Love these kinds of videos. I always like to see how others build their squads and armies up. Thanks for this, Mark!
Thank you Josh 😁👍
A good look at how to build an army for Bolt Action...great video.
Nice force you got there, and 2 panthers and a stug for suport.
Thank you. It works well as I love panthers a stugs 😁👍
I like the idea of using ammo carrier model as a medic. Good job.
Thanks Ken 😁 👍
Great job, building the lists is one of the things I like most about gaming I have realised!
Thanks Dom 😁👍
Pumped to hear my name on the vid! Had the family gather round and replayed it. Keep up the great work.
Thank you and it was a pleasure because you got me a coffee, so a very big thank you for that. 😁👍
Enjoyed watching that. Your army looks cool and love the fact you are old school pen and paper armylist. I still do that
Thanks Richard, I have tried online list building but yes you can't beat the good old pen and paper 😁👍
Great looking figures and details!
Thank you 👍
@@kitchenwargamers4141 you're welcome

Thank you mate that's who hopefully help out 😁👍
again awesome video, very useful
Glad I can help in anyway. Thanks mate 👍
Very interesting video
Thanks mate 😁👍hope you enjoyed it
Great video, so helpful to us newbies to have the basics explained. You’ll have to do a newbies guide, battle report too, explaining the rules as you go. Thanks as always👏👏
As always thank you Chris and I will aim to do a beginners game soon 😁👍
Splendid army, many beautiful figures here, love the medic and the mortar vignette....
Thanks Phil 😁👍
Love this! Really helpful video.
Thank you 😁👍
Great video for beginners, there wasn't an awful lot of this type of video when I started out collecting 👍
Thank you so much Andrew 😁👍
Good looking models. Appreciate the info, it's a big help getting into the game.
Thank you so much James. Glad I can help getting in to this fantastic game. Thank you 😁👍
Some sound advice there. For ease of building an army you can use easy army for Bolt action lists. It is free to use and is mostly accurate.
Thank you Marc, and I was going to mention the online list building but as normal I always forget something 😁👍
Getting ready to do my 2nd 2 on 2 player game tomorrow/Sunday. And was thinking of bringing out a Vet 1st Lt with 1 assistant for the small team to hit bonus, then 2 10 man Vet Panzer Grenadiers with 2 Panzerfaust and a MG-42 teams each with the rest sporting between 4-5 Stg-44's, 3-4 MP-40 SMG's and the rest rifles. then maybe another Grenadier squad but regulars with the same break down except having a few more MP-40's over Stg-44's. Then a Regular medium mortar with spotter and then a Vet SD Kfz 234/2 Puma and finally a regular SD Kfz 166/Brummbar. I really do think the 1, 2 punch of mortar and Brummbar would decimate any large number of British or American infantry squads. And also with the large howitzer the Brummbar has could deal a lot of pin markers with a slight chance to damage and even knock out any type of tanks they might have to where if I don't pen their armor could maybe pin them to being pretty much as a kill with the pin markers.
Sounds good Chris, love to here how you get on 😁👍
@@kitchenwargamers4141 Yes I'll probably post in Josh/ WargamingNewb and Lack of Foresight Gaming Discords.
Have you got Ostfront yet? It's another nice supplement and goes nicely hand-in-hand with Stalingrad.
Your army is looking great, and nice list choices.
Thanks mate and no I haven't got Ostfront yet but
I am new to Bolt Action and was wanting to create a mid/late war SS Armored Panzergrenadier force. Is there any rules for fighting while mounted in halftracks in any of the campaign or other books?
Fighting with and from halftracks is the same as the main rules in the rule book. I have a video covering there rules that will help you out. But any army list allows you to take 1 halftrack per troop unit.
If you need any more help just ask. In the meantime I will have a look for ss panzergrenadier army lists
@@kitchenwargamers4141 I came up with a 1,000 point list, as that seemed a minimal amount for my concept of "Tip of the Spear" Attack/Counter Attack force. A 500 point list would have to be stripped down, and would just be a detachment of the bigger force. I anticipate the 1,000 point force will struggle, but I don't know how much. The concept is to utilize the German strengths as much as possible. Lots of MG dice (6+5+5+6+6), transports become armored MG nests, but might struggle against Armored assets.
All Veteran except vehicles which are Regular, Fanatics where possible. Teams listed under their transport.
Sd/Kfz 251/10 with light AT gun
2nd Lt & 1man both with AR,
Medium Mortar team with observer,
Sniper Team
Sd Kfz 251/ C w/MMG
Squad #1 NCO w/SMG & 8 men, LMG x2, Panzerfaust x2 (fire base)
Sd Kfz 251/ D w/MMG
Squad #2 NCO w/AR & 7 men w/AR, Panzerfaust x2 (assault team)
Sd Kfz 250/9 w/light auto cannon and MMG
Total: 997 points w/9 command dice
1,000+ point force additions:
Pioneer squad w/transport
Panzer IV or Panther tank
