole on top of the 4WD and headlight knobs, that is perfect for a can on dip.
Dalton Derrick it is hipster bullshit real country people don’t use em normally well off middle/upper class white people use em driving in there 2015-2018 Chevy-ford lol real country sip moonshine out the jar or Budweiser or bud light or out a red solo cup
@@jacobpatterson1091 "real country people" I hate when people say that. So your not country if u use a yeti? Let me get this straight You're telling that the cup I drink out of determines how country I am? Everyone needs to realise that being country is not materialistic . dont get me wrong. I dont use a yeti, mainly cause i dont have the money. But I do have an RTIC which is the cheaper version of yeti. I use it because it gets hot af in South georgia in summer and i like to keep my sweet tea cold.
So you're worried about the scrubber from the car wash scratching your paint but you have wheels that stick out about 4 inches and throws rocks at your paint? Sounds logical, great looking truck btw I just found that odd
I have a '98 crew and love it. Probably the best platform from gm. Put front buckets in it and a console out of a 88-94 for the better cupholders, or a 99 denali yukon.
Yes, somebody else that has pointed out that bodyline issue on the crew cabs. I thought I was the only one, plus the bodyline continues on the Tahoe and suburbans
Romero also he had it since he was 16 so it wasn’t even graduation money... also he likes it (and I’m sure a lot of people do) so what’s the problem lol
There’s something about an old truck. I’ve had my 03 for over 7 years and it’s been the best pain in the ass thing I’ve ever owned. I couldn’t get rid of it. Way too many memories
Alright, let's talk a bit about how to solve the cupholder problem... It's easy. Get front buckets and then add the 99-06 center console. You get 2 additional cupholders up front and then 2 for the back seats. Also, the flip down console/seatbacks are interchangeable front to back - ie, you can add more functionality to the back seat by swapping in a front seat flip down console. My truck has both of these and they work great. As for the 454 - You're right - They suck on fuel. Swap a Cummins in and problem solved.
Mine has 236k, dents all over it, 4wd grinds, driveline clunks, heater's luke warm, lifters tap. And the only thing I don't like about it is I don't have two.
I like how he said he hates the light bar he put on it and the drum brakes are better because they have more contact patch that's why they use them on semi's
That body line on the cab is just plain weird.. definitely a little oversight that wasn’t caught until the tooling was already done to form that panel I bet
6:50 yes! i had my brakes re-done so many times and they are still soft and i have to pump them on steep hills i have to stop on or when i am towing. I love the crew cab i have an extended cab myself! Why buy a new truck when my ol chevy can still run 85 on the freeway with the rest of em haulin cars and whatever else for much cheaper!
I have that exact truck and the center consol in mine has three in it. Must be an option 🤷🏼♂️ one in the front there’s a cutout for cds and a cutout for a big and small cup. Also there’s a slide out tray for junk and two that pop out in the back. If you didn’t have the bench you would have more cup holders. Lol
Had a 2002 Chevy silverado all done up nice, my first highschool babe. Thought i'd keep it for life but ended up hitting black ice and totaling her, stay safe brother sh*t happens.

Jesse Fryer I have a 95 and couldn’t agree more 😂
Best comment so far. 😆

Shut ur face it’s a joke, fuckass.
Kyle maybe the fact that the average cupholder can't hold your giant hipster thermos speaks more about you than it does GM.
lol if you think yeti cups are a hipster thing you ain’t from the south

I have the same exact truck and no matter what you put in the cupholder, it will always fall out.
Yeah, I love rock crawling in the dunes too.

@@alexh5358 you still got the point
@@Montoya1991 I know but I'm annoying and just letting you know
You can get a disc brakes conversion kit. For like 300$ real easy to do as well
Where can i find that. I got a 99 and ive had enough with drum brakes
If dude had any knowledge to start that'd be fine but fuck when someone else builds your shit for you, you don't mod your own lol
Where is at
And newer seats with cup Holders 😂
What do you do about emergency brake?

