Cute color! . I would have used a lower volume developer & lightened over a period of time instead of black to straight platinum (less damage). Also when bleaching it’s also best to save the edges for last & for a hot minute so they don’t become over processed since they process very fast. Foil also helps to maintain the temperature for consistent processing & helps you know which sections are processing well.
Maybe there’s some genetics into play??🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️ maybe even just being really cautious and following guidelines on the boxes idk; because there are members of my family who do this (me included) and our hair is okay. We do the usual maintenance and look after our hair and we’re fine. I think what also helps is that my hair mostly gets relaxed when I get my pixie cut and that’s like in 2 months (2.5 max) intervals, otherwise I just get my split ends trimmed; plus my hair is naturally a lighter brown (so less volume is used ) and I don’t aim for platinum, just light enough to put colour in my hair (I did orange once and that was fun 🤣🤣) Plus I don’t overlap with touch ups I’m not a professional and all I understand is that you strip your hair of it’s natural oils and protein and open flaps on the strands (that already pushes me to be extra cautious) Side note: I did not know hair could go into shock, another new thing I just learned So I try to help my hair and treat it and it must work to some degree because my hair doesn’t fall out or feel/look like some dusty crusty carpet like some of those hair fail videos. Because we’ve gotten our hair done at salons, we heed their advice so that when we started doing it at home; it wasn’t a whole disaster. Again, I’m not a professional, but based on my own experience I think if you really try your best to avoid as much damage as possible and look after your hair it should be fine. Then again this isn’t a ticket to go crazy and process your hair every other time, it needs a break too 🤣🤣so also remember moderation. So keep in mind some hair lifestyles aren’t for you.
I mean I did it and my hair was fine.... everything is different for everybody! .... This is a "make sure you know your hair" situation. Because most people will say "keep you r hair braided it'll grow".... When all that did was make my hair break off🙄🤣....so once again.... everybody hair is different 🤷
It’s possible to bleach relaxer hair after waiting at least a month after your relaxer. Make sure your hair is healthy & you don’t over process because it does damage but the reverse relaxing bleached hair is a nooo
😳 girl.... It's just hair u'll b fine 😊 just do more research next time it is possible to have both in a health way too. I've done it. But it takes a lot of care
@@FindingLys lmao oh gee. I bleached my hair almost white once, and no matter how many oils and moisturizer I put in my hair it was still dry af 🙄 I just went bald headed after lol
Never relax and bleach it will most likely take your hair out . I wouldn’t recommend any color with lift your hair is already compromised from relaxer . Not to mention your hair looks very unhealthy and the ends are severely broken off to begin with . I did the same thing before going natural lmao that’s actually what started my journey. I high recommend a big chop at this point it cannot he saved . It will grow and be back in no time ❤ Also if you do color your hair you should be using Olaplex and protein treatments
OMG why did all of that hair come out? Too much hair loss at once. IDK about this one, you should of went to a professional. Your hair looks very thin.
Please do not bleach it again. At this point your hair is damaged. I don't mean to hurt your feelings but if you were my relative I would tell you. Not looking good at all!
@@selekachazha5598 it actually really depends on your hair!! I relax my hair once a year (it's never bone straight..my hair is naturally curly and the relaxer just help me tame it better) I've bleached my relaxed hair and it never fell out, texture never changed. But I Know how far to go with my hair! ...my hair is very healthy
Update: It started to look a mess after those braids so I ended up cutting & coloring. Another video coming in a couple days if anyone cares lmaoo
No 😭😭 It looked so good when you just got it done

Yes, what you mentioned is right. That is what I do as well.
With a face this pretty a girl can wear her hair any way she wants!!!!
Bless you🥺😘
Omg this is definitely a trust the process video 😍😍
Wow, your new hair looks soooo good! Your new hair color suits you very well :3
Thank you! 🤍
Ok question did you use protein treatment before you bleached, because i think that would have helped with the shedding.
Omg this is definitely a trust the process video ! Love it 😍
Thank you!💕
You did a great job I love it 💯 gorgeous
Relaxing and bleaching hair = big hair disaster. Hair is already weakened by relaxed, bleaching ends up destroying its keratin.
Right😭 I’m so lucky it didn’t all fall out lol
@@FindingLys not yet. What people don’t realize is some hair goes into shock and breaks of fast and some people’s hair breaks off slowly.
@@feliciacat88 well if you look at her channel her hair hasn’t fallen out

It’s a nice color on You ! Make sure you keep it oil !
Wow you look amazing with that hair color 😍😍
Thanks babe!
Girl!! Bombshell vibes!! You looked amazing with that color!! You should do it again and add extensions!!
Looks good but dry af, it’s going to start breaking worst when you put it in braids because you won’t get to oil and moisturize it
thats exactly what happened lmaoo.

You know how dangerous this was
It looks soooooo amazing
Every woman that does this stares at the hair in their hand so hard.
Since you say your hair is SUPER dry, don't braid it
You look so bomb luv definitely giving me inspiration for my next style!!
Your hair is falling out you leave it for too long that's why your hair is breaking
Moral of the story: Never ever ever ever ever ever bleach thy hair.
what toner did u use?
Name of song?
This is pretty omgggg
Thank you!😭
Whyyyy did you wanna put it in braids you aren’t suppose to wear braids after bleaching your hair bc it can make it break off😭😭
Soooo Cuuutttteee 💜
Do you still have hair after those braids?
Part 2 is up😊
i want brad mondo to see this video so bad!!

Baby no, just no............ Never color relaxed hair with bleach. It does not look good.
You actually can it’s a science to it that’s all.
You mean the process was worrying but it DID look good. It’s brittle but as long as you’re fine with having to start over then go for it
It will damage your hair but if you stay on top of moisturising and protein treatments you could actually be good . Emphasis on the COULD
