Best case scenario - you sprayed the correct amount of coats and peeling your dip is easy. However if you’re facing some thin dip - nothing works faster than Dip Dissolver.

Bought some used wheels that were already dipped. Spent a very long time trying to peel the dip off by hand. Gave up after getting most of one wheel done. Thanks for the vid, those wheels have just been sitting in the corner of my garage forever, nice decoration but they would definitely look better on my car haha

Thank you for this video. I just picked up some new rims cheap because the previous owner gave up trying to get a bad dip off of them. A little dip dissolver and I've got a second set of four OEM Lexus rims for $40 all in.

First off, I read some replies and tried to use some other things in the garage. They sorta worked, but had to use harsh chemicals and it took hours. Not only that, but it didn't even take it all off. After 2 weekends of waisting my time on just 2 wheels, I decided to give in and try this spray. OMG.. Followed directions and within less than 10 minutes my wheels look like new. This stuff absolutely works. I didn't spray enough plasti DIP on my wheels and it was hell to get off. Don't waist your time on stuff in your garage. Buy this and use your precious time doing something more meaningful. Thank you providing this info and product. Oh, and to top it all off, I sprayed it on the 2 other wheels to remove the stubborn leftover dip that couldn't be removed by other chemicals.. Very happy day.

I'm always hesitant to buy things I see in videos but it Worked great just like in the video. Had wheels that were peeling from a 2009 and the spray with a power washer at the car wash worked great took two applications and lucky me 3 of 4 Wheels were protected by the dip coating and they look nearly brand new underneath. If there's a way I would give 5 stars recommendation.

Just got a bottle and am going to try this tonight. Weird thing is that the dip on my wheels is definitely thick enough, the consistency is the problem - when I try to peel it the dip feels almost gummy and doesn't want to hold onto itself as a sheet to peel

This is funny if you think about it. Hey listened to their customers and created another product to capitalize off of peoples stupidity on failure to properly fallow instructions.
I personally love plastidip. Ive had it on my wheels for 4 years already. Gone through mud to the hub, gravel roads, tall weeds and 70,000miles in Texas heat. Best most ruggid investment ive made to cover the already destroyed factory wheels.

I want to plasti-dip my wheels and emblems but I'm planning on selling the car in a few years. Would it still come off as easily after it's been on for a few years? You only had it on for six months.

How do you remove regularly sprayed plasti dip? Or very thick dip? Is it goin to work??

Around the wheel nuts it looks like it doesn’t work. With my wheels those small spots are a disaster to release plasti dip. Good ideas or hacks are welcome.

Ok I put 5 coats of plasti dip and two coats of 2k clear coat on my rims and I had to install new tires and a tire shop scratched up my plastic dip so I have to redo them last weekend I’ll try to touch up the rims on three of them and it looks like crap so all I had time for was to peel off one which took me over an hour and re-sprayed it and clearcoat it. Will alcohol work better or brake cleaner with the clear coat
