To those commenting negatively or joking on Edward's appearance (or Michael being slower than 4 decades ago), you honestly have zero idea what people have been through in their lifetime and the hardship someone's had to lift themselves out of and get themselves back on track - with a bit of searching and reading hopefully you'll also learn + respect how Edward has spent the last few years fighting his way out of 2.5 decades of his life being a blurred confused nightmare, the effort it must've taken to mentally push, decide and work to make changes for the better, resist temptations of slipping back into alcohol and/or other substances every day while staying sober, losing weight, dental work, etc... to the point where we can be treated to this kind of event - us fans who grew up with these movies and actors should be thankful and amazed at the opportunity to have all 3 of these legends in a panel together. Thanks for sharing this video
Saw this before I even watched. I can't believe you had to say this Paul/thanks for saying this Paul. These are real people and comments have a real impact.
Biehn had a couple of strokes, fought alcohol. The man is tough. Furlong’s battle with heroin is well documented. People rush to judgment but well said that we can’t know what people go through in their lives…
Furlong actually looks pretty good compared to last decade... looking pretty healthy and in better spirits. Such a talented actor he needs a rebrand. I hope he gets to be part of a new franchise and can wiggle away from the Terminator comic con scene he deserves better
Well said Paul. For us 70s, 80s and 90s kids, there will always be a warmth and comfort that comes from these media texts that take us back to the sunny joy of our childhoods and formative years.
@@Paka1983 It’s contextual, Edward is in fairly decent shape physically and clear-headed, which stands in stark contrast to where he has been in the past. You can think what you like but at least have the human decency to show some compassion before talking out of your ass.
Absolutely great to see Edward doing so well. There’s a video on YT of him going to get a lot of dental work a few months ago and it’s a pretty fun & heartwarming video. 😊
Michael Biehn hasn't changed much from T1 and looks fantastic for someone in his late 60s. Every cast of T1 and T2 appears to have respect to each other, and they are still having good relationship. I wish Jim Cameron, Arnie and the T1/2 family can reunite and make another film.
Michael suffered severe alcohol addiction which was so bad it derailed his movie career, which is why he's only in a few big films. So with this in consideration, the human body is quite resilient as he looks decent.
Would be amazing seeing the trio do another film now, a good one, for old time's sake. Yes we didn't have them truly all three in the same film but absolutely in spirit, but technically in T2 if counting the deleted scene with Michael's ghost of course. You know what, they were all in T2, let's keep it simple.
I'd honestly love to see Michael and Linda work together again in something - such great chemistry. I'd also love to see Michael get Linda on his podcast.
I'd love to see a low budget indie movie that has Ed play a recovering addict and ex con who visits his mother in a psych ward. They couldn't explicitly state it but it would be cool if they hinted that this was an alternate universe where Sarah Connor was really just crazy and nearly ruined her son's life by going on a terrorism spree blowing up corporate buildings and a metalworks.
The success of "The Terminator" was that the movie understood how an intelligent machine would act. Many "cyborg" movies came out after that, and those movies always think it's the leather jackets, spiky hair, frowny face that makes a robot.
Yeah the t800 in the first movie really was more of a horror antagonist than Sci fi one, just so methodical and relentless. One of the red letter media guys once criticised him using a telephone book and payphone. But that's exactly what they would do, utilise the technology of the day to track down its targets.
The Terminator (original) will forever be my favorite. T2 is great, but doesn't have the same feel and atmosphere to it. My english is shaky at best so I don't know how to explain it better.
My mind was blown when he said the family is together. Never thought consciously about Michael and Eddie that way. Obviously knew the connection, just saying.
I got both Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) and Terminator Salvation (2009) in 3D Blu-Ray! These two movies are awesome in their 3D effects, as good if not better as any of the great 3D movies I own! I had to order Terminator: 2 Judgement Day from the UK, it's a UK release only! One of the best investments I ever made was buying a multi-regional 3D Blu-Ray Player. Most of the 3D Bu-Ray movies made today are made overseas for different playing regions.

Michael Biehn was a great actor, he deserved better oportunities in his career, but we already know how fckd up is Hollywood if you don't play their game. God bless you Michael and Edward Furlong needed more support and help to get away from his addictions and bad choises in life, god bless him too. Like Carl Weathers, he came up in that time where it was Arnold and Sylvester then everyone else. Then later on action films leaned more towards "martial arts" from the 2nd tier guys. He had a good career though.
I was so happy to meet Michael Biehn a few years ago, and I'd love to meet the other 2! I'd especially love to meet Linda because we share the same birthday (9/26)! 😊
look at all these children of the 80s, they might be a little obese or bald or grey haired but they are still so happy to ask their heroes questions they always wanted to ask
12:39 "didn't know when it came out that it would all these years later bloom into such a huge franchise" I think the word you were looking for is bad.
What comes to mind is the mechanical music theme of T1. That, and the scenes where you look through the eyes of the terminator just makes you part of the movie. You ARE the terminator yourself and you understand how relentless you will be. But at the same time you are drawn towards the human aspect of Linda and Michael because they play their parts with verve. You as a watcher have a constant internal battle too because both sides are portrayed excellent. You are switching sides during the movie constantly. Compare this to almost every other movie. The antagonist just doesn't get to you on the same level (except face/off off course 😀).
Eddie is looking great and healthy I'm so happy for him and he's putting work in I really hope he starts getting the best roles he's really a phenomenal actor especially with drama
lol with the hardest scene shot in my career I'd be like, " there was this guy always dressed up in green in my shot, and I would have to push him out of the way. The director kept calling cut and telling me to leave him be and I was like , but he's in the shot I don't understand why this random guy is here?" lol
The first Terminator was a sci-fi/ Thriller film, like a Halloween movie with a robot instead. Somehow it presents a tragic vision of the near future, and then it begins to create a cultural myth.
They totally need to just make a direct sequel to T2 and use all 3 in some capacity. I know Kyle Reese dies, but it would be cool if somehow he was inside his son's head helping him narrate decisions or something creative and outside the box for the franchise itself. I'd love to see Edward Furlong get cut in the gym and play the battle-hardened John Connor. Perhaps they could work in an inter-universe way where sending back a t800 to save his dad so he could live in the original, or accidentally saving his father in another universe could work somehow.
I'm pissed they killed of John Connor, why couldn't the rest of the movie focus on the future wars. Terminator Salvation was not bad, it was exciting to see a terminator movie take place in the dystopian future.
Terminator 1 and 2 are two of the best films ever made.
God I love em

Before The Terminator 1984 there was a movie "Westworld" what could have brought James Cameron from creating the movie.
