Im 40 now.... But I was in that crowd ...and watching it back still brings shivers. The young crowd might think they got the same at Balado... They didnt! Nothing could come close to that night in Hamilton :0)
19 years old me is in that crowd somewhere! Amazing. Went home with a stress fracture in my foot, still have bother today but it just reminds me of this! No mobile phones in the air either - I just don't get it, do the youth of today think they weren't there unless it is on their damn phones? Ignore the phones & just dance ffs. RIP Keith Flint, thank you for the memories.
am 40 and I was at this performance and saved a very small woman from getting trampled on! grabbed her by the hair as the crowd swayed left, if she wasn't up by the time they went right she would have def been a goner! This really is one of the top festival performances of all time! it was totally bonkers and I will never forget it for many different reasons!
+Andyontherocks That was the thing about it... everyone was going mental... but even all the neds were helping folk if they were about to get trampled.... It was a unique moment in musical time. For folk who were not there, its something that we couldn't ever describe or explain to them. It was special.
Haha I remember that, I was at the front when Keith jumped into the crowd, I managed to grab him briefly! Remember the big ball thing he came out in?! Good memories.
I was there. 20 at the time. It was bat-sh!t mental. An unbelievable day. When Keith came out in the hamster-ball we must have all moved 50m forward. Truly scary, but the BEST of times. RIP Keith.
Yass Alan, I was 21 years young. Right in the middle. What you dont see is the Prodigy, numerous times giving the Scottish crowd much love back. They know, we know! :)
I heard this from my back garden, I was a couple of miles up the road and I could hear them clear as day. Heard most of T in the Park that day, but the Prodigy were the clearest.
holy sh*t,that crowd is fantastic!! nobody scared of broking their phones, cameras and other rubbish, everyone just JUMPS THE F*CK OUT!! yeeeeeaaahhh!!! :D
To think a lot of young fans are in their 40s or even 50s now. 95 doesn't seem that long ago. Damn. 21 to 41 is a lot. I can imagine having parents that were at The Prodigy shows, rock/metal shows. I have yet to go to one and I'm 22. But I will. I'll be that dad that knows so much about video games and computers, loves Metal, Electronic and Hip-Hop music. Fuck my kid(s) is they think I'll be embarrassing them. Not gonna be an old boring man following a boring scheduled life.
+Ice Kold Killa I'm mid 40's and I was in that crowd.... You are 22... I have news for you... Your parent were nutters... in a good way of course. LOL :)
I was there front left. I had no tent just a bum bag full of pills i was invited to sit outside someone's tent and in the morning i remember receiving a round of applause as I made my neighbours laugh all night
by fuck, our generation sure knew how to enjoy ourselves. no phones, no social media just enjoying the moment. Sure beats Trnsmt or what ever they call that shit excuse for a "music festival" 🤣🤣
I nearly got crushed to death crowdsurfing coz everycunt missed me , i elbow dropped the grass and got stamped on a few times , for the love of snowballs and doves 😂😂
Outstanding day all round. A real sense of danger in the air when Prodigy came on and they were at the top of their game. Amazing memories.
RIP, Keith. I can say I saw this and I was there. That means a lot to me. 😔
Grant Muir very well said my friend
It was the wildest thing I've ever been involved in , fucking loved it 😊❤
R.I.P. Keith. One of the best prodigy gigs I went to.
