I think it's very impressive. Anything doing 100kmph in less than 12 sec. is pretty fast. They say it is underpowered but I guess it's just slower than the competition but not at all underpowered. Plus, a normal user doesn't race like this with fellow i20 and Baleno owners.
The steering, suspension, gear ratios are slightly tuned, As this engine is turbocharged, definitely there is a slight tune with gear ratio and ECU sir !
Just curious: Since its a turbo charged engine dose it make that classic turbo "Stu tu tu tu" sound when you take off your foot from accelerator after flooring it.
@@harshaokin8064 actually no Blow off valve is there to prevent that flutter sound by releasing the pressurized air. That flutter is due to the high pressure air going back to the turbo fan in case engine is not able to intake so much air in certain situations like when driver suddenly took their foot off the accelerator. In that case the high pressure air has no where to go and turbo keeps pumping more air and this causes the flutter sound, it also damages the turbo in long run as it causes huge stress on turbo fan blades. The blow off valve senses this excess buildup of pressure and release the air back into the atmosphere reducing the strain on turbo fan. Take a test drive and then decide which one you liked. Altroz doesn't have any automatic, both cars ground clearance, stability, all driving dynamics are different because different type of car. Engine is same. Choice is your.
I own Altroz XE rhythm far better than XE.... Rhythm comes with a superb..... Superb.... and superb speakers by harman.... and very Silent if we close windows and turn on the music... You r in a perfect comfy car... Thr only problem is lack in Initial but superb after that.... The Intial problem will be solved by updates
At the very end of every rev, there is a sound like silencer is not tightly attached. Is that sound normal ?..like after end of every rev the sound is like the silencer is shaking ..turbo like sound

Did they keep the same gear ratios for this iturbo variant as well? IIRC, in 5th gear at about 5000rpm, the altroz NA does about, 170ish kmph.
