Yeah, Nole and Rafa at RG - what do you think?
It's hard to rule out Novak. He's not my favourite player, but you can't ignore him. If Rog was all grace and Rafa all brutality, then Novak is all mental. I've never known a player against whom you could have a match point and still have a long way from winning. And he won't be happy with himself going into RG either, so if his head is in the right place, his game will be too.
But none of that matters - not even who wins - because this RG will be all about Rafa. His last RG. 14-time champion. That's as many as Sampras had in his entire career. Think on that. It's the end of an era the likes of which will never be seen again imho, and I hope he does his final campaign justice.
Verdasco said once: "The problem with Rafa is that you have to win every point four times. This is the player I hope to see at RG this year... even if it's just for one round. Rog was always my favourite but I have the utmost respect for Rafa.
Vamos, El Toro. There is still one great match left in you...

Djokovic needs more matches and there are other things going on but his loss against Tabilo is a pretty straight forward problem - he has a concussion! He had no balance and his stating that he didn’t even feel like himself - is a concussion! Who cleared him to play?

having too much respect for greatness is never a good thing- champions step up and take it, whenever they get the chance.... waiting for the champ to get hurt or old is a cop out(Rafa, Novak and Roger ALL just stepped up)... there's that lost generation after Chris and Martina before Steffi- Steffi's a champ and said- 'fine- I'm ready- get out of my way'. Robert Lansdorf said it best- "The bigger the bitch- the better the Champion!"

Novac fans are in denial. There is no argument that he is one of the best male players that has graced the court. We have to accept that he is getting older and the young players are getting better.
