The part with Amy Winehouse felt kinda disrespectful. Was it really necessary to talk about what a mess she was at her last concert? Couldn’t they just said something nice about her literaly when her family and friends were dealing with the loss? Just sad.

    • @LiveLoveLaugh102310

Doubtfully so. It doesn’t excuse talking about her in such a disrespectful way right when you announce her death.
      Inexcusable

@@Grandmaster_Dragonborn Lol I'm not judging her. I'm merely stating facts. She was an addict who refused to get the help she needed. Simple as that. You can't diminish the cause when the consequence is staring you right in the face.

Is it a fact you know every single little detail about what she went through?
No, it’s not. People refusing help is a tale as old as time and it’s done for so many reasons, so unless you know why she did it, try not to criticise.

Yea it was so sad. I ran into my friends work which was a bar on my way home from my work, a different bar. He showed me the headline. It didn't say died or dead but COMMITED SUICIDE. That was just, well damn. If this dude who beat his addictions, was loved and literally one of the funniest and also classiest people couldn't get out of it and offs himself what chance does a loser douche bag like me have? Then I had to call my son's mom(baby mama...she's above a girlfriend ) that was really sad. I told her, she was quiet, I figured she was doing her usual deal of being distracted by a bird flying by or a cloud moving or whatever seems to take up her attention when I try talking to her, when I was about to raise my voice and tell her to listen to what happened she was just bawling into the phone. She was really upset. Celebrities dying don't get to me or her really but James Gandolfini really upset me and she called me at work to let me know..

I remember MJ's death news so vividly. It was early in the morning, my father turned the TV on from the bed and screamed to my mom, who was in the kitchen, “Michael Jackson just died!”. I was seven and didn't even know who he was at the time, but it really shocked me. People's pain was immense.
MJ's and Lady Di's deaths made a mark on me as a kid (I found an illustrated biographical book of Diana at the supermarket, so every time I'd go there, I'd sit on the floor and read it, and eventually my parents bought it for me).
Despite Michael Jackson's reputation, both of them seemed like genuinely kind-hearted people to me. I remember thinking I wanted to be as kind as them when I grew up