Honestly that light bar placement is creative asf I like it too honestly the cleanest placement ever
Man you had me with the car wash brush. Lol. I was like wtf are doing? Don't do it your gonna mess up your paint. 😅👍
Hell yeah! Just subscribed, I remember seeing the truck at the first central IL truck show. 👌🏻
How big was the light bar on that truck I’m planning on doing the same thing with a light bar on my truck just gatta know what size fits
Mine has 236k, dents all over it, 4wd grinds, driveline clunks, heater's luke warm, lifters tap. And the only thing I don't like about it is I don't have two.
I dont blame you
Sounds like the valves need to be adjusted
I like how he said he hates the light bar he put on it and the drum brakes are better because they have more contact patch that's why they use them on semi's
That pumpkin and brake drums are enormous but look tough under that obs.
What year master cylinder did you put on this truck?? I have the same truck and my brakes are some of the worst
Nathaniel Mauldin I’m wondering the same thing
Thing is sharp dude! I wish my K2500 had the 454 instead of the 350
What kind of mounting brackets did you use for the light bar?
I have 98 z71 and I want install 6"lift,how much you spend on yours approx.?
No complaints here. Old GM Trucks are the best! Will NEVER GET RID OF ANY MINE.
Paint that chrome grille black with self etching primer and and rolllbar/chassis paint and throw some discs on the rear n send it
What body style master cylinder is on it?
Anyone else notice this isn't a 2000 3/4 ton chevy
How not?
I was curious about that too
Drew Fisher what is it then?
Drew Fisher it’s a 2000 3/4 ton CLASSIC model. That’s the difference, the OBS didn’t end in 98, only for the 1/2 tons.
Drew Fisher yea it’s at least older than a 98
What your style master cylinder did you use because I have a 1999 Chevy OBS with Mushy breaks
What are the wheels specs on this and what lift did you need to run it
What did you use to undercoat your truck with?
So in 2000 they made the OBS and then the new ones that came out? The rounder ones? Someone inform me plz
Love the vids man!!
What year master cylinder did you put on and what type vehicle my brakes are mushy too
Any rubbing an what size wheels an offset?
Haha the security guard had me rollin. Great video man
I appreciate it!
The brakes will work better if they’re adjusted right. You adjust the drums by just a little bit of drag on the drums when spinning by hand.
I got one of these, but mines a 99 tho. I absolutely love mine I would never sell mine either. One of the best trucks out there for sure👍🏽👍🏽
Make a video of your truck
theboss 1622 maybe🤔🤔
What editing software are you using buddy
Your truck is fire 🔥cant wait tell i finish mine
Put newer body style tow mirrors on it and it'll be 💯
Coming real soon 😎
new style tow mirrors are the shittiest looking mod to do to a truck
What color is your truck really nice when washed
Your mushy breaks are because the brake fluid lines, etc need pumped and possible brake cylinder deal in the engine compartment
how big is that light bar and how did you mount it there
What tint do you have on your truck?
What kind of wheels are those they look badass with your truck
I have an 05 and bought it brand new and it’s still running strong!
👍
That body line on the cab is just plain weird.. definitely a little oversight that wasn’t caught until the tooling was already done to form that panel I bet
Imagine having a nice truck but taking it to a car wash🤦♂️
Nice fender flares where did you get them
Thinking of getting side steps??
I got a 96 chevy burb and I hate those cup holders too literally what u said is exactly what I think every time I use it🤣
What mall do you go rock crawling in the dunes at maybe a little less offset lol😢
What kind of headlights are those?
6:50 yes! i had my brakes re-done so many times and they are still soft and i have to pump them on steep hills i have to stop on or when i am towing. What’s the stock name of the truck looking to get one like this for my first Truck
But can you tow reliably and often with it
Should have thanked that hall monitor for his service
Wat year of chevy master cylinder you used?
How is this 2000 with a obs style build?
What size wheels & tires are those?

what kind of screen you got in that truck??
Legit answers. Do u have a video on the break cylinder swap ?
Use google. Gmt400 gmt800 master cylinder. Only need one adapter for front line and it all bolts in. Takes 20 min tops.
where’d you get your headlights
I bought a disk brake conversion for the rear on mine and it was worth every penny
What would be cool is to retro fit projects on the headlights like the new silverados. Also get those new tow mirrors!!!!
I have a 1995 k1500 and I’m 17 I can’t wait to see what the future holds for it
What size lift and tires and what kind of rims
That "mud" is clearly on the truck before you even left the car wash😂
Get the rear seats from an obs tahoe. Should bolt up. But the console comes with cupholders and a napkin dispenser.
this guy is such a city boy
What’s the name of the paint job on truck?
What fender flares are those
What size motor does yours have ?
Interior door handles?
What's the next mods?

Beautiful truck buddy!
What are those rims and tires??
I thought this body style ended in 1998 cause the silverado and Sierra that came with the lb7 duramax started in 2000
How much would you sell the truck for right now
So my 97 has 4 cup holders up front and 3 in the back.
and gm did not put that light bar on
do bucket seats in front center console comes with 4 cupholders. 2 in front 2 n back
Where did you buy for parts
Where did you get the lift
Badass truck bro love it
I must be missing something because I’m confused he said it’s a 2000 I thought the gmt800 came out in 1999?
Not for the 2500 and 3500 trucks.
Pavment princess, the most off road the truck has been is when it was found with grass growing up around it. But definitely a nice truck
just upgrade to 4 disk brakes or even a big brake kit
There is a disc brake set up for the trucks I have them on mine
is it any good?
That style Silverado is my fave! Only thing I'd like different done on that would be a solid axle.
Same! It’ll have one eventually
Eww…
Whats the paint code on it
I have two 454s. Both 4x4. I get 6-8 mpg in my suburban and 4-6 in my dually
Missouri boy here too, I've got an obs but I want one that's a lot nicer
if the body line continued past the door, you would be reminded how much GM doors sag
Light bar needs to be above tow attachments
