I was going to suggest the same thing. I personally don't count opening up the rest of the catalogue as cheating.
Well if debug mode is cheating, then bbmoveobjects is also cheating and she CLEARLY used that one
@@ezmee870 I think the main thing was she didn't want to give herself anything she didn't already have. Being able to move things around more doesn't really give anything extra.
When you have more money you should definitely add a little loft sitting area for the parents above their room!
I love these kind of builds when you don’t cut out anything and switch from time lapse to real time please do more x
So weird seeing Akira in your gameplay because I'm currently using him as one of the main characters in mine, and he's completely different 😂
same lol. my female Sim is interested in a guy I created but seems Akira likes her too and that's without me working on any romantic side just their normal friendship levels.

So weird seeing him! He was the start of my 9 gen family!
I'd flip the backdrop so it's against the interior wall - then those gorgeous windows are letting lots of light into the studio instead of being blocked! I'd move the fire stairs to the back of the build too but that's just me being triggered by them covering the window, lol. Lovely start though.

You should try a build for a large family, like 4-6 kids, dog and cat. I'd love to see what you would come up with! 🏡💗

As a Mom of a toddler, it's easier for me personally to have the toys in the living room because I can do my thing but still keep an eye on my child. In feel if she was in her room by herself she could get up to more mischief. Lol

Meisha Star I’m 14 but my sister is 4 and whenever I watch her it’s just like an extra hassle to keep the toys in the play room, unfortunately the living room must suffer lol

Yes as a mom I like my kids playing in the living room. We have a playroom downstairs and obviously they can play in there bedrooms as well. But it makes it more fun the play together as a family in the living. Especially when you have toddlers. You want to be able to watch them play while you fold laundry, clean the kitchen, make lunch etc.
Hey Deli! I love your builds. But here’s a tip my grandparents (who are architects) gave me:
They said that it is recommended that the entrance is in a special hallway where you put your shoes, not in the lounge
(This doesn’t mean I don’t like the build. It’s the opposite... I love it! But my grandparents are really into theirs profession, so I thought you would wanna know.

People usually take their fridges, but toilets are a bit more rare. My mom redoes houses and always needs to put a fridge in.

This reminds me so much of all sims 2 builds! The colors, popart style and the industrial feel is so nostalgic! Kinda gives me IKEA pack style
Pregnancy photos are awesome! It can be a really difficult time to find yourself beautiful and celebrating that stage of your life in a way that feels beautiful and magic is really fun and nice. I had a friend that did a naked pregnancy photo shoot that was very artistic and pretty. Also everyone I know played with toys in their room or a play room after becoming an older toddler. Its hard to keep a child organised with their toys so its easier to manage the house when the toys are in one room.

I appreciate you telling us how you build, Deli. I like it when you play with Sims household who has limited budget. The warehouse, industrial home reminds me of Lux. I miss that guy. My dad doesn't mind it when we played in the living area, I guess it made it easier for him to watch us, sometimes he'll even join. Maybe it's just the lighting but you look under the weather, I hope you're doing fantastic 💙

I have 3 kids. Toys are stored in their rooms, although they are brought into the living area to play with often. I have a basket that toys are put into throughout the day when they’re done being played with. My kids then take the basket to put the toys away at the end of the day. :)

While I was a kid we played with my sister usually in our bedroom. The dolls and toys were stored over there but sometimes our games were all over the flat :)
I love the original sims music playing the background :) Takes me back to the days of building in The Sims (not 2,3 or 4).
Also as a Mum, I preferred the toys for my toddlers and babies being in the living room (lounge) and not upstairs in a bedroom. It meant I could keep an eye whilst being back and forth in the kitchen creating fun foods ;) I actually used the sims to section off my very large living room so I could have a dining area to contain the mess kids make when they eat. In real life I put a false wall up with doors after I had played around with it in the sims ;)
And once they got older, toys (a lot of them anyway) stay in their rooms. Not all, but most of them. My youngest is 8. She still brings all her beanie boos downstairs LOL

If the studio is going to be used for work, it should have its own door. Most people don’t like strangers walking through their homes/private spaces.

I love how much effort you put into your builds and how realistic you try and make it. If i tried to build something close to this, all you'd be able to hear me saying is "Gosh darn it!!!! Oh well. MOTHERLODE!!!!!!!" But seriously, you are an amazing simmer and builder and inspire some of the things i do such as Orphanage Challenge or even just inspiring my builds. When I was a kid, my sister and I always played in the living room or on the kitchen bar/table. Our mom was able to keep an eye on us and we couldn’t isolate ourselves for too long.
I love this build. I never really held an opinion of industrial type builds, but you do them really well.
The guy who lived in our house before us took the toilets, sinks, showers and fireplace out of the house and sold them before we moved in 😂

Back in my Sims 1 days I always built houses by doing the rooms first. I kinda want to go back to that way now, at least to try it again. Love this build.
Your lps are very story oriented and you tell this narrative while you play which is a different way of typically playing. If you play off screen without telling a dramatic story that would be really cool to see you do! "Playing the Sims like Clare or James" lets play challenge. The storys you tell are interesting but I want to see you playing without a plan and strictly following what sims actually do. Love you Deli!

I have a little play nook behind my sofa in the living room - as long as the toys are behind the sofa, I don't care about the mess. We keep the sitting area in front of the sofa cleaned up, only whatever toy is currently being played with. But I like to keep an eye on him.
