I’ve been sober for 33 years. Approximately six months before my first daughter was born. My daughters, family and music help me to stay that way. I’ve been listening to metal since I was eight years old approximately 51 years and I haven’t been impressed by a band in quite a few years. Jinjer is definitely at the top of my list right now and has been since I first discovered them 6 or 7 years ago. They are an extremely talented band. Quite impressive
My thought is that they wanted to capture the personal, isolated nature of this particular struggle. I think featuring Vlad, Roman, and Eugene would have turned it into a "party" and taken from the isolation effect. We know they're there in spirit. :) I think it was a good choice for just Tati to be featured this time 'round. I enjoyed your reaction. Subbed.
The band Members themselves completely have "no" concern for highlighting any of its members. As an actual introvert Tatiana still takes on the responsibilities of the seasoned front person and effectively uses her passion for visual art to add to the mix of the musical dexterity and creativity of this band. As a Guitarist of 40+ years I've gravitated almost solely towards these heavier forms of music and for bands with a vocalist Jinjer is one of my current favorites.
It is a brave song about people struggling with alcoholism. The Green Serpent is an Eastern European metaphor for alcoholism. (Tatiana has posted about her sobriety). She and the band have a lot of talent but it takes guts to expose one's struggles. Great reaction as always.
Great song. Loving the singles from the album so far. My favorite is still "Someone's Daughter", but this is right there with it. 'Duel' is the name of the new album that drops on Feb 7. You haven't done the 2nd and 3rd singles yet. "Rogue" (all harsh vocals) and "Kafka". Both are worth checking out. Also releasing on Feb 7 is the new album from Dream Theater, Parasomnia. Portnoy is back!! First single is "Night Terror".
This is some of my favourite vocal melodic composition from Tati, & I love her extensive use of her *gorgeous* head voice to hit highs in this piece, a portion of her vocal repertoire that we've heard very little of up to now. The section you highlighted with the combined guitar & bass tapping with great tom drum groove is incredible, & I love the Opethy outro. Even the stripped down, simple chuggy riffs in the last two heavy sections are a welcome addition, as Jinjer fans usually have to struggle to head bang to Jinjer's weird rhythms & unusual, shifting time signatures (which I also love, of course). This is a *great* song, destined to be a Jinjer classic, IMO. They've already performed this song live, and it sounds great!
thanx for your reaction! I'm sure Tati knows that without Vlad, Eugene and Roman she wouldn't be as far along musically as she is now. This trio cannot be replaced and I've been a musician myself for over 40 years. I would also have liked to have seen the whole band in this video, but I'm sure that everything was discussed with the musicians on an equal footing beforehand! warm greetings from the german musician
Good to see you guys! This song is nice live too....some of the recent videos from their Brazil tour over the past couple of days have this song included. They kill it, as usual. Eugene posted a video on his IG page playing the bass solo at the end of the song. Both hands on the fretboard...mostly tapping with some finger sliding as well. New Jinjer in February and just purchased my tickets for an April dats of Meshuggah's US Tour. Shaping up to be a good year. Hope you guys are well.
Other than this being personal for Tatiana (two years sober) the other potential factors for it just being her is that to one extent or another the record company has a say in how many and what singles come out and when. A single comes with a video. Videos being expensive and the fact that when they aren't touring she is thousands of miles away from the rest of the band could have something to do with it.
I'm betting Taiana wrote the lyrics about someone else. Yes, she quit drinking a few years ago. She was only a minor social drinker anyway. She did have a 3 shot ritual before a show with Vald for a year or two. To loosen up some. She reportedly stopped smoking cigs too. Eugene did have a problem as did/does Vlad. I'm guessing Tatiana stopped cigs and all alcohol because she wants to have a child. The "clock" is ticking for her and Alex to start their family. You heard it here first fellow Jinjer fans. I look forward to seeing Jinjer live again for the third time in '25. 🤘
lol Green Serpent is metaphorically referred to alcohol in russian. Bitten by green serpent in slavic tradition is symbolic of alcoholism and the depths of intoxication/addiction.....as for the song, the opeth outro is cool. Middle LOG breakdown is cool. Also kinda sounds like an angular proggy album cut on first listen, but quickly turns out to be a banger😂😂.....also tati looks hot here 😂😂 Jinjer - Audiotree From Nothing (Live Performance)
Considering what the song is about and that Tatiana herself struggled with alcoholism, I wonder if the band made a conscious decision to make the video just her.
😢Waiting for your reaction to the song and artist, you can just fall asleep! Do you understand what a reaction to a performer and execution is? Or do you only see and hear your own dialogue???
god damn she can sing and the band is masters of the universe

Amaizing song!
It's coot! Thanks from UKRAINE 🇺🇦
Your best bet is too go see them live
I didn't know Tatiana was sober. I wish she also quits smoking to protect her beautiful voice.

Jinjer - Audiotree From Nothing (Live Performance)
The video was filmed in LA when the rest of the band was in Europe...
Awesome 👍🤘🎸
and you hear all of the band i like to hear all of the band
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
❤️🔥🤘
The presence of the musicians would not have fit well into the narrative of the video, would interrupt the story in a way.
Please check out a singer named Fujii Kaze, specifically his live version of the song Matsuri
Considering what the song is about and that Tatiana herself struggled with alcoholism, I wonder if the band made a conscious decision to make the video just her.
nice next reaction girl rockers VOB
QWER reaction please
Korean girl band
They won the Best band award at MAMA2024 & KGMA
Won the Hot trend award at MMA 2024🎉
I see alot of similarities between Tatiana and Gwen Stefani.

maybe they didn't want to be in the video they're players not actors
