I was there, the only time I remember a tackle being celebrated like that was in the 2006 FA Cup game between Liverpool & Utd, someone tackled Gary Neville early on after he rather infamously celebrated a last minute goal at Old Trafford a few weeks earlier and everyone at Liverpool wanted to see him get smashed
Good stuff from talkSPORT which can get a bit predictable but a different studio set-up and a cool host interviewing guys who are real fans with UA-cam channels makes for a great watch.
Everyone is writing City off coming to Anfield because they surrendered a 3 goal lead against Feyenoord, but you have to score 3 goals in order to surrender a 3 goal lead! City are still a very dangerous team, the issue they have is if you score against them they are crumbling, their heads go down and they stop doing the basics. I think it is possible he drops Haaland and really congests the midfield to stop us playing through them! It is too early to be a title decider when there are so many quality teams around us like Arsenal and Chelsea!
Great to see robo getting invited on all the fan pod casts and the likes. Wears his heart on his sleeve when it comes to liverpool the club and liverpool the city. Hon da robo
I reckon they’re different enough to make the comparison problematic. Bradley’s defending is already much better than Trent’s, no question. But there are passes that Trent makes - that almost no one else can. Having Trent on the pitch is almost like having de bruyne at right back
He's a better defender, 100%. But trent's passing is better. Bradley can definitely close that gap though. He's improving very quickly. I think in the end Bradley will be the better player. 5 years ago was trent as good as Bradley is now? No. He was being exposed all the time.
Ludicrous for anyone to think that the season is over if Liverpool beats City this weekend. It’s only the end of November FFS. I have been a Liverpool fan for 40 years and have learned the hard way what turns a season can take. It is by definition nowhere near over. Despite the weakened nature of City, they could still go on a run. liverpool could face a major injury crisis. in addition to the existing injured, now Konate and Bradley are out. what if VVD and Salah suddenly acquire long term injury or the team experiences a slump? i want more than anything for the table to look like this at the end pf the season. But to think it is over end of November is arrogant and delusional
that point at the end is such bullshit. there was speculation when they got gravenberg already that Klopp wanted to convert him into a Gini Wijnaldum type 6, as he had some of the same strengths. Klopp didnt manage, clearly, or maybe Gravenberg needed that year in the background even just to learn that position better, but there is no chance in hell they didnt already talk about it when they bought him. I dont know enough football to make this up. they were discussing it back then, as I read about it.
The reason city won’t come back is because they’ve lost their air of invincibility with the rest of the league. Teams wont be intimidated the way they used to be and that will make it harder to go on those long runs
I'd rather have salah, virgil and trent all sign new contracts then any new signings in January, I don't think we need to overpay some club for some player we don't need, only left back maybe, and that's a big maybe, as between robbo and tmiskas I believe we have enough there till the summer, Ynwa Lfc ❤❤❤
Players don't do them type of tackles regularly anymore so when it happens it gets the crowd going and cranks the atmosphere up also the players get their second wind.thats what a good tackle can do
I celebrated that tackle like a goal.
A thing of beauty
That tackle by Connor Bradley was so crunching that my television screen cracked!!
The Bobby Moore tackle was against Jairzinho. Mexico 1970! Gareth is very good.
Gareth is such a likeable guy with great football knowledge aswell. He should be more often on talksport ect.
And he was very succesful while living under ronaldos shadow. Class.

The Flanno tackle on Sterling on Sterling's return to Anfield after signing for City was a nice one aswell..
Robbo doing the good work. Good lad.
Conor "The Tackle" Bradley...... iconic moment......
Last time we beat Real Madrid, our fullback Dossena scored and he scored in the same week when we beat Manchester United
Good stuff from talkSPORT which can get a bit predictable but a different studio set-up and a cool host interviewing guys who are real fans with UA-cam channels makes for a great watch.
It will go down in history
The last time Liverpool won the league it was already over before Christmas as well!
So happy to see Gareth
Gareth 😍

Good to see Robbo getting his flowers. Sound lad.
The Van Dijk push that happened earlier and put Mbappe The Turtle on his head was better.
More comedic, dunno if better lol
Great to see robo getting invited on all the fan pod casts and the likes. Wears his heart on his sleeve when it comes to liverpool the club and liverpool the city.
Hon da robo
Propa old school Neville type tackle, and it kills me saying that
Pep can't pull out the cheque book and spend. That days have gone
Alexander-Arnold would never even have dreamed of making that tackle in a million years; Bradley - BAM!
BUT BRADLEY WILL NEVER PASS LIKE TRENT IN A MILLION YEARS 😂😂😂😂
The tackle was a pure statement of intent...
Gerrard style tackle
Bappee as my dad calls him, will never forget that tackle 😂
Connor Bradley smashed Mbappe, very nice.....
I reckon they’re different enough to make the comparison problematic.
Bradley’s defending is already much better than Trent’s, no question.

1000 gerrard tackles
Rory is right about mancity. This mancity team really isn't thag good. It's not the same mancity team that would be getting 90+ points.
Love Gareth
Connor absolutely bodied Mbappe and that will last forever!
He is better then Trent
He is better than trent
steady now...
Trent has gotten arrogant and he poses way too much....
Behave , defending he is but he can’t do what Trent does
He's a better defender, 100%. But trent's passing is better. Bradley can definitely close that gap though. He's improving very quickly. I think in the end Bradley will be the better player. 5 years ago was trent as good as Bradley is now? No. He was being exposed all the time.
The English obsession with tackles is bizarre. Though to be fair, that was a good one!

Oh no not Mr Jennings
Lets get excited about a tackle ball and all, English football at its finest
Kyle walker looks pregnant

There's only one Gareth Roberts !!!!!!!!!!
When did Ant Middleton join TalkSport?
Man City forgot to renew contracts for Epl referee's plus VAR officials no wonder they have been struggling. No David Coote no win for Man City
He nearly slipped into a 'but they do though, though, don't they though' 😂😂
Great performance but that isn't a great Madrid side.
🐢 goat got found out.
but he sustained an injury
Bloody hell you weirdos
Loving the connection between Rory and Robbo. Touch of class.
Seriously it was only a tackle, good tackle granted but come on don’t cream your pants over it.
Players don't do them type of tackles regularly anymore so when it happens it gets the crowd going and cranks the atmosphere up also the players get their second wind.thats what a good tackle can do
The point of the tackle is that it lifted the team and the crowd. From that moment on Liverpool really went after Madrid.
One tackle and people loose their minds.
Wtf!? It’s was a standard tackle 😂😂😂😂
15 years ago last time liverpool beat the communist real madrid 😂
Communist Real Madrid? Communist?
One tackle, and Liverpool fans think the Treble's in the cabinet in November...heard this same story before!
When was that?
Klopp's farewell tour? The 2021/2022 quadruple rants?
You sound bitter cry more 😂😢
@@garywallace5602 The quadruple rants from rival fans and the media you mean? I'm with you. But you didn't mention the tackle you were referring to.
I'm not the one crying in May, lad! 😭
It’ll go down in history 🤦🏻♂️ Jesus Christ 🤦🏻♂️
🧂
Rory and Gareth no thankyou 😂
I will come back to fnis when they go teophyless and still celebrating that tackle
Sour bitter little boy 😂
