When I was a student at The King's College in Briarcliff Manor, NY from 1981-1983, I and a few other students would "steal away" a few Sunday mornings and drive to Brooklyn, NY and attend services at Pilgrim. They were SO anointed. I'm glad I always brought my cassette stereo tape recorder. Every time I heard them in person or on their broadcasts, I left with new songs to teach the choirs I directed - EVERYTIME! (even this video too)
This brings back so many memories stop... Glad to have met Bishop Brown and he was a big influence in my life. Pilgrim Academy Pilgrim Church... Thank you all so much
1985... Yes I remember Pilgrim Church and the Academy... 600 Central Avenue and Halsey, we used to call Him PB. That booming voice, yes sir. Thank you for the whooping Archbishop Brown. (Tough love) Love you guys. Bishop Hough
Yes.... the good ol days! PB (Pastor Brown) would enter a noisy room full of people.... and say with that Deep Voice 🗣 "PEACE" ....... and you could hear a pin drop!!! Very integral years
This bring me to tears. I remember my mom being in the choir and my cousin and I in the temple dancers. (I'm the little one in the front row with those tight curls on the back lol )Brings me back to my childhood. I miss this so much. Glad I can see it all over again.
Thank you for posting this it touched my heart to be able to see my grandmother, aunt and Bishop one last time. May they continue to rest in glory with our Lord.
Thank you for sharing this Sis. May Bishop and all the Angels 👼 that has gone to be with the Lord SLeep in Eternal Peace. I miss them all.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
It has been some years, did you go to Pilgrim Academy... Somewhere about 1985. Deborah Crowe and Barbara used to work in the office, Mrs Montgomery was the principal
Wow was this an actual Sunday morning service at Pilgrim Church (the local pilgrim church in Brooklyn ) or was this the Pilgrim Assemblies Convocation? I miss church like that
@Shirley Dee Jenkins you feel???? Your feeling do not trump the Bible which clearly disqualified him as a Bishop. Amazing that people love the Word until it goes against their feelings.
@theJBfactory. You clearly don't understand scripture beyond what your pastor or Bishop with their lack of understanding. In the first century church there were men who had multiple wives at the same time. The Bishop was only allowed to have one wife because he would not have had time nor finance to tend to the church if he was providing for more than one family. Bishop Brown was married to each wife separately. He did not practice polygamy. In fact, one of his wives died before he got remarried. Please keep your irrelevant comments to yourself the man is dead now. If you wouldn't say it to his face don't say it now.
@@jameilsanders1492 I guess you clearly don’t understand that the same book says getting a divorce and remarrying makes you an adulterer unless you divorced f because of adultery. According this, he was also an adulterer being married multiple times. How many times do you want to go round and round?
That was church lord I miss those days at pilgrim
