Would the ability Serene Grace apply to Fickle Beam? If it does, a skill-swap/entrainment doubles match would be fun to watch.

Jirachi is a mythical Pokémon. Mythicals are banned from VGC

Fickle beam is insane. It's basically just a dragon pulse that pretty often becomes a stronger draco meteor with no drawbacks. Crazy move. Also yeah, metagross actually has little toothies underneath his rim. It's pretty neat that it can actually learn psychic fangs, especially since the best stab it had before was zen headbutt
Metagross having options aside from meteor mash and Zen hedbutt now is awesome
@@cantdestroyher7245 most sets are probably still going to run meteor mash just to get the extra attack boosts and it having 10 more base power than iron head, although I could see hard press being run in a few cheeky wall breaking sets. It will be very interesting to see just what metagross can do
Fickle Beam if it procs the "All Out Attack" is basically an Eternabeam with Drawbacks
In the defense of Fickle Beam, the 30% is just extra damage. Sure, its double, but relatively tame versus the 30% chances that terrorized earlier generations. Iron Head, Rock Slide, Body Slam, and who could forget Scald?
This is easily my favorite new pokemon of the dlc but honestly this is becoming one of my favorite Pokemon of the whole series a hydra Apple is just such a badass idea

You should try hydrapple in a duals match. I’ve been running him next to malamar with contrary ability. Malamar gets access to skill swap so Hydrapple can get contrary and when malamar switches to super sweet syrup, it lowers the opp evasiveness again. Since hydrapple now has contrary, you can use the moves Draco meteor and leaf storm, which will sharply raise special attack instead of lowering it. This build is crazy fun!!

With Achaludon in the game Duruladon now can hold an eviolite. He already had crazy good states and now they are even better!
I think the issue is that Duruladon has good bulk with Eviolite but nothing really to do with it. It has no recovery outside of Rest and mediocre offense, coverage, or utility.
@@IronDino i disagree. in VGC he is great. his move pool is HUGE. gets snarl, draco meteor, flash canon, T-Bolt, screens, he 's great on Trick Room teams, and can learn solar beam if you choose to splash him on a sun team. With a base 120 SpAtk he hits hard and now wont die. I personally like running protect, steel beam, Draco Meteor and snarl. It's great utility and he murders most things.
Even with eviolite the special defense is not going to be enough to survive an earth power or even a neutral damage special move from a sweeper. It does give it better bulk, but dipplin makes way better use of eviolite with that base 110 def and 80 spec def without having to be afraid of knock off thanks to sticky hold

I've been using Hydrapple on Showdown, it's absolutely eating attacks and nuking afterwards with a Specs boosted Fickle Beam or Giga Drain

That Tera Starstorm changes type like Tera Blast, so it's an unresisted move (cause it's Stella Tera). I dunno if you can change Terapagos's Tera type or not but it would be pretty cool if you could and use it to fire off effectively 180bp move of your choice
I think Terapagos’ form is like Ogerpon, they’re locked to their specific Tera type

I like to run Hydrapple and Malamar in doubles, trick room and skill swap Malamar with contrary to Hydrapple with leaf storm and Draco meteor is busted if you can set it up.

It's actually a golden apple. Hydrapple is based off of Ladon, a multi-headed dragon in Greek myth that guards a tree of golden apples in the Garden of Hesperides. Interestingly enough, the Garden of Hesperides can be seen as inspired by the biblical Garden of Eden, which so much of SV's lore is based off of.

Small correction, Haydunn. Bulwark is not 100% like Protect or Baneful Bunker. It's actually Silk Trap, but burns. Status moves will still go through it.

Okay hear me Hayber. Tera fire Zebstrika with with volt switch and wild charge. Then I'm thinking high horsepower and tera blast or overheat. Overheat could do some big damage but of you got choice band or something terablast could pop off. Also I'm thinking that volt switch could trick people into thinking your specs and maybe bait in a special wall and throw them
Maybe cause I haven't finished that part of the DLC yet but I have literally no idea what the deal with this turtle's tera situation.

Turn 1 Tera on the turtle is a rookie mistake. Sure the turtle isn’t good offensively but you take any attack for not very effective damage. That should be used to set up.
